Alpinestars Tech Aero Backpack
Bag is great for what it is
I have been looking for a great bag to hold my riding jacket, pants and helmet for when I arrive at a destination such as a friend's house or restaurant (non-formal). Most bags do not have a good place to hold a helmet. In addition most bags are not large enough to hold a jacket and overpant. As was the case with this bag. Although it functions well if I head to the gym and just need a simple change of clothes and can leave things in a locker it does not do well to stuff all my riding gear into it. I believe I need something along the lines of a 40L or larger bag. Aside from my personal needs the bag seems to perform well for those that only require storage for smaller items like a small laptop, simple change of clothes, space for a water reservoir and other unique storage spaces. I would have liked some other color choices too.

I really like the bag.
allot of space with all the pockets you need
water pouch laptop tablet cords bits and bobs mesh zipper
expandable gusset for a heavier load and the exterior features
rain cover helmet carrier and glasses microfiber lined all work an came as described
although the bag feels great on and distributes weight evenly I wish the strap and upper portion of the bag near the shoulders was a bit more integrated for the speed hump on my jacket it sits right on top of it blocking the air flow but other than that great bag

Alpinestars Tech Aero 2015
This is a fantastic backpack if you are a sport bike rider. It's not overly huge but not small either. It hugs you really well and you almost forget it's there. The pack breathes well on your back but yet doesn't allow the backpack to act as a parachute (so to speak) You never feel it tug on you. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality backpack. It's a touch on the expensive side, but hey, it's Alpinestars. :)

Got my second bag, the first was returned. Guess what, the second bag has the same exact problem. The helmet hook pulls right out. It is not stitch into the bag. I'm ordering my third this weekend. Last chance.

I have used this backpack for commuting and on a couple trip. It sits very securely on my back with leathers or my textile jacket. It does a good job of staying out of the wind at higher speeds and remains comfortable. I like the low profile shoulder straps but really miss the quick release function. The back protector, helmet, laptop, tablet, glasses, hydration and other compartments all function really well. Have not had a chance to test the rain fly. The hydrating pack fits best hanging into the laptop compartment so having both might be cumbersome. My only complains so far is that the zipper for the main compartment hangs up where the reflective trim meets it near the top on both sides.

Style with Functionality
I primarily bought this backpack to commute to school. It feels fantastic on my back even going hwy speeds. I wear a Dianese D1 jacket and it almost feels like the backpack and the jacket become one piece while riding. Air flow is very nice under the pack. It has a fair amount of pockets but not too many to become a nuisance trying to find something if I forgot which pocket I put it in. Fits my 15" laptop nicely and I have plenty of room for my books and other items. Sleek and Stylish backpack with all the necessary compartments to be very functional. Very happy with my purchase. Good Job Alpinestars.
