Speed and Strength Rage with the Machine Jacket
Speed and Strength Rage with the Machine Jacket Black
I decided to buy this product off Ebay for $89. and even at that discounted price i still overpaid. It was new/blemished with a small dot of red paint on the left bicep.I dont think this is worth $179. let alone $199. If you are going to pay that kind of money get a nice leather with protection. You can easily buy some off road riding armour for around $39 . bucks and wear any kind of jacket over it you want. Fit is good i wear a 44 and the size chart for me was spot on. I took the XL.This jacket is thin with armour at the shoulders back and elbows. It pretty much a summer only jacket. This jacket is ok but does not live up to the hype. Anyways its not worth the money imho. But if you must please help yourself.

Great armored jacket, with a killer look.
First of all, the jacket looks just awesome.
It has a lot of adjust-ability across the waist with the straps and some straps on the shoulders. I am 5'11 and 185 and with the Medium, it does seem a little short on the torso but correct on the arms. As Anthony says in the review, it definitely an American cut, and with me being a more of a European statue, there is a bit of extra material on my upper body and it does fold funny when I am leaning over the tank on a sport bike.
Besides that, it has a ton of pockets, the back protector can come out along with the elbows and shoulders. The pads are just velcro-ed on so there is some adjust-ability in them. I had to move the shoulders closer in as my chest isn't that huge.
Overall I do like it, but next time I will look for something in a European fit so that it fits me closer. Did I mention the jacket looks sweeeeet?
The arms do zip off, but in the first jacket I got the zipper totally fell apart on my first attempt to take the sleeve off, so I think it will just be my cooler weather jacket. It is water resistant so it does not pass much air and lately being in the high 70s it feels quite warm, and once it gets to 90s I think I'll need a summer jacket.

I was questioning on whether I would need a small or medium and since size small was out of stock I went ahead and purchased the medium. Good thing I did. I'm about a size 40 men's suit jacket and the medium was perfect for me. I also really like the shorter torso of this jacket as it fits my 5'7" frame better than many jackets which seem to be either cut for a taller skinny guy or someone with some extra meals on them. I'm nether so I'm very happy with the fitment of this jacket. Arms are slightly snug for me so I'm not sure I can layer if I needed to though. The olive color with the black leather trim pieces looks awesome in person and the waist adjustments is killer too for fitment. Kudos to Revzilla as always with the super fast shipping and the great video reviews.

Great 3-season jacket
The jacket is really comfortable with or without the armor plates in. And it looks great too.
It "feels" a bit light, in terms of protection, and I'm sure leather would provide better protection overall, but given that the jacket breathes better than leather and is lighter weight (won't get as hot in the summer), it's a relatively small trade-off in the end.
All in all, my new favorite jacket

Looks great, offers good protection and is comfortable
Well I have to say, the look, stands out in the regular crowd of riding jackets. The adjustable straps give this jacket almost a mad max feel to it. The style/cut is very much an American one, so if you are in the states, you can buy a large, knowing that it's a large.
It is armored on the back, shoulders and elbows. The shoulder armor is adjustable too, so no need to worry about broad or slender shoulders.
The removable sleeves are a really cool feature, during the warmer weather I pulled mine off for a few rides and it kept me nice and cool. Now that the fall has come around I'm riding with the sleeves on and it's keeping me fairly warm too.
All in all, I have positive things to say about this jacket and recommend it.

Good lightweight textile jacket.
Bought this for trips to the grocery store and for putting around town. Fell in love with the look online, usually I wear a once piece, but want something that is lightweight and easy to take off at short distance locations. It looks awesome road warrior/mad max like.
That said, it is a bit large in fitment around the arms, I ordered a small and it is is big there, torso fit is spot on. It looks to be designed for use with a hoody as the neck opening is quite large. This would make up the difference in sizing.
Well...It has elbow and shoulder pads....and a thin layer for your back. Aside from that it is about as thick as a windbreaker and I do doubt its effectiveness in a crash above 30-40 mph.
All in all it does what it needs to do at the pricepoint, it is fairly comfy, and would make a great jacket for low speed protection.

Great jacket for the money.
I have only had the jacket for about 3 weeks so I can't speak about durability and I haven't tested the protection either (and I really don't want to). I rated the fit as slightly small but it depends on your body type. The torso seems a tad small, the sleeves are perfect and the shoulders are slightly large for me. Maybe I'm just weird looking. I got it for the price and the look. I would recommend this product.
