Didn't get to try this out on the road, but seems like a great jacket. Very high quality materials and construction. My only negative is the sizing. I'm a consistent 2XT, but this jacket is small. The FG product manager in the review video says this is a box cut or american cut, meaning roomier than European. It may be roomier than European, but not a true 2XT. Going up to 3X (they don't make a 3XLT) makes the jacket an inch shorter. Not good if you have a long torso. If you're an XLT, this jacket in this size will probably be perfect for you.

Unfortunately, the size charts from Firstgear are somewhat limited. After a few calls to the manufacturer we were able to deduce that the size difference between the 2XL and 3XL is more in the circumferences of the chest and waist than the overall length of the jacket. Between the 2XL-Tall and 3XL-Reg, the 3XL will have a shorter torso and sleeve length of about an inch.
