ALMOST perfect
Got these for Christmas.
Music quality and clarity are great. Only drawback is the lack of bass, but that was expected. Communication between the two is excellent, and easy to establish and end (as long as you remember what buttons to hold down). Buttons to me are actually easier to use/find with gloves on as opposed to without.
Phone calls I have a bit of an issue with (but it may be a setting on my phone). Person on the other end hears me great, though a bit muffled due to the proximity of my mouth to the front of the helmet, but there are no other sounds heard by the other person except my voice (no engine or wind noise). Only thing when it switches from music to a phone call, the volume of the call is a bit less, which may just be my settings on the phone. Otherwise this thing is great. The fact that it was boom-less sold me and I plan to have this thing for a long while. The fact that you can just buy the speaker kit alone will let this system go through multiple helmets. On my Scorpion exo1000 after installing I do get a bit more wind in the helmet at highway speeds but not too much to be annoying.

Great Comunictions
Very easy to install. Works great. Love not having a mic in my face.

Not so good... Sound is great but lacks a lot in function.
I just recieved my HBC200 Dual Force. Installation was a breeze even the pairing went well but after pairing I did realize Each Rider or passenger must have their own music source such as a phone or mp3 player, they can not both (rider and passenger) listen to the same music source such as 1 phone. Immediately upon usage I realized the bigest issue. You can't set them up to listen to music and allow the intercom to used and then switch back to music without actually reaching to the unit and first pausing your music then switching to intercom, then when complete reaching to the unit to switch back to music and then un pausing the music. All to just go through the same process to talk to your passenger again next time. I was previously using a ChatterBox and it would allow you to listen to music until the intercom was activated either through a PTT or Vox it would then switch back to music when the conversation was completed. I have spoke with UCLEAR support and they verified this unit will not work that way and requires manually switching between intercom and music by the rider each and every time. This is unacceptable and I'll be returning my units immediately.

Excellent coms system
This system is excellent, it took around 5 minutes to install in each helmet. The only caution I would have is if you helmet doesn't have cut outs for the speakers, as they a quite thick.
I haven't used this with a mobile phone as I think thats too much distraction for riding but have used it as a coms system riding with my wife. which is very clear no messy boom to get in the way either

Outstanding bike to bike communications
Talked my riding partner into an upgrade from our older communications equipment to Uclear HBC200, so was hoping for the best. This is one of the few times a product has really exceeded my expectations. Made our older equipment seem like junk. Installation was a piece of cake, completely non-intrusive in and on the helmet. Crisp duplex, natural conversation at 80mph +. Voice pickup instantaneous, far better than I had experienced previously. Noise filtering also far beyond anything I have experienced, truly state of the art. Full bluetooth phone integration with correct protocol interrupts. Out of range at 3/4 mile?, make a cell call to your partner from your helmet.

U -Clear HBC200
I like the built in mike in the ear phones but the sound quality is just average. The blue tooth phone part works well but the other person I am talking to says it sound like an echo chamber but still very understandable. The buttons are not that easy to use wearing gloves but are functional.

Excellent
Took this out over the weekend and it was great. I used the set with a passenger. We both enjoyed the Uclear and keeps the passenger entertain.
Sound:
Anything under 65mph is very clear, over 65 it gets a bit noisy because of the wind noise. The wind is not coming from the headset itself but from the helmet, so depending on your helmet the unit could sound a lot better or a lot worse. My Arai is known for wind noise. We both had full face helmet on. The music syncs perfectly with my phone. Music sounds OK. If you are expecting great sounding music with deep bass, this is not the device for it but it does the job and keeps you entertain.
Wind:
I was afraid that the unit will create wind turbulence and create a lot of wind noise. However, that was not the case. My helmet made the same amount of noise with or without it. The unit is small so if you are not constantly playing with it, you would not notice it was there (at least I didn't notice). I read that the volume is too loud but I think those reviewers set their volume on the highest setting. Sides, I rather have it too loud than too low since you can just lower the volume.
Installation:
Installed the set on an Arai RX-Q and a Shoei RF1100. They were both quite easy. Every helmet is made differently so you have to look first and make sure you know where you want the headset to be placed. I mocked it up with some tape and tested it out. Once everything sounds good, I then proceed to use the velcro.
Unit Construction:
The construction is solid and the buttons are not too small with gloves on. Just play with it before you go on a ride and get used to the locations of the button. I personally wouldn't recommend messy around with the buttons too much while riding (a little PSA). I didn't have a problem with the rubber membrane that others were talking about. It didn't feel cheap.
Final word - although a bit pricey we both thought it was worth every penny and made the ride a lot more entertaining.

Product works great and service even better
Hi all, I purchased the dual pack last year in September and have really enjoyed using the set. I did need to adjust the placement of the speakers/mic once to get the best sound and once I did this I found a marked improvement in quality so don't be afraid to move them around and experiment if you aren't getting the sound quality you want. External noise on a motorbike is always going to cause a problem with any of these devices so if you can minimize noise by getting a good helmet and wear some ear plugs to cut back on some of the rough background noise you will find this product shine. Works great and easily syncs up to my Android phone where I can use google navigation , accept phone calls, listen to online radio , etc etc. But one thing I do want to say about UClear is the service. Recently I required some new clips for my second helmet and UClear sent them out to me straight away. Many thanks. Service level is fantastic. Thank You UClear!!!
