Great bag to have
It's a first time for me where the bag has useful purposes. The storage size in the bag is amazing and you can keep extra shoes and stuff inside as well as squeezing many things(including another person personal items). The helmet carrier is useful, able to carry a full face helmet easily. Back protector is comfortable and fits well on your back. Certain compartments gets very wet after rain and will affect your documents, more of the 2 compartments on the sides.
But overall, it is a very good bag and worth the value.

Answer:
The major difference between the two, based on information from Alpinestar's website, is that the Tech Aero has a strap system that can allow the pack to be used as a tank bag AND as a back pack. As to features, The Tech aero seems to have more refinements - internal rain cover, multipurpose strap system etc - the tech aero video goes through it pretty well.Personally, I ride with an Ogio Zero Drag which I like a great deal but if the Tech Aero was available when I got the Ogio would have been a tough choice.
Good luck. Best suggestion, if you have the money to make the purchase of both - buy both and when they arrive, compare and keep the one you like best and send the other back. Revzilla is customer service heaven - just leave the tags on and call them. It's that easy.
