Speed and Strength Rage with the Machine Jacket
Stylish with good protection
I got this as my first jacket when living in Hawaii. My mistake was that I missed the WP spec and didn't realize how hot it would be in the Hawaii sun. When at speed (30+) I'm ok, but anything below that is brutal. I never get off the bike dry, even a short 10 minute ride. That said, it is a well constructed jacket. It is heavier than I thought it would be with well placed pads and moderate adjustability.
-Several locations to adjust fit
-Good built quality
-Love the look, have gotten several compliments
-Perfect for sub-80 degree weather
-American cut for larger and athletic body types
-The WP isn't really WP, water seeps through instantly
-The shoulder and waist straps do not cinch down enough
Sde Note: My jacket came with a defective zipper and the zipper broke within the first week. I contacted Speed and Strength to file a warranty claim and had a new jacket within a week. Amazing customer service by both Revzilla and Speed and Strength. They will both see my busineess again.

More style than performance
This jacket looks amazing in person as it does on the website. It also seems to be well made and of good quality. I have had the jacket for approx 10.5 months and it is as good as new (save for some bugs guts).
Water resistant for this jacket basically means that water won't harm the jacket. Anything over a very light drizzle will seep through the material.
Zip-off sleeves - I find this option to be more gimmicky than anything. I zipped the sleeves off twice and that was it. Personal preference I think.
I'm 6'0" - skinny/athletic. I got a medium jacket which fits well in the shoulders but the waist is a bit large. The straps are not fully velcroed so tightening them doesn't fix the issue. Also, the sleeves can get a bit itchy b/c they're a mesh lining. As a side note, this jacket is surprisingly heavy.
I can't really comment on this because I haven't gone down with this jacket. It does 'feel' like it provides good protection.
Obviously not good for winter weather unless you're a professional b-a. It gets very hot during the 85-90+ days too. It has no ventilation besides what goes up your sleeves or into your pockets.

Great Protection, Hot in the Summer!!!
I have had this for over a month, and I love it. Great protection in forearms shoulders and back with padding and has straps to tighten around waist. The sleeves come off which I do NOT do in the summer for the padding and the jacket is pretty warm in the sun. It gives great protection and is pretty durable. Only annoyance is that I wear a backpack to work and when taking it off I always unstrap the shoulder straps by accident. Other than that it is very easy to zipper and re-strap with gloves on and has a nice pocket on the inside for a cell phone or wallet, outside pockets are pretty much useless. Bottom line I would recommend this jacket I feel safe in it and it is a great price..

Good for the price
My biggest concern with the jacket is that it doesn't have an optional liner for colder rides. I have to pack a sweatshirt to wear underneath it. I also personally like jackets to have a long collar that I can sort of tuck around my helmet, but this jacket still works well as is.

Armored up and lookin good
This jacket has everything one would need for cover and protection. The back pad may make you need to adjust slightly when you get on your bike but only initially. The ability to remove the sleeves definitely is a pleasing option for those warm days which also have forearm paddings in and adjustable wrist straps to limit air build up in sleeves. The only small downside I can think of is when you put it on the shoulder pads tend to move around causing you to have to do a slight adjustment after putting it on. Other than that I can adjust to any build with adjusting straps on the tops and sides for a pristine fit.

I got this jacket because I like the style and the versatility. I like having a vest for riding just to add a little protection from debris. Some say the waist is a little high on it but I like it that way it keeps the jacket from pushing up and giving you the look of a huge chest. The pockets are well placed there are 4 two on the. Bottom behind the middle adjustment strap and one inside and the breast pocket as well. I stayed nice and cool while riding no issues. Being able to put the sleeves on when the sun goes down when it starts getting chilly is realy nice. Save me from having to bring extra gear for those day long rides.
The armor is nice to have but I took all of it out I don't like how it feels but that is not a problem with the jacket I just don't like armor.
This jacket just looks awesome

Fit is true to size and the Mad Maxish styling couldn't be better. I have received a lot of comments on how good it looks! It's great as a vest as well. I wear it as a vest with the moto mercinary armored sweatshirt by speed and strength mostly. That's a great combo for warmer days. It cuts the wind well as a jacket and the vest option is great for when it gets warmer out. The only down sides I found are...there are no vents, and the zipper pull can thawap you in the throat at higher speeds (slightly painful and kinda annoying). Neither one has been a big issue for me though. The pocket set up is nice with the two outside lower ones hidden, as well as a chest and internal pocket provide plenty of room for what I need. I'm very happy with this purchase and one cannot beat the rapid delivery revzilla offers. Got the jacket in one day from ordering! You may pay less somewhere else but the service on revzilla is worth a little extra cash. This jacket made a Speed and Strength fan out of me. So much so I bought the moto mercenary and the motolisa (for my woman) and plan on buying the Kevlar flannel as soon as I can. I highly recommend this product!

Speed and Strength Rage with the Machine Jacket Black
I decided to buy this product off Ebay for $89. and even at that discounted price i still overpaid. It was new/blemished with a small dot of red paint on the left bicep.I dont think this is worth $179. let alone $199. If you are going to pay that kind of money get a nice leather with protection. You can easily buy some off road riding armour for around $39 . bucks and wear any kind of jacket over it you want. Fit is good i wear a 44 and the size chart for me was spot on. I took the XL.This jacket is thin with armour at the shoulders back and elbows. It pretty much a summer only jacket. This jacket is ok but does not live up to the hype. Anyways its not worth the money imho. But if you must please help yourself.
