Speed and Strength Top Dead Center Leather Jacket

Where leather is traditional too bulky and too hot to wear on a summer day this one is designed to offer comfort in a lightweight highly protective package that flows a ton of air. Just hold it and you can feel the weight difference and flexibility, this one is built differently. Laser cut perforation are made after the jacket panels were made, so the perf does not come into the seam lines compromising safety or style. It looks that much more refined then most perforated jackets. The perforation holes are large clean holes for airlfow.

Features:

 • Combined leather and AR-600 frame
 • Removable vault C.E. approved shoulder and elbow protectors
 • Removable vault C.E. spine protector
 • Perforated leather panels
 • “Speed Zip” controlled ventilation
 • "Lockdown” waist adjusters
 • Molded “Strong Arm” sleeve adjusters
 • Belt loops for pant attachment
 • Reflective trim

Cool jacket
I'm 5'10, 180lbs and order a larger (about a 43' chest). I probably could have gotten away with a med but it fits close enough.

Also even though I went with the free shipping option I got it the next day (I'm in Dallas). How that happen?

The jacket (red/black) looks very sharp and appear to let air in pretty good. I normally wear a mesh in the summer but I think this will work to replace it. It's lighter than it looks but offers more protection than the mesh plus it just looks so cool (did I mention that?).

If they make a cold weather version of this in leather I'll buy it.

Good jacket, but the quality.
This is my second speed and strength jacket. First one I bought was a winter coat. The first one was damaged on the zipper and the plastic had split and prevented me from zipping.
Now, this jacket is okay, but be weary. The stitching where the logo (on the back) is slowley coming off. I am not picking at it. The logo is still on, but in some spots there is no stitching at all and glue is holding it. Another problem I had, was the clamps on the arms that tighten the armor onto you was damaged on the inside. It was unable to snap in so I had to glue it. For a jacket at this price I'd be careful of quality. The leather is good, airflow is amazing and the armor is well placed. I would have honestly (if I had to do it again) get a different jacket from a different brand.

HI,
i read all the reviews of all the leather hybrids and mesh jackets available before zeroing on this jacket, and i m glad that i did!!
it has all boxes checked...the looks, the comfort, the protection, value for money...and its leather tooo!!
its fits quite well and doesnt restirct any arm movement thanks to the extendable panels on shoulders
the volt ce rated armor package is well appointed and doesnt move around much
i drive wher temparatures reach 40c/105f and it does get hotter on the road...the perforation does its job well
its never gonna be comfortable at the lights..but as u get moving the vents do the job. the asymetric design looks cool too

the jacket vents better than any leather jacket I've owned.
This jacket is perfect for summer and is very affordable. The look is great and the airflow is the best at this price point.

Great jacket, bad quality.
Threading and emblems are starting to ware off. Adjustable wrist straps (tearing off due to bad sewing) are coming off. Forearms adjustments straps do not stay attached and leather is cracking. Great airflow and padding but wouldn't recommend.

Love the style
I bought this jacket to have more protection than a textile or mesh jacket for warmer weather riding. The jacket looks great, love the style. So far I have only used it in the AZ spring which get can get to the mid 80's. Air flows pretty good. Waiting to see how it handle the summer riding season. Fit greats. I bought an XL and fits me perfect. I have about a 46in chest.and about a 36in waist. So far I am really happy with the Jacket.

I like this jacket because it looks like it has more of a relaxed fit. I don't need a full race jacket to ride on the street. And I also have Speed and Strength helmet and gloves.

Hey, I'm around 6' tall, 145 lbs, tall and skinny. What size is recommended? I like my jackets to fit athletically, but I'm worried about the length being too short and not coming down to cover my back and stomach all the way. recommendations would be greatly helpful!
John B on Apr 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm 5'7" 160lbs.. Most of my motorcycle jacket are sz M but Speed& strength run a bit big so size S for me on this1.
With u height & weight I'd go w/ sz S..length should b good too
Hope this help
Is the zipper plastic or metal?
Dakota C on Aug 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: If you mean the actual zip-lines, they seem to be entirely a rigid plastic.
I'm 5/5 36 in waist 43in chest but a have a little bit of a gut and I'm short. What size would you recommend?
A shopper on Jul 31, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm 5'9, 33 waist and 42 chest I think. I got a large but I think a medium might have been better for me. I sometimes have issues with jacket collars pushing up into my chin with larger jackets. There's enough play that you might be able to start with a med or large and just exchange it if you don't like the feel. As long as you keep the tags on it they'll switch it out no problem (I've done it before).
Does this jacket have a 360* attachment for pants?
A shopper on May 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Nope, just a couple of loops for a belt.
How does this jacket hold up and flow air in hot dry summers (i.e. AZ, NM, TX, etc.) and hot warm summers (i.e. FL, AL, etc.)?
Amos W on Feb 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Mine has held up good so far but that's only 4 months. And the air flow is amazing I live in fl but haven't had a chance to ride in hot weather.
What typ of leather is it using ?
SP 634910688 i on Apr 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: In the review video Anthony says, "it's around that 1.2mil-grade cowhide."
