Love this backpack! My boyfriend is a commuter, only having his motorcycle as means of transportation. His previous backpack was torn to pieces and for a thoughtful Christmas present I got him the Shoei Backpack 2.0 He absolutely loves it!! He gives him plenty of room to put all he needs in the main compartment and then he still has room for his electronics or what ever he needs. I did a lot of research on what was an affordable, dependable backpack and I would recommend this one to anyone out there! January 5, 2015
This product has EVERYTHING I love everything about this backpack. Design, material quality, inside space and dividers, protection for your stuff and very comfortable. First time that I wanted to use the helmet holder I got so confused because I couldn't find the middle quick connect buckle "it is in that small zipper on top". I use it 3 times a week on my motorcycle and 2 times a week as my normal backpack in my car to go to work. It looks like it has so much space but when you start using it you gonna find out it is the best for daily use. The only problem with it is When I have my gear on it is a little hard to put it on. But I still Love it. October 27, 2014
Not bad for the price This product caught my eye as soon as I saw it. To match my shoei helmet, a shoei backpack with a helmet holder would be a great investment. It holds a 17in laptop with any other books and binders a commuter may need. Overall i would say this is a solid piece of equipment. After three months of daily use, there arnt any rips or tears and most things seem to be fine. Which leads me to the problems iv occurred. First of all, the chest strap is garbage. Even in it's tightest setting; it barely hugs the bag to me as I would like. Even if it did, the pinchers that latch into the shoulder straps are not secure and will detach with minimal force. Iv already lost one, leaving the other without a purpose, so that was removed as well. Next would be the handle on top of the bag. I love the thickness of it because I'm sure it's something that wouldn't fall apart on me, but the problem is when I'm adjusting the shoulder straps. If you adjust too tight, our wonderful handle gets pressed up against your neck and it's just not the most pleasant feeling. This means, if you're carrying a small load, be prepared for a loose fitting bag, something that I don't enjoy while riding. This may be a matter of opinion and personal use, but I don't find the helmet holder very helpful. Sure, it's nice to have, but with the helmet sitting in the cradle, you don't have access to the front pockets. I found myself having to remove and put back the helmet many times and just opted to leave it out and carry it through my arm. As you should know, this bag isn't waterproof. Not much to say there; you get what you pay for. I havnt been to worried about rain though. Florida living makes the weather predictable. Overall I do believe this is a great backpack. For just over $100 it has a fantastic amount of room, many built in features and looks fantastic. If you can power through these nit picks, you'll have a great backpack that seems to hold up well. Very Nice I did lots of research and shopping before I tried this backpack. I was intrigued by the helmet holder, which works well. I use my backpack when riding my motorcycle to school. The helmet holder comes in handy, especially when I don’t want to leave it locked up on my bike (mostly due to weather). What I would like to see are larger side pockets for water bottles. Only a very small water bottle would fit, such as a 10 ounce bottle. Other than that, I really like the backpack and the material it is made of. Looks and feels like strong quality textile material. roomy and comfortable Very roomy, able to fit easily fit riding overpants with pads inside. Nice simple design. The only thing i dont like are the side zippers, they zip against the wind so tend to slowly open on their own. Have not tried in the rain. Just now realized if you dont want to use bottom straps, there is a hidden pocket you can store them into August 1, 2014
Great Pack Checked many different packs but decided in the Shoei. Great pack for money. Comfortable and has lots of space inside. Can't do much better for 100 bucks. July 28, 2014
Finishing not perfect, but good product for the price. Good size, good price. Finishing issues that do not compromise overall quality. June 2, 2014

A shopper asked: How big is this bag, in liters for example? Which is bigger: the Shoei Backpack 2.0 or the Dainese Backpack R? Apr 6, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kenneth C: I think the Shoei is larger, the only backpacks bigger, that I've seen, were in the camping section of sports stores. It will hold my security chain and lock, rotor lock, bike cover, winter gloves and helmet. As for durability, it carries my chain, cover and construction tools on my commutes to work and it hasn't shown any signs of wear and tear since I bought it in mid-Febuary. Kept everything dry also. Hope this helps a lil.

Happy trails

Michael S: I don't know the exact size, but it is similar to most schoolbook size daypacks that kids take to class. The beauty of this pack is that a helmet can be slung on the outside when you're not riding. Apr 6, 2014

Kimberly V: I have never tried on the latter, but THE Shoei is sufficiently large. I can put my laptop plus a change of clothes with shoes EASILY. Apr 6, 2014

Gerald B: don't know anything about the Dainese backpack but I put my slider jacket inside my pack with water bottles May 28, 2014

A shopper asked: I like this bag's features but I am a bit concerned about how comfortable it is, I have a back pack which also has the top or ''pull carriage strap'' not on the bag but attached or part of the actual straps just as this does and is a literal pain in the neck, is this Shoei 2.0 any different? would I be able to stretch my head back on a red light without having to call my chiropractor afterwards?
Thanks for your help.

Kimberly V: I'm 5'11", I weigh about 190 pounds and this backpack fits me well and comfortably. My head movement is not impeded nor does my neck get sore. I commute twelve miles each way on a daily basis and have been very satisfied with this product. I wear an armored jacket and a quick release button on the lower area of one of the straps would be nice. Easier to take on and off. Feb 19, 2014

Tony F: I haven't ridden with this pack yet. I bought it for airline travel as a carry-on. I wanted a pack that I can put my helmet on as well as the electronics storage. So far the pack has exceeded my expectations.

I can say that the pack does hang low and well off my neckline. The upper yoke is at most in the middle of my shoulder blades when I have it loaded.
