U-CLEAR HBC200 Force Bluetooth Communicator - Dual Pack
Does what it should. Very well.
My wife and I have been using the HBC200 system for the past season with excellent results. Sound quality (up to about 70MPH), battery life, ease of install, ease of use are all great. Bike to bike intercom is outstanding. I have had phone conversations and the other person had no idea I was on a motorcycle traveling at speed!

I have used these in all sort of conditions and have never had a problem with them. I have even been caught in nasty rain storms and they came through without a hitch. I wear a shorty helmet and up to 70 mph I can hear every word clearly. I have been on rides talking on the phone and the person on the other end had no clue has fast I was moving.

I just rode around 1000 Kms , with the Uclear installed to my Shoei qwest and it was amazing. I went through Inter state highways, twisties over the Colombian central mountain chain, also went up to a national park at 4.000 mt over sea level and covered under the rain for an hour off road tracks with all the hazards you may imagine, I was ridding with a friend and he was on his bike and we where able to stay in contact for around 10 hours ( we got lost at one point).
I am really happy with the product it cuts out all interference or sound that is not your voice beautifully to the point if that even if the intercoms are open and the other person is not speaking you would think the Uclear sistem is off.
It's just solid, easy to install and in my case it kept on working after 10 hours of riding in all sorts of conditions ( rain, heat, altitude etc) specially when we needed it the most at 8 in the evening under the rain in heavy mountain traffic and the other rider had problems with is visor fogging up so I had to act as guide riding as the lead bike, it was very important to have been able to communicate, from one motorcycle to another.

Good product, but keep expectations real
I purchased the U-Clear HBC200 Dual set just prior to a 2300 mile ride across Kansas, into Colorado and through the Rockies, so I was able to use it in varying conditions ranging from calm, clear and cold to sweltering heat with 40 mph wind gusts. I feel I tested the product thoroughly, with the exception of using it for listening to music. I'd already read what so many others had written about the system having little to no bass response and how thin music sounded through it, so I opted to not even try that. I kept my use of it pretty much as a two-up comm's system and also I paired it with my iPhone 5 so I could answer calls while en route. I never had the opportunity to connect with other riders nor use the multi-hop technology, so I cannot really comment on that either.
Bottom-line, my experience was that as long as I was under speeds of 60-65 with very little wind gusts, it perfomed well. Riding at speeds higher than that though, or where wind gusts were high, it was a frustrating experience. In either of those conditions my wife and I could tell that the other was saying something, but there was no way we could understand each other. And we both wear full helmets with full shields, so I don't believe excess helmet noise should have been a factor. I repositioned and checked the speakers/mics positioning at least a half-dozen times to make sure that was not the problem as well. But I will say when we were under 60 and there were no wind gusts we could hear each other with clarity. Same with the iPhone. At slower speeds I was able to make and answer calls, and the other party always told me they could hear me clearly. But I answered one call, for example, as I was leaving Denver one morning and rolling around 70 mph on a clear, non-windy day, and had to pull off the road to continue the conversation. The caller said they just could not hear me.
The install was easy, and the pairing with each other and with my iPhone were effortless, exactly as explained in the manual, and not having cords to mess with was a big plus. There were times we seemed to 'disconnect' from each other, but if I pushed the Up button for a couple of seconds we always seem to connect back up.
Overall, I think the unit is solid, holds a charge well, and is easy to operate. Though it is a bit overpriced in my opinion. I wish it performed as good at higher speeds when more noise is present, but that's why I say - keep your expectations real. If you do you'll probably be satisfied with the unit.

I just bought three bikes for me and my two sons, they talked me into buying the communication device. The product was better than expected. Sound is quite clear even at speed. I love the voice activated feature to answer my phone and it is nice to have some music playing while riding. Now I'm spoiled because when I mount up it's just a simple double tap on the Uclear and my music starts playing and I'm off. I'll be buying another two pack probably this week. I ride a Kawasaki Ninja 650, my sons have Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR250

Uncomfortable, poor sound quality
I bought the U-CLEAR HBC200 two-pack with two purposes in mind. First, I wanted to listen to tunes from my Android phone while riding my motorcycle. The second, lessor reason was to chat with my wife on her bike.
Unfortunately, the headphones didn't fit well in my Scorpion helmet. I think the extruding microphone part was the main problem. I crammed them in as well as I could, but when I put on the helmet the headphones smashed against my ears painfully.
Although they hurt, I took a ride to try them out. Compared with earphones, the sound quality was very poor. The volume must be cranked up to a high level to make out the tune, and the sound was very tinny. I gave up part way through the ride and removed them because the pressure against my ears and shreaking volume was too much to deal with.
The controls on the outside of the helmet seem to work fine and are manageable while wearing gloves. Too bad the fit and sound quality are so bad.

I'm happy with this product
This is the first comm system I have used so I have no point of reference in comparing it to other. I bought these to coach my lady and hear her concerns while we are riding, she just started riding. so for this it is working great the range is as advertised however we have not had a 3rd or more on with us yet. I was always against listening to music while riding, but with this unit i can hear music clearly, and still hear my bike and my surroundings. It is very different than a set of earbuds. So I am now enjoying tunes while riding without feeling compromise of safety. So if you want to be boom less(I did) and are willing to spend a couple extra bucks this is a nice unit.
I have only had them out for good weather so I cannot yet make comment on the rain proof .
