Initially a bit concerned with the tight fit, but the boots broke in after the first day. I have worn them all day at work without a problem. They look great and enjoy the flexibility for street use. Not ultra rigid like a race boot but still provide plenty of protection. Only used for a week so will have to wait and see about durability. My S-MX2s have held up pretty well after a couple of years so shouldn't be a concern.

This is my second pair of these boot. My major, and frankly, my only real complaint with the first pair was that the velcro tabs that secure the final closure of the boot were not up to the task of keeping the boot securely closed. The new model seems to be more effective in this area. The boots proved to be very comfortable and totally waterproof even in extended heavy rains. The rubber sole wore away while the leather upper remaind in good condition so maybe Alpinstars might consider using a harder compound. Too bad you really can't replace the sole. In summary, the boots perform as advertised and are a good value and a well made product.

Have had this boot for 2,100 miles. This boot (WP) required almost no break in period. They are extremely comfortable. For this price they offer a lot of protection. I was hoping this could be my boot for all seasons, but they are too warm for 85+ degrees. They do flow some air. And the Revzilla staff did tell me any WP boot would not flow a lot of air. They are cooler than my Tourmaster Solution WP boots, and offer way more comfort and protection. Walking comfort is not too bad either.

I have worn these boots on a couple of rides now and found them excellent in fit and comfort straight out of the box,i was sick of cold or wet feet and these boots are awesome for wormth and dryness.Tempertures getting around 5/8 deg C and in the rain.Looking forward to seeing how they handle the negative tempertures that we get in New Zealand

Warm in weather down to 26 F. No experience in the heat or rain yet. I was looking for a warm winter boot and this works nicely. I had to take my Gerbings electric insoles out because my feet were too hot. Fits a lttle tight at the ankles, but very comfortable once you break them in.

Product fits true to size, but snug (waterproof version). I wear a size 14 in every sport shoe imaginable. These boots are snug around the ankles, and I have medium to small ankles. These boots are perfect for me due to this snug sizing. At $250 these boots are a good buy. They look good and perform very well. Last winter I rode from the Northeast to Florida. It rained the first 6 hours of my trip, before work, and my non-waterproof boots were absolutely soaked in the first 10 minutes of riding. The non-waterproof boots didn't look like they would leak that much, but they turned out to be the weakest link in my gear. I promised myself I would get waterproof boots for commuting once I sold my car. I sold the car, and bought good gear. This was a good purchase. I do wish they had replacement soles, as I often have to walk after my rides.

It has velcro on the front and a microfiber type lining on part of the boot. The back piece that gets zippered is leather and it is leather all way up in front but over it is the plastic piece and some synthetic material that holds the velco.
