Great Street Boot
Living in the Phoenix area we experience warm to hot weather throughout much of the year and a full on track boot, as nice as that level of protection may be, is just not always required and is often an uncomfortable option with our warm to hot environment.
So, I set out to find a good compromise between protection and comfort, and I took a chance on the TCX X-Cube Air's (my boot choice is typically Sidi) and now that I have had a chance to give them a ride I have to say that I am quite pleased and happy with this choice.
These are more than just a riding shoe, offering slightly-above-the-ankle protection that is just not usually there in a riding shoe, and typically requires having a full riding boot. They are extremely light, they do flow a ton of air, comfortable to ride and walk around with, and look great on and off the bike.
Again, keep in mind these are NOT high-performance riding boots, and they are not intended for aggressive riding situations. But, for casual rides where full track gear is neither required or desired, these are spot-on in my opinion. Highly recommended, especially for warm to hot weather conditions.

My First Motorcycle Riding Shoe
Gave it 4 out of 5 because this is my first riding boots and cant compare it to anything else. Plus its too early to give it 5 stars need to do more riding first.

So I got a chance to use these over the weekend (150 mile trip) and pretty much spent all day in them (9am-7pm) and they were only noticeable because it was my first day wearing. Takes a little getting use to as i rode in high top sneakers before but later on in the day I forgot that i even had them on.
I didn't experience any discomfort except for my feet being a little warm while off the bike, definitely glad i purchased the Air Version. You can definitely feel the air going through the mesh while riding.
Someone else mentioned this and i guess TCX may have mixed up some measurements lol. The laces are way longer than they need to be and the Velcro strap could use some length. I was able to use the strap with out any issue of it squeezing my ankle or coming undone. I double knotted the laces and tucked them inside. Around my foot where the strap is located measures 8.5 inches. The strap was pretty much the exact length needed so I the velcro pieces matched exactly there's still room to go tighter or looser if you need too. I guess maybe if you have "kankles" you might have trouble getting the strap to stay put =/
I'd say the boot is about 8.5 inches tall from the floor to the top. Just in case you want to pair them with knee/shin gaurds.

I wear a size 9.5 to 10 US depending on shoe brand/style. eg size 10US in the Puma Drift Kat 4 with thin socks, size 9.5 in Puma Liga shoes with regular socks, size 10US in the Vans High Top with regular socks, i manage to wear two socks into the colder months when riding.
I ordered a size 43 in the TCX boots and they fit well with a little wiggle room not sure if a size 42 would be too small or 42.5 if there were half sizes. Maybe with some thicker socks it would be snug (for late spring/early fall) but its okay for me since I don't like when my shoes are too tight and my toes cant really move.

I'm happy with the purchase and hope I never have to try out how protective they really are.

Hope some of the little details help.
Will try to update as time goes by.

Very good street boot
Air flow is better than I expected. I like a roomy fit and thought the 46 was perfect; I normally wear an 11.5 shoe. Quality appears good but I haven't worn it much yet. The previous casual moto boots I tried on could be pulled off without much effort, but these fit securely and comfortably. My only complaint would be that the inner material feels coarse against bare skin, but this is not a real concern and is easily solved with higher socks.

Great for summer and wide feet
I usually wear an 11-12 4E running shoe depending on brand and a 46 was too large. A 45 fits perfectly, plenty of room in the toe box width, rest of the boot is really comfy too.

The laces it comes with are a mile long, so I replaced them with some lock laces and I highly recommend doing so.

The perforated armor with mesh covering produces loads of airflow and can be worn at work at the office without my feet sweating.

Comfy enough to walk around with for a while, although I don't recommend wearing them all day at work because the armor around the toe box is so stiff that you can't move your toes up and down very much. This makes for excellent riding, just not comfy walking shoes.

The shoe's sole becomes ice when it gets wet. I rode through a puddle the other day and couldn't keep my feet on my pegs until they dried off.

Overall a very good boot for the price. I ride a 2013 Ducati Monster 696 and the TCX X-Cube is what Ducati re-brands and sells, which is what brought me to this one. My only other complaint is a side zipper would be nice for easy of putting them on and off.

Very stylish Italian summer boots
Upon opening the box, I was immediately struck by the design and stylishness of the boots.I was very pleased to feel the quality construction when I removed them from the packaging.
They fit my wide foot comfortably, and vented very well with my Klim vented socks in 90" temps from Napa to Sacramento on 80. I am extremely pleased with my summer boots choice.

Protection and Airflow
These are just what I was looking for to ride in those hot afternoons. I have ridden with them in 90 degrees F and you can feel the air blowing through them. Protection around the ankles is very good, I would have given them a five for protection if they were a taller boot but that isn't what I was looking for anyway. Great value for the money. Ducati sells these with their logo and I am sure you would pay more for them.

Great product for the price! Sizing is accurate, but feels narrow.
These are a really solid pair of boots. Protection feels adequate ( more so than a riding sneaker, aka TCX Chuck Taylor -looking shoe). I wear these daily for city commuting, and change at work. You can walk around in them a bit, but they are fairly stiff around the ankle. Good for protection - not good to go strolling. Great airflow while moving at 40-50 mph, although they get a bit hot in traffic, as to be expected. The upper part of the boot is usually wet with sweat after a ride. The foot box gets a good amount of air movement, but the upper boot around the ankle does not. I am happy with these boots, and don't think i could have done better for the price.

Exceeded my expectations a ton.
I was riding in work boots in Texas on my 30 mile ride to work and they were way to hot. I picked these boots with guidance from the experts at Revzilla. These boots greatly exceeded my expectations, they are much much cooler than work boots, lighter, provide a better sole to ride with and ankle protection. Lastly they were very reasonably priced, less that my work boots. Thanks for making me cool!!

An excellent shoe for riding in warm to hot weather
I bought these based on good reviews, and I agree with all of the good reviews.

These boots are surprisingly comfortable to walk in, although I don't know if I'd want to walk for more than an hour or two, walking around for an hour is no problem.

The protection level is significantly better than my previous riding shoes (a cheaper WP option). The ankle can be a bit stiff because of this, but it's not uncomfortable, just noticeable.

It might sound weird, but I absolutely love the shoelaces/lacing for these. One good pull at the top and the shoes are tight all the way through. No pulling at each set of laces all the way up. Makes putting them on a lot quicker. The laces are very long, but they work with the ankle strap to stay where they should be.

Finally, the shoes have excellent airflow. 80F is the hottest it's been this year so far, and that was quite comfortable. Even when the weather is pretty cool (around 45-50F) these work very well with a wool sock.

Great Boot!
This is my first riding boot, but I am very happy with it. Pretty comfortable. I commute to work every day and I switch to shoes when I get to work. These would probably be okay to be in for a while but a lot of walking might be uncomfortable. They are stiff but loosen up after a some use. The airflow is pretty good in the summer. I am currently riding in 60 degree weather and they are still nice, my feet don't get cold, just a little chilly some days after 30 min on the freeway. The velcro strap has been a complaint that it doesn't reach across well. I use the extra bit of lace and wrap around the ankle to keep the strap in place and then the laces aren't too long after that.

I usually wear a 10.5 to a 11 but in these I have the 44 which says in US it is a 10. Fit perfect

Had them before. Loved them. Take them touring as back ups and to wear walking around. Had a crash one time while on tour up in the mountains and bruised my foot badly. Took my touring boots off and couldn't get my swollen foot back in the boot. Used my TCX Cubes but had to cut them to get my swollen foot in. Insurance paid for a new pair!! I Love theses light comfy boots!

Fit and comfort superb. Need something lower than my regular touring boots for in/around riding in my armored/kevlar jeans that's also easy to walk in.
JONATHAN N on Jun 8, 2014
My first riding boot, so the price is right. Otherwise I wanted a boot that had summer comfort first and foremost (I don't want to buy gear I don't want to wear), and a fair amount of protection. This boot appears to be a healthy medium, maybe airing more on the side of comfort, but they had a "crash tested" review that helped with my confidence

My second pair. Loved my first ones for hot weather riding but they got torn in a crash. They saved my foot which I was sure had broken bones but great protection helped me walk away.

what is the difference between the regular x-cube and the x-cube air?
A shopper on Feb 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Air has Air mesh material to flow more air. Regular does not.
Need a boot/shoe that is wide. I wear NuBalance 4X. Can't expect a 4X moto shoe but what comes close?
Brad W on Mar 3, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thank you John... I will order these tomorrow. I see they also have the same boot but not an "air". Do you know if it fits the same? I would guess it would be for cooler days but I see mesh on this one as well.

Brad
How does the shoe fit for size? Is it true to the chart? I wear a 12 shoe but have found 12 1/2 riding shoes/boots to be more comfortable because a lot of them tend to run small.
A shopper on May 9, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I found the shoe runs pretty true to size. I wear a 10.5 to 11. Most of the time an 11. I ordered the 11 and they fit great. They look like a pretty heavy boot but I find them light weight and very comfortable ( I did put a pair of gel insoles in them) and I love the air flows through them keeping my feet cool. If I were you I would go for the 12.5 an add a gel insole.

Regards,
Mark

Are these boots CE EN13634:2010, Level 2, 2, 2? Should be marked on the label somewhere within the boot.
Mike R on Jun 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The boots have labels which read: CE, EN13634 ; 2010, 2-2-1.
These are my first REAL pair of riding boots. Ive always just worn my law enforcement boots for either cruising or sport riding. I really like them as they are very comfortable and you can walk around for extended periods. They run pretty true to size. I wear an 11.5 in just about everything and mine are 12 and fit pretty darn good. The only gripe I have and I just found out while looking at the boot to answer your question; the boots are made in China. I do not like the thought of buying Chinese made products because we are only strengthening their economy and assisting them in reaching their goal of global domination.
I wear an 11.5 in most shoes. Should i go for the 45 or 46?
Kevin K on Jul 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Depends on how you prefer your fit.

I wear a 11.5 and bought the 47 just incase they ran small, as ive had this issue in the past. they don't and they turned out much bigger than expected. My advise, go for a 45 if you like a snug fit or 46 if you prefer more room for an insole.

Hope this helps.

Good luck
Are these waterproof?
TNT1 on Feb 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not waterproof. Great 3 season comfortable boot. Not for winter.
Just wondering if this boot is good off the bike? Really looking for something I can wear at work. Thanks
Joseph S on Apr 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes, These are fine off the bike. Nice and cool. Get a pair of gel insoles and you can wear them all day. I find them very comfortable.
