Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Kit BMW S1000RR / S1000R
looks nice only a few small issues
The fender eliminator has a good finish and looks good on the bike but you have to make it look stock and clean by cleaning up the wires yourself. So depending on how good you are at making wires look stock is what will determine how clean it comes out. The wiring wasn't hard to do but there are things that you should do like soldering the turn signal wires. They only give you 2 wire connectors but you'll actually need to connect 6 wires once everything is cut. It's a pretty straight forward install if your comfortable with doing some wiring and putting everything together is very easy it's like assembling ikea furniture imo. There were two small aluminum spacers that were provided with the kit which didn't end up fitting so I had to use the stock rubber grommets that came off of the old fender eliminator. Also the turn signal wiring diagram was backwards on my instructions the one for the single R were the wires I had on my double R.

Nice Result, but directions lacking and sloppy wire routing
The directions are virtually a parts listing with a photo. I learned a lot putting it on, and would definitely be more efficient next time. My suggestion would be to put that information in the directions. The routing of the wires is ok, but much cleaner on the original OEM part. Overall improvement in looks, but I would probably choose a different company knowing what I know now.

A must have but instructions are lacking!
First off, this is a must have for any bike and especially the S1000 platform. Looks amazing. Here's what you need to know about the install! After tear down, strip back all heat shrink and tape. Cut off wires to plate light about 3in away from light. Take Phillips screw out of tail light cover and pull out the reflector. You might have to push the wiring into the signal to be able to pull the reflector out. Unplug the two wires and pull out of signal. Reaatch signals to eliminator kit and reroute wires and plug back in. Blue/purple is the left signal incase you mix them up. You will reuse the wiring harness so you should only have to but splice the new plate lamp to the wires you cut in the beginning. The instructions should cover the rest. Use heat shrink or electrical tape to cover bare wires enough to get into your seat cowl.

Installing the fender delete was a very simple and straightforward task, took about an hour total (I decided to clean chain grease off the subframe while I was there) and looks great. Only needed to cut and splice the license plate light wiring to install this kit, excess wiring slack tucked away nicely.

Nice alternative for the price.
I had a fender eliminator from another company that cracked at the welds. Since this is all one piece, that eliminated that problem. Plus it is made of a thicker metal and more durable. Couldn't pass it up for the price.

Huge improvement over stock unit.
Very Nice piece! Really cleaned up the undertail of my S1000rr, install wasn't to bad but the instructions could have been written better. Other than that no complaints here.
