Can't speak much for heat output max/min yet, but I like what I see from a quality of the garment standpoint. I like the tall collar.
Size chart indicated XL I ordered XL tall and am happy. 6' 2" 245, 34 inch inseam. This gives extra length in sleeves cause I hate glove gap and waist/ back coverage.

This jacket will not work with my accessory outlet on my BMW 2013 F 700 GS. At 90 watts, there too much of a draw, I suppose. No big deal, though, to use the provided wiring harness from the heat troller.
The jacket is super soft inside and out. Even without the heat on, the jacket blocks the wind very nicely.
I recommend this product. Just keep in mind your other wiring options since it won't work with some accessory outlets.

Better heat distribution than previous versions.
Bought this jacket to upgrade my first gear 65 watt liner.i knew this 90 watt version would be hotter but didn't realize how much.rode in 20 degrees at highway speeds started sweating.lowered the setting from high to medium very comfortable. When using 65 watt version always had it on high below 45 degrees.Jacket allows more room in mid section due to new stretch panels.New heat panels heat up much faster than old style wires and stay warm even when turned off.Waterproof exterior is nice for the wet weather but does a better job at keeping the wind off you.So far great jacket and comes with 2 year warranty.

A shopper asked:"WP" stands for water proof...can this jacket be use as a rain gear?Oct 20, 2013
Kimo Z:It's definitely not Goretex, the jacket fabric coating may provide some level of water repellent capability however I expect in a sustained rain it would leak through the seams and zippers.Dec 10, 2013
David B:This liner was a upgrade to my previous heated jacket liner.it has waterproof outer shell and the additional wattage i needed for very cold temperatures.previous liner was 65 watts and this one is 90 watts.makes all the difference.Oct 10, 2013
