Speed and Strength Women's SS1300 Wicked Garden Helmet
Excellent product good quality. would Recommend to friends..
I purchased this helmet for my wife as a gift. she loves it and Says its super Comfortable and light weight. The One and only issue that we have had is that the screws that hold the brackets for the locking mechanism for the visor Came loose and when she took the helmet off she lost one of the Screws. I fixed the Issue by replacing the missing Screw taking all the screws out putting Some lock tight on them and screwed them back on. I did this approximately two weeks ago and haven't had any further issues. Besides that minor issue no other problems have occurred. My wife really loves this helmet.

Good for the price, one major issue
I love the graphics on this helmet! It definitely attracts some attention - which is kind of a good thing, since not being noticed gets us in trouble on the road.
Fit - it was nicely snug all around the top & back (similar shape to my previous HJC), but a bit too snug at the cheeks. Eventually broke in a bit, but probably should have looked into changing the cheek pads.
Ventilation - I still can't keep track of which way the switch is open or closed for the top vents, because quite bluntly, it seems to make little difference in most riding positions on a sportbike. I ride with the visor up in warm weather anyway most of the time, and the chin ventilation is good on the chilly mornings - it doesn't fog any worse than any other helmet.
Noise - I was surprised that it's significantly louder than my HJC CL-SP was, and it actually seems to get worse when I put the visor down! It's still not *that* loud (I can hear the music in my one earbud just fine with volume low enough to still hear traffic), but I wasn't too happy with that part....
Features - love the quick release on the visor (if for nothing more than ease of cleaning!), and the ratchet/quick release chin strap. One note that didn't occur to me though - there's no "D" ring to hook on for locking the helmet to the bike, so if you routinely do so, you'll need a small cable or something to run through the "chin" area to hang it from.
Quality - BIG ISSUE! I went to flip my visor down after a couple months of riding with this helmet, and the whole "quick change" mechanism was loose in the helmet and wouldn't let my visor move! The problem turned out to be that one of the 2 little screws that holds the "up down" mechanism to the helmet itself had worked it's way out and got caught in it. I was away from home at the time, but luckily was able to unjam the loose screw, use a credit card to remove the other screw, and the "quick release" to the visor on the other side, and get home with no visor attached, to fix it with proper tools. NOT OK though! If I had needed the visor while I was moving, this could have been much worse!
All in all, I'd buy it again - but I strongly recommend pulling the visor off first thing and checking those screws before you wear it!

This is my second helmet, and I must say that it is very comfortable. Worth the $$.

Excellent mid grade helmet for women!
Purchased this helmet a month ago. Wanted to give it some use before reviewing it. I would say over all this is a excellent helmet. Fit is great. Comfortable. Nice thick padding. The only thing I wish it had was a little better air flow. Has multiple vents but still not as much air flow as I would like being I live in hot florida. In these hot summer months been riding with visor open and sun glasses. Should be great for fall. I would over rate this helmet excellent! If your looking for a step up from the basic helmet but not looking to spend to much this is for you! Thanks revzilla!

Snug fit. Great style.
The only complaint I have about this helmet is I wore my hair in a pony tail the first few uses and it made the helmet feel loose when my hair was down. It is stylist and light weight with good airflow.

Very comfortable helmet. Size chart is right on the money. Measured my head and got a perfect fit. Comes with all the bells and whistles. Vents are easy to open or close while riding. Also love chin strap nice change from the last helmet I bought that was difficult to secure without a mirror or some help. All together great gear for the green.

I bought this along with the Wicked Garden gloves for a friend, they go together nicely. The fitment was good on her, I bought a medium. She was used to wearing my Joe Rocket medium and that fit about the same. The chin strap is pretty neat, different kind of locking mechanism on it. Removing the shield was fairly was easy (I picked up the dark smoke shield) and the helmet looks seriously sweet with it. Great helmet for the price. I recommend it for sure.
