Waterproof Fits a little narrow on he foot. Love the Velcro and shift pad. April 29, 2015
Excellent casual riding boots. I've had these boots for 3 years now. They feel like casual shoes and fit like a glove. Very easy to walk around in and provide excellent shifting feel. They don't wear too easily either. My only complaint is that the laces are a bit too long and that they could be slightly easier to put on and take off. April 3, 2015
Great pair of riding boots I bought these for commuting and casual riding. Awesome boots just high enough for decent protection along with easy on and off. They get comments from a lot of people on how good they look and i actually got some of the folks that i ride with to get a pair too. They fit wide feet and have a decent amount of support also so feel free to get a pair and not worry if you happen to have wide feet and high arches. March 19, 2015
Great shoe for a great price I purchased these boots while overseas. At the closeout price, they were cheaper to ship here than to buy boots in this country. Initially I was going to go for size EU38 (about US 5), but after reading the sizing chart I chose the EU39 (about US 6). In standard shoes I am a women's 7.5. I should have stuck with the 38 as this pair of 39 have a little too much toe room and it took a bit of getting used to. For the cost of postage to return them, I decided to make do. These boots are great for commuting to work on my CBR and even for wearing around at work all day. I love the bit of re-enforced ankle protection. Would almost like something done to have a little less of the laces to contend with, but the velcro thing helps hold this in for the most part. Main complaint really would just be sizing. Otherwise, I'd buy a second pair no problem especially at the clearance price! Awesome! September 23, 2014
Great boot!!! This boot is very comfortable to walk in and especially for what it's made for, to ride in. The velcro strap is nice to keep your laces in place just in case they were to catch onto anything on your bike. Very durable and I would highly recommend them. August 6, 2014
Great pair of boots, super comfortable Super super fast shipping. Second pair of shoes I buy. Will keep coming back June 30, 2014
It's just right for me I got this because I heard from a friend that this style of boots make you feel the gear levers better. So when I got it, I rode for a bit and it does. It also feels very comfortable while riding. And, the closeout deal made it even better. :) June 9, 2014
Great Deal Great protection for the commuter or casual rider. Does fit great and is very comfortable. Although as temps are getting higher, the shoes do get a little warm. Very happy and upgraded protection from wearing regular sneakers. June 4, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Shiryn R: Because the look and price were just right. Jun 19, 2015
Doug J: Good price for my first set of boots. Still wearing these!! May 11, 2015
Neftali O: For protection. There is a great benefit in having motorcycle specific footwear. May 6, 2015
Wayne S: Great price and awesome protection, I have owned 2 pairs and will continue with this style and make. Great product all round. Apr 14, 2015
Royce K: Because I was new to riding and realized I needed some foot protection but didn't want to spend a lot of money.. That said, I bought real moto boots 2 months later and haven't worn these since. Protection is just not there, but I am an AGATT guy, so your protection goals may be different. On the plus side, they were the most comfortable boot I tried on by a long shot. Jan 11, 2015
Patrick C: Needed a shoe that was comfortable enough to wear all day, that has good level of protection. Really like it! Dec 1, 2014
Brad H: fantastic boots. Can't recommend them enough. Sep 25, 2014
Kerry B: Lightweight and much cooler for summer riding. My winter boots were torturous in the heat and made it almost impossible to ride for any length of time in hot weather. Aug 29, 2014
robert w: run a bit big... good shoe none the less. Aug 25, 2014
Mark L: Wanted a more casual shoe for around town riding. They are CE1 and flow a lot of air.

Really like them for the purpose I got them for. Would love to have race boots that fit like this.
Jul 31, 2014
Brian L: Coolest looking shoe but I was really not diggin the soles. Way too stiff, no arch support, and very slippery :/ Jul 21, 2014
Wayne J: Love the fit of TCX boots. A size 10 is spot-on for me, and they offer great protection for the money. Can't go wrong. Jul 15, 2014
Amanda G: I chose these boots because at the clearance price, add the international shipping in, and it works out to being cheaper than buying ANY other motorcycle boot or shoe in this country (Australia). Also, what appears to be my size was in stock. Again over here, finding a boot small enough that isn't a womens shoe accented by swirly stuff and/or fuscia, is very difficult. We have very limited options for female gear and mens more varied style options are never small enough for me. Jul 12, 2014
bryan r: They were on clearance and I'm new to buying motorcycle boots. So far they're quite comfortable. Reinforced sole, ankle protectors, but that's about it. Everything else I'd put on par w a good pair of work/hiking boots. May 16, 2014
K U: Light weight and very stylish as well. Lots of support for ankles and lots of air flow in hot weather. Very nice boots. May 11, 2014
Richard T: Great brand. Wanted a light weight boot for summer riding. Great Price! May 6, 2014
Tom M: Great reviews, alternative to boots. May 3, 2014
Kalan N: Good price and nice look Apr 7, 2014
Evan T: I bought a pair of TCX race boots about three weeks ago and was impressed by there quality, so I chose the same brand as my boots for commuting. Plus they were on close out. Mar 24, 2014
Alexander T: Looks like a good inexpensive beginner boot. If quality is good and site service is good, I will purchase more products. Oh, and the product reviews and videos on this site are fantastic! Keep up the good work! Mar 21, 2014
U E: I use to ride in the city (commuting i guess.) so wear boots isn't a great idea, since i would look weird in my college walking with it. Mar 21, 2014
Paul K: Quality product Mar 17, 2014
Maurice B: The price is right, looks great, good reviews. Mar 13, 2014
Wayne F: price point, style, great reviews, better than my runners, fast shipping !! Mar 11, 2014
Earnestine H: This boot is the most comfortable boot I've ever had on my feet. I am on a motorcycle range alot in the summer coaching. After 10 hours on asphalt, my legs and feet do not hurt. My other other riding boots would have my legs and feeting hurting to the point I could hardly walk. I am so upset they are discontinuing this boot. Mar 11, 2014
Ershaad B: Seems to me the right compromise between protection and daily use. I will be using this while commuting to work and it looks like any other shoe under a pair of jeans while providing more protection than a regular shoe. Mar 11, 2014
Roy P: it's a very good deal...you won't get this kind of discount from others. only from RevZilla!!! Mar 10, 2014
Matt R: They were the perfect blend of protection and value for commuting. Mar 7, 2014
reuben w: i am a beginner so a cheap boot to start with seems like the better choice just in chase i don't enjoy riding i wont feel like i wasted my money of something expensive over $100 dollars Mar 6, 2014
kenny c: easy to see this is a comfortable looking riding boot... Mar 3, 2014
Nigel H: I wanted a boot that was comfortable all day, stylish, and had great protection for riding. Mar 3, 2014
Obed J: Need a shoe that the gear shifter wouldn't bother me. Feb 27, 2014
Jerald W: The boot looks to be real comfortable. The reviews gave me the confidence that this is a must buy, especially because of the close out price. Most riding boots are to stiff for my liking, but this boot looks like when you break it in, it will be flexible. Feb 23, 2014
Cory V: Great price for comfort and protection.. easy choice! Feb 9, 2014
Marc C: I wanted an entry-level shoe/boot to complete a Basic Rider's course, and the TCX line looks great! I plan on upgrading to the EVO once I have my first bike! Thanks, Anthony, for your commentary! Jan 17, 2014
Arkadiy B: great value/style combination and TCX's quality is VERY VERY Good! Jan 2, 2014
Allison H: Air flow for very hot texas summer - price was right. Nov 15, 2013
Deb M: Great looking shoes with riding protection Nov 1, 2013
Box Cargo - Hugo Higuera S: A GOOD ITEM, Oct 29, 2013
DONNA C: These boots look ultra smart and stylish and I can not find any boots I like for a female hence buying this pair. They are also Italian made and have had lots of excellent reviews.
Here's hoping they fit me now!!
Oct 22, 2013
Ryan K: I wanted solid boots that i could have in casual environments. These had the style, ratings and totally fit the bill. Oct 10, 2013
Matt E: Because the SIDI New York's were out of stock for my size. I wear a 10 1/2 to 11, if you happen to have some in. -thanks Aug 18, 2013
A shopper asked: I like the fit and style of the women's TCX X-square boots I have. But they wore out in a location exactly where the men's version has reinforcement - at the toe and shifting areas. However they did last me 15 months. I'm thinking of switching to the men's because they might be more durable, but am worried about the fit. Recommendations?

My current TCX size in the lady X-square is EU 40, USA 7.

A shopper asked: I ride a gsxr and the shifter tears my boots on top all the time will these be okay? Will they tear within a month or 2 of constant commuting? Oct 23, 2014

Mario M: Hi, I've owned my boots nearly two years, but they are only used for 7 months a year and several times per month during those 7 months. That said, they are extremely comfortable and well fitted to my foot, in some shoes I take a D to E width and this boot can accommodate various sock thickness while providing the same comfort. Regarding the shifter, I have used the boots for riding a 1974 Honda 550 Four, a 2010 BMW G 650GS, and a 2013 Honda CB1100 and I have no shifter wear, but again I'm not daily riding and I'm riding a more upright style. I tried several boots locally before ordering these, I think these boots are excellent for the cost and would highly recommend them. Good luck in your search. Oct 26, 2014

Hilesh G: Hi, these boots are great and slim enough in the front to not get torn up by the shifter. I ride a duc 1199, the shifter space is narrow, but I've had no problems with these shoes. Tcx are molded just right for walking around too. Having said that, you mentioned commuting. Bear in mind these shoes re not waterproof and have the suede material across. Lot of their surface, so may not be the best to keep your feet dry/ daily commuting. I usually ride to work on Fridays and these work just fine, including walking. Around the office. Best in fall, spring and summer. Def not winter. Tpx does make other more durable/waterproof boots. Just my 2c Oct 23, 2014

Donald J: I don't ride with these much but I bought them for day to day wear because I have the X-Cube which is the high top version of these. This was their 3 rd summer and 30,000 miles and they look practically new. I do split time with heavier Alpine Stars though. I think they are both great and very comfortable. Oct 24, 2014

Tyson A: I have worn these for about 15k miles and they are still in great shape. There are reinforcements over the shift points on the boot that help keep you from tearing them up. Oct 23, 2014

A S asked: how does this compare to the sidi mythos gore tex? i like both of these just dont which one to get! Aug 23, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Neftali O: I wish I could give you a side-by-side comparison but I can't. But what I can give you is my (2.5 yrs) experience with the TCX so far.

Pros: Comfortable to wear to and from work. Price is right for foot protection. Great tack tile feel at the shifter. Basic but good starting point for foot protection. Good airflow. Water resistance (about an 1 hr - 1.5 hrs) finally ... Looks!

Cons: The only real con for me is - it's only basic protection.

Overall: A great starter boot. Comfortable to wear all day, low price point, lightweight and they look great.

Good luck!

Wayne J: Not really a fair comparison. The Sidi boots are Gore-tex waterproof, while the TCX are not water-proof at all, and the Sidi is more than twice the price. Given all that, I'm on my second pair of X-Square boots and I love them. A 44 is a perfect fit for my 10.5 Wide feet, very comfortable, easy to work the shifter (unlike a lot of other boots I have tried, including my new TCX X-Rap boots). At the price, especially, I would recommend the X-Squares; if you have money to burn, try the Sidi's. Oct 1, 2014

John W: Love these boots! Both my wife and I have them, and they are worth every penny! Fit like a glove, super light, comfortable, airy (you don't want to wear them below about 60 degrees for too long!)... I will buy more when these ones wear out! Sep 8, 2014

Kaiser C: I like it, but would prefer the version 2 instead. that are Much more modern looking.

However, it is a great shoe no doubt.

A shopper asked: I normally wear a 12. I tried on a pair of Alpinestars fastlane shoes and would actually be a 13 in them. What size do you recommend for these? Mar 12, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
jaywags81: I would ditch the US size and look up your euro size. It does make a difference when buying european boots. If you have a wide foot, I would go up a size (in euro size). Each euro boot maker is different in sizing (just a little), so you would have to try on just to make sure. When you try on, be happy with the fit of the boot. Any doubt and send it back. That is the best advice I can give, hope it helps. Apr 29, 2012
Reply to jaywags81 Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: TCX boots generally tend to fit true to size or a bit large. The Alpinestars Fastlane fit small which is why you had to try a larger size. If you wear a size 12, we would advise you order your TCX boots in that same size. Apr 30, 2012
Reply to RevZilla Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Paul31: I own a few Alpinestars boots and riding shoes, they seem to run small. These however run true. I normally wear 9.5 shoes so I ordered size 43 and they fit perfect. The width is a little wider and that helps me alot. Apr 15, 2013

A shopper asked: Is it on a similar level as the Astars Fastlane?? Apr 14, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
sland165: Yes it is on a similar level, I actually prefer the TCX over th Astars as IMO they are more comfortable, transfer vibrations better and are great to just wear. May 25, 2013
Reply to sland165 Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Fastlane Shoes and the X-Square boots will share similar heel support/protection. This is the case for most riding shoes. Apr 19, 2013

A shopper asked: I Bit confuse with the sizing of the boots. I wear shoes or boots size 8 (UK size) or size 42 (EU size) or size 9 (US size). Can you advise me which size I need to choose for size 42 (EU), 8.5 or 9? Thanks Jan 10, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
jaywags81: I would advice going with the 9 (US). I say that because it is better to be just a little bit bigger in fit than tighter. I think the 9 (US) would be a 43 (EU). Not entirely sure. But Rezilla has a awesome return policy, so take a shot at what you feel would be the better fit. Apr 29, 2012
Reply to jaywags81 Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
bimmerdog: I would recommend the 43 in your case. Remember you can always make your foot a little bigger (a thicker sock) but you can't make your foot smaller. Jan 10, 2012

A shopper asked: I own a pair of these and was wondering what length are the laces? I need to replace mine, because the outer black material was ripped and fell off. The actual white lace inside is stretched out now. Jun 29, 2015
