Looks great Fit and finish is great on this kit. Install was a bit tedious, but not too bad with a little patience. It looks so much better than the stock tail it's not even funny. Revzilla delivered it quickly and the package was packed very well. May 19, 2015
A refined option for the FZ07 Barring the terrible instructions, this kit is a fine purchase for a decent price of ~100.00 usd. If you've ever put together a Lego castle you should be able to sort this sucker out and get it all put together in a timely fashion. When fully assembled and installed, the fender delete kit offers a very clean package with a great lighting solution for your license plate. The included LED setup is fantastic and looks exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone that wants to remove the starship enterprise from the back of their 07. May 18, 2015
Let the dealer do it Not much to say, it is what it is. I recommend having a dealer do the install. It was 2 hours labor with a lot of nuts, bolts and wire cuts. I am pretty handy, but just not confident enough to cut up a brand new bike. May 8, 2015
Great looking fender eliminator. On a 2015 FZ-07. Looks great, LED light is a plus, wish you didn't have to cut the stock harness though. Strong fitment. Seems a little steep in price for what you get, but it's great quality and definitely cleans up the back of the bike. May 2, 2015
Yoshi is awesome I had puchased a Yoshi fender eliminator for my 2014 Ninja 300 SE, so when I traded it in for a 2015 FZ-07, the first thing I had to get was an eliminator. They are more expensive than competitors but you can't argue with the quality. All metal with no plastic like the cheaper models. Great instructions and looks infinitely better than the stock fender. Very solid little piece of hardware Densely powdercoated in flat black, this tail tidy assembles in about a minute (obviously it takes a little longer to actually stick it on to the bike). Machining and welds are crisp, no spatters or burrs. Bolted together, it's solid and makes a nice mount for the stock or aftermarket turn signals. The sole criticism I have is a little one. The LED illuminators for the license plate are bare emitters, which while shielded from above and the sides by the mount, are still more open to dirt and weather than I'd like. Sort of surprised a lens isn't part of the assembly. Yes, a thing I can take care of myself with a strip of polycarbonate and some super glue, but for a hundred bucks and change it seems an odd thing to leave out. March 19, 2015
Simply perfect. Being a new FZ-07 owner, I immediately wanted to remove the huge tail of a system that Yamaha had going on back there. It was simply gaudy and oversized. This product looks GREAT. It's easy to install and is simply, clean cut. March 9, 2015
Yoshimura There may be less expensive alternatives, but this Yoshimura tail tidy is a super clean, well engineered standout. Fit and finish is excellent. LED license plate light is perfect. Highly recommended. March 9, 2015

matthew e: No cutting, but there are some plastic body panel retaining clips on the underside of the tail that will be loose once removing the rear fender. I solved this by using washers on the back side of the panel to make up for the difference. The clips are more snug than they were originally. Tip: I used electrical tape to hold the washers in place because you can't get your fingers inside the tail once the panels are in place. Just be sure to cut some slits in the hole so that the clip can slide through. You'll probably still need to push down on the washer with a screwdriver when inserting the clip. Also, I found that the easiest way to remove the clips, when removing the fender, was to push down on the pin from the backside (inside the tail) with a screwdriver minus the bit and push against the retainer ring from the underside of the tail (tire side). There's probably an easier way, but this worked for me.

Very good looking, high quality kit.

David S: I could not tell you as it was so complicated, trying to understand the directions, I had it done by a mechanic.

Holden N asked: Will this look ok with the turn signals eliminated? I want to install this along with a sequential tail light with blinkers built in. Feb 26, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Michael H: Hi Holden,
Well it fits the fz-07 perfect, and my led signals went in the brackets on the yoshi unit as they are built for them...and it looks frkn awesome..so that's all I can tell ya. Are you thinkin about useing the led in the yoshi unit as a sequential signal?
Have a great day
Mike
