David H: Brand, light weight, vented, positive Revzilla reviews, on sale.Apr 23, 2015
Hugo H: Sydney summers get really hot, and these look like the best combination of airflow and protection for longer faster rides. They complement my low-rise riding sneakers which I use for around town.Apr 21, 2015
Juan A: Vented boots with good protectionApr 17, 2015
Joel S: Price and video recommendationMar 24, 2015
David B: Had them before. Loved them. Take them touring as back ups and to wear walking around. Had a crash one time while on tour up in the mountains and bruised my foot badly. Took my touring boots off and couldn't get my swollen foot back in the boot. Used my TCX Cubes but had to cut them to get my swollen foot in. Insurance paid for a new pair!! I Love theses light comfy boots!Sep 3, 2014
Lyn L: Needed a sturdy mesh boot, and this got great reviews.Jun 12, 2014
JONATHAN N: Fit and comfort superb. Need something lower than my regular touring boots for in/around riding in my armored/kevlar jeans that's also easy to walk in.Jun 8, 2014
T W: My first riding boot, so the price is right. Otherwise I wanted a boot that had summer comfort first and foremost (I don't want to buy gear I don't want to wear), and a fair amount of protection. This boot appears to be a healthy medium, maybe airing more on the side of comfort, but they had a "crash tested" review that helped with my confidenceJun 1, 2014
David B: My second pair. Loved my first ones for hot weather riding but they got torn in a crash. They saved my foot which I was sure had broken bones but great protection helped me walk away.May 20, 2014
R M R: Venting and laces - summer boot w/some ankle/shin protection for around town rides. Good fit.May 15, 2014
Hubert S: Looking for something that vents well for southwest Arizona summers.Apr 14, 2014
John D: Full lightweight breathable boot with style.Apr 3, 2014
A shopper asked:what is the difference between the regular x-cube and the x-cube air?Feb 3, 2014
Brad W:Thank you John... I will order these tomorrow. I see they also have the same boot but not an "air". Do you know if it fits the same? I would guess it would be for cooler days but I see mesh on this one as well.
A shopper asked:How does the shoe fit for size? Is it true to the chart? I wear a 12 shoe but have found 12 1/2 riding shoes/boots to be more comfortable because a lot of them tend to run small.May 9, 2014
Mark W:I found the shoe runs pretty true to size. I wear a 10.5 to 11. Most of the time an 11. I ordered the 11 and they fit great. They look like a pretty heavy boot but I find them light weight and very comfortable ( I did put a pair of gel insoles in them) and I love the air flows through them keeping my feet cool. If I were you I would go for the 12.5 an add a gel insole.
John P:I'm a 9 EEE and a 43 euro, and I was surprised to see how roomy the shoe was, considering it's svelte appearance. I suggest you go with whatever your true euro size is. My best guess for you is size 46 euro, and if that doesn't fit, you can send it back for 46.5.May 9, 2014
Piotr T:In my experience, they run true to size, but require some break-in/wear-in as they do feel a bit snug initially, straight out of the box. However, some people do prefer a more loose feel, in which case ordering half a size larger might be the right thing to do.May 9, 2014
Michael L:In my experience the X-Cube Air Boots are true to size. I wear a 10 1/2 to 11 in shoes. I have these in 10 1/2 and they fit well, just slightly snug. A pair of TCX waterproof leather boots in an 11 were too big on me.May 9, 2014
Troy C:Bought these but was weary of European sizes... I wear a 10 1/2 American and the 44 fit perfectly. Air flow is great! Protection seems good but a little difficult to walk around because of the support.May 9, 2014
Michael S:I usually wear an 11-12 4E depending on brand and found a 46 was too large. I shipped them back for a 45 and it fit perfectly. They're very wide for an Italian boot and fit my feet very well.May 9, 2014
John D:The boots have labels which read: CE, EN13634 ; 2010, 2-2-1. These are my first REAL pair of riding boots. Ive always just worn my law enforcement boots for either cruising or sport riding. I really like them as they are very comfortable and you can walk around for extended periods. They run pretty true to size. I wear an 11.5 in just about everything and mine are 12 and fit pretty darn good. The only gripe I have and I just found out while looking at the boot to answer your question; the boots are made in China. I do not like the thought of buying Chinese made products because we are only strengthening their economy and assisting them in reaching their goal of global domination.Jun 19, 2014
I wear a 11.5 and bought the 47 just incase they ran small, as ive had this issue in the past. they don't and they turned out much bigger than expected. My advise, go for a 45 if you like a snug fit or 46 if you prefer more room for an insole.
CHARLES H:I wear a 10 1/2 in Nike and Asics shoes and in most shoes for that matter. My foot width is borderline C/D. I bought the 44 in the TCX x-cubed which are supposed to be for size 10 American and the boots are borderline too big in length and width. If I had been in a store I would have tried on a pair of 43's. These boots run big compared to the size chart. If I were you I would get the 45's.Jul 17, 2014
Daniel M:I wear size 12 in shoes but have skinny feet. I have Cube Air and another set of TCX boots in 45 and they fit great. Based on the variety of success in the reviews I'd guess that it depends on your foot's width. Jul 17, 2014
Michael m:I got the 44 and wear a size 11 US. They fit tight at first but conform nicely. So far mine always fit tight when first put on but always conform in 10 min or so. With size 11.5 US I would try 45s first.Jul 17, 2014
Formerly known as Oxtar, TCX Boots are Italian made and manufactured in European sizes, so make sure to look at the size chart below to see the US conversions. We have found them to run typically true to size, but in our experience they typically will fit people with a wider foot better
