Great Boots I have done about 1300 miles in these boots so far and they are comfortable. They are not showing any signs of wear at all. A few days I have worn them to work, cross between in office and walking around at client sites. I never had any foot pain unlike my usual work shoes. I did notice that my heal would go slightly numb on the first few rides wearing these. I put a gel insole and this alleviated this issue instantly. I bought these in a size 12. I usual wear a size 13 in Puma shoes, The size 12 fit perfectly, which is rare because I have a slightly wider foot then what most shoes are made for. I highly recommend these to my friends. Perfect for my needs This is the perfect boot for anyone with wide feet, I typically wear size 12 and I had to order 12 1/2 so go 1/2 size up. July 6, 2015
quite pleased with the service and the boots The boots are comfortable and fit well. Light in weight and stiff enough for support, but flexible to walk in. Size 43 fits my shoe size of 10 perfectly. June 8, 2015
So bad this shoes is the worst shoes I ever have, Uncomfortable and the quality is poor. I felt two times because of this shoes. It is not good for wet floors and raining areas. I do not recommend this product AT ALL. June 1, 2015
Great Boot! Great protection, CE, from a shoe style boot. Lightweight and comfortable, though a little stiff in the footbed. Has a removeable insole. I will probably switch it out for a self moldable footbed for greater comfort. May 10, 2015
Super well made - high quality - great value boot. I'm a new again rider, after 25 years absent so I am gearing up this season, and needed boots. I did not want anything large and clunky as I am into feeling the pegs and shifter with every move. These boots fit the bill and more. I cannot believe the quality and protection for the price. I tried them on first with some summer weight socks, and then with some heavier wool socks. Both fit well and feel great. The only thing that could use improvement is the support in the foot bed. I prefer a decent arch in footwear. This boots seems more towards the flat side. I just added a quality insert as I do to most of my shoes - issue solved. Also, I was not sure I would like the fit because I do not like my toes squeezed, and these boots have a pointed toe, sort of like some nasty office shoes I use to wear (ouch). The toe on this boot is great and super comfortable not to mention reinforced for superior protection. I usually wear a 10.5 US medium width. I always increase to an 11 for EU sizes or whatever an 11 equates to, and the fit is spot on. These boots have already made me a TCX fan. No more Machu Picchu hiking boots for me! I have to go now, and hop on the bike. May 6, 2015
No More Sneakers No excuses any more, if you ride in sneakers stop it. For not much more than the cost of high-tops you can ride in a shoe that fits great and protects you if you go down. I wear size 10 1/2 D and got the size 44 and they fit great. I would say if you are in between sizes go smaller as they are a bit large to size. I really like TCX brand and would buy these again. Very Comfortable Boot Super Comfy,Looks Great,Sole of the boot sticks to the road like glue. I wear size 13 in all my shoes but read a few reviews that these run a little long. Ordered the 12.5 because they were in stock. They fit me perfect.Comfortable enough to wear all day long. May 1, 2015

F B: I was looking for a boot that provided good protection at a fair price that would look good on a variety of bikes as I have several. Very happy with my purchase. They are pretty comfortable but can see them getting a bit warm in the Florida summer. Will definitely be looking at TCX for a more breathable pair early next year. Oct 30, 2014
Martin T: Seems like a good mix of features for the street - clean look, not too bulky, no awkward stitching or sliders that appear out of place, high enough to protect ankles, waterproof and has shift protector on left foot
Hopefully i am right and it looks okay with jeans or even khakis at work if i don't have time to switch shoes
Wish they were zip-up though for easier on/off

Neo J: These are my first dedicated motorcycle boots. I wanted a good all-around boots for around-the-town riding and long-distance commuting, preferably suitable for a year-round riding in Texas. I didn't want a full-length boots for convenience's sake. Also I didn't want riding shoes for reduced protection. TCX X-Square EVO WP boots seem to fall squarely in the middle of all my criteria. Even though it's a pre-order and I haven't read any other reviews, I trust RevZilla's excellent customer service. Nov 15, 2013

Harold L: balajr r, I wear a U.S. Size 10.5 , in medium width. I bought these in the size 11 and the length is perfect. They fit a little snug compared to my street shoes, but they are still very comfortable to ride and to walk in. I think the size 9 would be spot on for your narrow, 8.5 foot. I'm very happy with these shoes. Jul 12, 2014

Loren B: I am 8.5 wide also. Ordered the 8.5 and it was kinda snug fitting the first couple of time they were worn. Fits perfectly now. Can wear them all day with a lot of walking and they feel good. They are a little warm being waterproof but I also live in Texas and its pretty hot in the summer. Jul 15, 2014

Dennis L: I have a high instep and generally need a wider shoe.
I got the 8 1/2 based on other reviews of these shoes not being narrow.
They fix comfortably on me.
I would recommend the 8 1/2's base on your description.
And Revzilla's return policy is your safety net.

James C: I'd go with the 9. While the TCX has larger toe box than most there's nothing worse than a tight boot. Jul 13, 2014

Marie M: I measure a 10.5 and got an 11. The fit is great and I know I will have room for thicker socks Jul 14, 2014

A shopper asked: Hi,

I'm interested in short boots/riding shoes. What do you recommend?

I'm leaning forwards the TCX X-Square EVO WP Boots:

My Specs:

Bike: BMW R1200 GS
Purpose: causal riding/commuting to work
Foot: US - 10.5, wide D-E, high Instep

I like the style, but I’m a little worried about the wide and stiffness for walking...

Thanks,
Scott

Taylor W: I have always had wide feet and have had problems getting shoes in the past. That being said, these are pretty much perfect. I have no problems commuting to and from work, and I've even ended up wearing them almost all day while at work. I normally change into sneakers because I work at a standing desk, but on days where I can sit some I tend to forget that I'm wearing motorcycle boots. They're nice and comfy. Apr 4, 2014

Tomas D: Hi Scott, I ride an R1100RSL and they are great. I wear a size 11 and they are good for walking. Not super stiff and look good with jeans.

If you are not happy with them, they very good with exchanges.

I hope this helps. Be safe!
