Great boots I like these boots because under a pair of jeans they don't look like motorcycle boots. They seem well made and are comfortable. April 13, 2015
Fit my calf, but not my foot. (Wife's Review) Fit my calf, but not my foot. I first ordered the Dainese Women's Svelta, size 38, but it would not fit my calf. Then I ordered TCX size 38, they fit my calf great, but the foot bed was too narrow. Comparing the two TCX had a stiffer sole, insole was micro thin, Calf area is very flexible. Dainese had what I thought was nicer leather, and a way more comfortable foot bed. Calf area is pretty small. If you combine the bottom the of Dainese with the Top of the TCX I would have the perfect boot. ....still searching. February 18, 2015
Stylish and Tailored Boot The boot is very stylish and is tailored to a woman's foot, meaning it is not clunky or "dwarish" if you know what I mean. The leather is smooth and seems strong. Fortunately I have not had a chance to test it. I am short, 5'2 and the boot can be worn over or under jeans. In the photo, I am wearing the boots with skinny jeans and they look pretty good. The boots are protective and still nimble enough for me to feel my gears. They will need to be worn in a bit, but you can do this by wearing them around the house for the afternoon. As for the comfort, I wore the boots for about 5 hours and my feet didnt hurt or they were not overtly uncomfortable. Airflow is also really good. My feet were not hot or unbearable after a day of riding in So Cal. I would def recommend these to another rider. The only comment is that I dont know if this style would fit well with a rider who has wide feet. My feet are fairly narrow and they fit like a glove. January 19, 2015
The right boot for my needs... These boots seem to be high quality and well-made. My opinion is that they are good boots for general riding. They are not designed to provide the protection of a race boot, but they do offer some good protective features (ankle pads, shin plates, non-slip sole) The fit is good, true-to-size. The toe box is a little short -- meaning the hieght (moving toes up and down) is short, but it's not a bother. Just different. Adjustment for my calves is very good. No issues with that. For my use, I'd absolutely buy these boots again. September 30, 2014
Technical features but passes as a fashion boot I wanted a plain black boot that would protect my feet and shins, but that I could wear into work or a restaurant. This does the job. It has a small heel and narrow foot bed, so they don't look like gear when worn under boot cut jeans. The top part is a bit scratchy but that could be addressed with long socks. The air flow is just ok, but not any worse than I would expect. Overall, they're a pretty good pair of boots. As with just about all motorcycle boots, they're pricey. September 22, 2014
Quality boot Great boots that offer protection & feminine style without being bulky. They are stiff at first but soon start to give and are ok for walking. I wish they had a slightly higher heel giving them a bit more style and perhaps could be a little higher up the leg. They are toasty warm though and in a down pour my feet stayed dry. Don't know what they will be like in an Australian hot summer though? Worth the investment. Thanks for the super fast delivery too Revzilla! August 14, 2014
Thin leather across top of boot I've always worn my sidi crossfires for dirt and street, finally decides to spend some money on some actual street/touring boots. They're ok looking boots and seem fairly protective. The leather across the top seems a little thin, but should be ok. Except, that thin leather causes one big problem. Even though there is an extra layer of leather over the shift area, I found the leather wasn't heavy enough to keep from feeling the shifter on the top of foot. I was riding around town and the top of my big toe felt like it was actually blistering. Ouch. If I keep these boots I'm going to have to glue a thicker piece of leather at the shifting area. This really shouldn't be a problem on boots at this price. They seem like they'll break in easily. We'll see how long they last. July 17, 2014
Try This Boot. Can't say enough good things about this boot. Runs true to the size chart. Aura Boot is the right combination of protection and COMFORT. My first experience at wearing them ~6 hours a day, two days in a row, riding, and some walking around. I was very surprised and pleased at how comfortable No bulky feel with this boot. My foot is narrow, and there is still plenty of room. Well worth the money and your feet will thank you. June 21, 2014

Demetrics D: The inside flap of the boots I have does say made in Romania. Jun 23, 2014

A shopper asked: I was wondering about the inside where the water protection part folds in behind the zip, how thick is this layer and does it impact on your shin when the boot is closed? I had a pair of boots on that had a leather folding section and it was positioned right on my shin when folded which was really uncomfortable. Nov 24, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Fay H: The folding section is on the inner side of your leg and I do not find it bulky or uncomfortable. This is the only pair of boots I have had so I have nothing to compare them to. I find the boots are quite easy to get off and on. I am not a very large person and my legs and ankles are fairly skinny. I was a bit concerned before purchasing them because if I remember correctly they are advertised as being a bit narrow. My foot is an average to a bit on the wide side but they are very comfortable and fit perfectly. I ordered my regular shoe size. Hope this is helpful. Nov 24, 2013

Dave B: I bought these boots for my wife. She says that the part that folds in is not very thick and does not feel uncomfortable at all. It does not lay on the shin when the boot is on and zipped up It folds toward the back of the boot. Very good boots; waterproof in the rain. Nov 24, 2013

A shopper asked: Hello,

I'm just wondering the circumference/measurement of the top of the boot, which is for the calf.

Thank you,

f

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: We measured a size 7 boot, and found that the circumference varied from about 11inches to almost 13 inches when the stretch panel was fully expanded. However its important to note that the boot is more of a 3/4th length boot, and thus depending on the proportions of your leg the boot may not come up high enough to reach the fullest section of your calf. Nancy H: There is a gap of 1 1/2 inch between the boot top and my leg. My leg measurement there is 11 1/2 inches. The boot size is 40 - US 8. If I pull the velcro flap over a bit more, I can close some of the gap. Aug 29, 2014

A shopper asked: I'm not that tall and was wondering if these boots would give me an extra inch? Two inches? Thanks. Apr 9, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The TCX Ladies Aura Boots will grant you about an extra 1-1/4" on the heel. Apr 10, 2012

TinaMS: Not much of a heel, I'm afraid. They might give you an inch, but no more, I'd say. Apr 16, 2012

A shopper asked: I normally wear a 38 (7.5 US) in Birkenstocks. Would you recommend I get a 39 in these boots? Thanks Sep 24, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Joe T: My wife wears a 6.5 in US so purchased the 39 (EU) which fit well with a bit of extra room. She feels the sizing is right on so stay as close to the sizing chart as you can. So I think the 38 should be right for you (though I don't know if comparing them to a sandal sizing is the best route - maybe a sneaker that fits you?)

When I called to order these I explained that my wife doesn't like boots that are snug around the ankles. The customer service rep offered to call me back after she had tried on a number of different pairs - settling on these for the best fit in the ankle area. Great customer service!

Good luck!

A shopper asked: I was looking at these boots to compliment or replace my HD Lexa boots. I like that the Icon 1000 Elsinore boots look like they aren't injection moulded in the outsole which from what I've found by talking to a sales guy at a local shoe store is that companies do this so that they can force you to buy a new pair of shoes or boots because it's almost impossible to repair something with this kind of outsole. Do they have this kind of outsole?

I have no problems with this boot other than that. About the only reason I'd replace a pair of boots is if they were so worn that the safety features became useless, or if the new pair of boots had a large improvement that I saw of value. I also don't like how we've become so throw it away and buy a new so paying quite a bit for a boot just to have to throw it out because I can't have a new sole mounted seems dumb financially to me. Of course TCX and other companies probably love this idea.

The only thing I found that you can do to an injection moulded outsole is cut the sole with a saw halfway towards the boot ( think of re treading a 18 wheeler tire) and glue on a new outsole.

A shopper asked: Do any of your womens touring motorcycle boots come in wide, specifically size 10ww Aug 12, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: There are no Women boots available in wide size. However, TCX is the brand that fits the widest, and we generally recommend that brand for people with a wider foot bed. Aug 14, 2012
