The Pinlock shield with the insert does the trick. It does stop fogging as stated. But to spend $75+ USD to get an anti-fogging system is a bit expensive. I just paid closed to $500 for the helmet and needed to cough up another $75 more so I can use it in cold weather. Not thrilled... but I can see clearly now. Remember folks, you need to buy the shield in addition to the shield insert.

This is an excellent shield and fit my XD-3 like a glove. I've noted a few complaints on a few forums about the insert not fitting properly. Remember that the pinlock cams have to be turned so they are at their widest point then the insert will fit like a glove.

the pins on the visior were 180 degrees out made inner visior not fit after I turned the pins it fit fine.

The Pin Lock System does stop the fogging, as advertised. I'm a bit disappointed with it for my particular situation however, which is the Arai XD-3 helmet. I purchased both a clear and smoked insert, hoping I would be able to switch easily from one to another. Not so with my helmet. I would have to completely remove the helmet side screws, peak and visor to switch the lense inserts. There seems to be no way to switch the inserts without removing the visor. Not too pratical at the side of the road at sundown. Also, a bit of distortion and some reflections, but you get used to it. I still haven't tried it in the rain yet, but I hope this is where it works, making it worth all the effort.
