Speed and Strength SS2500 Hell 'N Back Helmet
The one thing I Really want to say about this helmet, GIANT field of vision. Seriously, It's huge! Also, The helmet is light, Moves plenty of air, And visor Not really as big as a factor as i would think looking around the freeway, Don't get me wrong, It will tug your headback if you're not careful, But as long as you know you have the visor and work with it, It's not to bad. However, I'd have to agree it is loud helmet, hope you don't mind the sound of wind! However, for style, comfort and weight, and field of vision, the helmet more than meets expectation! The only reason, I haven't rated everything 5 stars. Is due to changing the shield. It's quite annoying and, time consuming. Having to unscrew, pull out the visor, then pull out the shield of little floating clips, then, somehow manage to line up 2 sides while holding up a visor and getting the shield in clips Gets, Old... Quickly! but, Like everything in this world, everything has a trade off.

Good Helmet for a MotoX rider
This helmet is great for anyone looking for a visor. I can't ride without one as I've been racing BMX and riding dirt bikes since I was 11. Only compliant is that the cheek pads are a little tight on me but they should break in more. Any other questions watch the review video or call revzilla. Their customer service is great and you can tell all their advice comes from experience.

A little disappointed with this helmet,...
I bought this helmet based on the reviews I read here and on a few other sites and from trying it on at a local bike supply shop. I like the fact that it was using better materials at a lower cost. Also liked the fit of the helmet when I tried it on at the store and the price was terrific at Revzilla (as usual), however,....the reviews did indicate poor build quality in some cases and honestly, they weren't lying. The screws securing the rear of the brim fell out just by touching them and they were so small, I am not sure what engineer thought that they would hold under speed. I secured them with Gorilla tape and hope they hold through my next long trip. The helmet also fogs like crazy, even with anti-fog spray, which is strange since with the extended chin indicative of a dual-sport helmet is pretty open. It's also noisy but that is not unexpected for this style of helmet. It's a 50/50 choice but if I had to do it over again, I would not have bought this model.

The Best Helmet you can Buy!
I love this helmet! I've needed a new helmet and this is the one. It looks like it should be in the mid $300 range. Nectar closest dual sport style helmet is almost twice the price. I wear a medium in KBC. I ordered a medium perfect fit. Best review video on the web is definitely at Revzilla. Nice job. 2003 KLR 250 and others.

Best Hybrid for price!
This helmet is an exceptional value. I love everything about it. Great airflow, great visibility, great look. There is one thing the purchaser should be aware of. The padding is very thick (which is great for protection,) however It's slightly uncomfortable around the cheek area until the padding wears in.

You get what you pay for
After close to a year of use, the helmet has under preformed. The face shield has a tendency to crack open where it meets the gasket when at speed, which is a problem when you are in colder temps or trying to use a Bluetooth communicator . Also the visor causes more lift then to be expected and the helmet is quite loud compared to other in the same price class.

Great bang for your buck
Best helmet I have ever worn. Lightweight. Great fit. Comfy all the way. High VIS and stylish. A small bolt on the visor tip loosened (my bad for not checking) and was lost. S and S sent me a couple of replacements no cost. I really do enjoy everything about this lid.

Lightweight, high quality, great style
I almost pulled the trigger on the new AFX helmet, then ran across the S&S 2500. I really liked the more rounded high speed look of the helmet. When I found out it was a composite blend at this price, I had to have it.
The helmet is very light and seems like it has a good build quality. Features like the quick connect chin strap, and removable headliner are a real bonus. I had concern, as many do, about the peak on the helmet. I have never used a dual sport style helmet before, always an Arai touring helmet. I can say that they have really put in the work to allow air flow through the peak and it hardly buffers or lifts at speed. Plus, it's great to block the sun when it's setting on evening rides. It looks pretty menacing as well :)
My only two somewhat negative points. The helmet is snug, especially around the cheek pads. They seem to be wearing in though, just a bit tight at first. I ordered a medium, then returned for a large that fits much better. But the cheek pads are still on the snug side. (Revzillas return policy and service is second to none BTW) The only other thing is it is louder in wind noise than my Arai, which is to be expected. Totally livable though. All in all, I am nitpicking at points. The helmet is one of the best deals on the market.
