Alpinestar Deploy Backpack
Great pack for everything, short trips, long trips, all weather capable. Heavy heavy rain, light snow, frost conditions, road splash from other vechicles. This pack deals with it all. I got it for the capacity and size largest sporty pack that isn't a travel pack. Other were sporty and stylist but lacked capacity.
Inside you will find an array of pockets for all your needs, fit everything you need clothes, tools, small tire repair kit, extra shields, spare bike bulb, food, any hydration pack.
Outside extremely safe, stylishly reflective to traffic behind and to the sides, tie downs for additional gear, more sealed zippered compartments that survive any weather you want to throw at it.
Comfortable doesn't ever get in the way of riding / hitting corners... Allows you to still be aggressive and technical if you want. Doesn't interfere with your aerodynamic hump if you have one on your jacket.
Over all great for everything while feeling and looking sporty, can fill it up to capacity or compress it down to a small size using the tie down loops.

Nice looking and plenty of room too
Lots of room and a nice big laptop compartment. Straps are very comfortable too

It's a back pack, nothing more
I like this back pack & I don't. I like it because it's cool looking, comfortable & has plenty of space. I don't like it because I was somehow thinking it would be water resistant, especially with the "Waterproof Zippers." Well, its not anymore water resistant than a tee shirt. If you're going to buy this pack, ignore anything in the information section that mentions waterproof or resistant. If you want a pack, that pretty cool looking, has plenty of space, this will work for you...albeit it's expensive.
The other problem I have with it is, there are no side cinch straps to help secure your load but even still it works pretty well. Overall it's fine but I did try to return it after one use...which I knew wasn't gonna happen, but I tried. I would not buy it again for what I bought it for, but if I were just buying a dry weather only pack, this would work. I recommend it because it fits well, looks good & has good space.

great backpack
This is a good backpack for daily commute. I was looking for a backpack that I could carry my laptop in and my Dell xps 15 can barely fit it in due to being too thick. I have to take my time to make it pass in the opening but my girlfriend macbook pro 15 fits in super easy. At first glance, the backpack look failry big but it isn't. You can put a change of clothes and shoes in it and some personal paperwork + your laptop. The backpack got a good width and the straps are very comfortable. I still haven't used the two exterior pockets but it gives you extra storage. I gave "good" ratings on performance and durability because it takes some patience to get my laptop in and i'm pretty sure it may cause premature wear in the long run. Style wise it's a good looking backpack.

Well made and roomy! Good bag for commuters.
I purchased this backpack for all weather use, since I am using the bike for commuting these days. The self sealing zippers and waist/chest straps were a what attracted me to this bag.
While I have not yet used the bag in the rain, I think it will perform well. The zippers look like they will keep out most rain - if we're talking downpours of biblical proportions, then you probably have worse problems than water getting into your backpack.
The bag is roomy, with plenty of interior pockets (both with and without zippers) for organizing your stuff. While riding, the bag stays in place well if you use the waist and chest straps.
My only complaint about the bag, and it's a minor one, is the reflective piping. I wish there was more/larger reflective piping/details on the bag. I want to be as visible as possible, so more reflective is better to me.
Overall this is a great bag. I would buy this backpack again!
