The TCX-S Race boot offer reasonable protection and motion limits for a racing boot. Not quite as limiting as an Alpinestars SMX Plus, more limiting than lower line Sidi's. Comfort is very good and the sizing is pretty spot on. I wear an 11.5 shoe and the 45 fit perfect. Ample toe box. The lateral motion limits are are good, where the extension and flexion limits provide a greater range of motion than say the SMX Plus. I personally have great difficulty with ankle fit in the SMX Plus and the TCX-S Race was a better fit. The soles are very grippy, but just a little thin, more comparable to a Sidi sole but not cut narrow like the Sidi's. Overall a great buy for a medium price point boot.

This is a really good boot, with very substantial protection and a super price. I purchased white boots on discount and the value to quality at this price point is exceptional. The heel and ankle support is excellent and comfort above average. This is a boot that is race quality, but still can be walked in for a couple of hours without issures. I have not tried them in a crash yet, but early indications suggest that this is high quality product will be good as others costing significantly more. They fit true to size.

These boots are great, makes my riding position feel natural. These boots are slightly wide which is perfect for me because I have wide feet. I got a great price on these boots that would make these the biggest protection for the buck for me. The Torsion Control System feels very solid and it is quiet. This boot is amazing. Having previously purchased another TCX model what can I say.. I love the TCX line of boots. This boot will provide you with tons of ankle protection and do it comfortably. The boots feels almost broke in out of the box. I know this brand and with a little wearing and riding, they will be even more comfortable. I can’t say enough about these boots. TCX is all I will buy. You don't need to spend a sack of cash to get protection, comfort and a good deal, with the TCX S-Race Boots. Purchasing the product was easy. I upgraded from an older pair of Sidi's (will update with the model once verified) that I crashed in last summer during a trackday. One of the key things that I was looking for was a boot that would protect my ankle better not wanting to deak with that soreness again. The old boots definately allowed too much movement in the ankle. This is where the S-Race excels. There is a limited amount of travel that the ankle can flex. On my 06 GSXR with rearsets and GP shift pattern the ergos are perfect and there is no extra effort needed for gear changes, or moving around the pegs/seat during corners. On my SV however there is a little more effort needed on upshifs (standard shift pattern) I think due to a less race aggressive race pattern. I have to see if I can adjust the angle of the toe shifter. All in all though I am very pleased with the boots and the added protection that they offer over my previous boots. They are race boots so some may find discomfort when standing. But I'm used to it I guess.

I picked these boots for the quality looking protection and lack of hardware to get caught on bike. So far they seem made very well. The ankle protection limits forward movement as when upshifting but they may loosen with time. They have alot of grip on the pegs and good venting, I could fell air come in at speed.Happy so far.

I wear a 10 or 10.5 in everything and I am glad I got an 11. TCS system gives proper ROM while giving the feel of protection. No extra gagdety fasteners to get caught on everything. Shaped for track riding with a comfortable up on the pegs design. Stitching looks good. I would reccomend these boots. (riding 25 years. Track days; hundreds)

We feel that the TCX S-Race Boots can be worn as both an "In boot" and an "Out boot". If you have looser fitting pants that would normally fit over a work boot, then those same pants should fit over the S-Race boots as well. A tighter pant, like a leather racing pant, will likely need to be on the inside of the boot. The Velcro at the top of the boot should offer enough adjustability to accommodate almost any style of pant.

There is roughly 3 inches of Velcro adjustability in the calf, however, any performance boot needs to be tried on to ensure proper fit for comfort and performance.
