Not bad for Moon Boots Honestly, I feel like they look like Moon boots from when I was a kid. But Most good motorcycle boots do I guess. That aside these are a really good value. They have the off brand breathable water proof membrane, call it "shmortex", who cares, it works. Size runs slightly large and wide, both great things for me. I had a problem with some of the more Euro fit boots being too narrow even at a size or 2 above my regular size. July 28, 2014
Good boots I ordered this boots for friend. he ask me to recommend some good boots which has reasonable price with good quality. actually, he wanted to buy a boots for wearing whilst working. according to him, the boots is fit adequately, and has surprisingly good water proof ability. Quality is good enough and design is little bit rough but it only limited on design. consider to price, this boots is recommendable enough. July 23, 2014
Comfort, protection and understated style My second pair of riding boots after gore-tex komine's. Very comfortable both on and off the bike and low profile when worn under jeans. Haven't exactly tested them in a thunderstorm but i had a good splash through a deep puddle and the feet stayed dry! The grippy soles and firm protection around the ankles inspire stability and confidence. My one minor gripe is that it takes a while to get used to the firm toe-area if you're the type who preloads the gear lever before shifting. Cant really feel the lever very much and i had a few premature shifts but you get used to it in no time. Would purchase these boots again without a doubt. July 16, 2014
Did not have to break in , fix perfect Pros 1. fit perfect first time I put it on, it felt great 2. good protection. Cons 1. Feel for the shifter was not as good as I would have like, but comfort and protection more than make up for me changing my shifting style. June 25, 2014
Great Bang for the Buck Boots were overall comfortable after a few wears, a little stiff at first, still a little narrow for me because I have a wide foot but these are wider than most TCX. Overall a nice boot and look great. June 16, 2014
An excellent boot with plenty of support and ankle protection The boot appears to be well made. There is a very rigid form around the shin area and this should provide good protection in the event of an impact. The sole appears to be very well shaped to move on the footrests and not tend to make you put you foot in the same position each ride. The zip has a velcro tab on it and gets held fully closed after you zip up and close the fold over flap on to it, a good feature. I have not had these boots for long but they appear to be well made and well styled. Overall a great buy. June 2, 2014
No ankle support Should have known when I ordered these boots that they don't have any ankle support. They are very comfortable and waterproof. May 19, 2014
So far, so good. Seems to be a quality product. I have been looking for a riding boot that I could use everyday, rain, cold, hot weather etc. I have only worn these boots on 3 rides so far and they seem to be comfortable but should get even better as they "break in". Time will tell how waterproof they are and comfortable for longer rides. May 8, 2014

Joseph M: Price was right and I needed a pair of water proof boots for long distance riding. I am happy with the fit and style. Dec 18, 2013
michael a: i wanted a good water proof boot with good protection at a reasonable price. i bought these because they fit that bill exactly. Dec 9, 2013
Greg M: My current boots haven't lasted like I'd hoped, although they're very comfortable. I chose these because they look like they offer great ankle/toe/heel protection, and the extra height with built in shin guard is nice. Also, because of my bad experience with lace loops with current boots, I like that these use zippers, so they should be easier in/out. My winter over pants are a tad short, leaving my lower shins exposed, but these should close the gap. They seem like a great value. Dec 1, 2013
ryan l: Needed a good pair of commuting boots that I could wear year round. I like the fact that they don't look like power ranger boots. Nov 20, 2013
Nathan H: This is a great water proof boot and it is a great price right now. It is a high boot with ankle and shin protection. This is made from genuine leather and is water proof. Nov 19, 2013
robert l: value and consyruction but waaaaaay to narrow for my foot Nov 7, 2013
Gerald W: The protection is a step up from alpinestars ridge boot. Plus Revzilla Patten line the best bang for the buck. Nov 5, 2013

Kyle S: Waterproof, well-reviewed, good price. Oct 17, 2013

Shane B: CE EN13634:2002 is what mine say, 7142WI is also written, up in one corner of the label is a number 1, then in the lowef right corner of the label is a number 1 as well. Hope this helps. Jul 2, 2014

Joseph M: The label indicates EN 13634: 2002 - and then there's a symbol of a character on a motorcycle with a "1" on the top right and bottom right of the symbol. (Level 1?)
Hope this helps

A shopper asked: The TCX boots sizing say that they fit a wider foot would that mean that they would fit a EE foot? Apr 1, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
David D: This depends on your instep. Because this runs larger I would say yes it would fit the EE. The one thing you need to keep in bind is the instep. Most wider feet have a high instep and because of the styling that may be an issue. Oct 2, 2011
Reply to David Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
foambuilder: I doubt that they fit wider. My left foot is wider than the right foot because of old injury and it is snug in my size. The right is OK. I can wear medium socks with these boots, but probably not really "fat" socks. (Size 11) Aug 1, 2011
Reply to foambuilder Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Chris K: We have found TCX to consistently fit wider feet than other brands. For a EE, your normal size should be fine. If you are wider, than ordering a size up should fit the best. May 23, 2011
Reply to Chris Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
GilOliveira: It will be more comfotable to buy a more large fit.
In the winter, you will need to use a hot socks and them are thick more.

A shopper asked: What is the height of the TCX- X action boot? Sep 6, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Cyphey: The TCX X Action boots are slightly shorter than my friend's army issue boots (which are "full height"). I would call them a full height boot. Sep 26, 2012

M0t0b1t: For what it's worth (without giving exact measurement) They stop at my lower shin and compared to a high-top sneaker, a few inches taller. Mar 23, 2012

Alberto P: The shin protection in a size 46 comes up to approximately 11 inches from the floor. Feb 26, 2013

Guy C asked: I am new to the adventure riding arena. I am looking for a riding boot but dont think that I need a "storm trooper boot". Looking for something more usable off of the bike. I will not be doing any serious off road riding, just the occasional dirt road or dirt trail. The style that I am interested in is the high top shoe or "red wing" boot. Will these work? Also will be doing some short touring occasionally. Jun 29, 2014

robert r: These boots are great for being a riding boot. I have owned mine for some time and are great in the rain and in the winter. They are however very uncomfortable to walk in for a long time. The patch on the front of the boot is very stiff and dogs in to the top of the foot while walking. I love these boots and also have a pair of TCX summer shoes.

So, if you dont plan on walking all around town in these boots then they are great. I dont ride off road so I cant speak to that. If you plan on riding to a town and exploring, then either buy a different boot or take a pair of flip flops with you!

Ramone B: I've used this particular boot for the past two years as my winter boot. I live in Las Vegas so the temps don't get extremely low but when it reaches the low thirties this boot keeps my feet warm. As for comfort; I'd give them a 7 out of ten if you plan to to a lot of walking around in them. I surely would purchase again because of the style and look. Jul 5, 2014

Denis B: I bought these boots with the same view as you and I can tell you that these are great as for the road as light off-road. Mine fits my feet perfectly and they are so lite and comfortable that I switched my ICON 4 for these on most rides...
I reccommend these TCX X-Action
Hope this help, Denis.

Katherine J: These boots are what you are looking for. That are made well, afford protection, and aren't massive - you can walk around town in them no problem. The price is right too! I've been riding Malibu canyons all day and have done dirt roads for hours in them. Jun 30, 2014

Bruce B: these boots are great, feel better than boot I have ever worn from the first day.
no break in.

I can not feel the foot controls as well as some of my other boots, but confront is worth it.

Shreyash M asked: I am confused between these and the TCX X-Move mainly because of the sheen protection. Is X-Action longer than the X_Move and if yes can you please tell me the difference in height.?Thanks Sep 4, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Joshua R: Hmm, not sure I can answer your question very well because I've never owned the X_Move, but I can tell you the shin protection is awesome in the X_Action. I've even worn these boots when I had nothing else out on pretty rough 4 wheeler trip, and they performed amazingly, can't recommend them enough! Sep 25, 2013
Reply to Joshua Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Paul C: I'm not familiar with the x-move, but based on the picture I think the x-action would offer more protection.

My biggest complaint about the x-action is the zipper is on the outside, which to me makes it harder to get off. I'm pretty sure my next pair is going to be the x-five.
