For the price the helmets were decent but they weren't very durable, pieces broke off during trying them on.
The durability is not as good as I thought it would be! Two small pieces of the helmet came off when I was trying the helmet on, they weren't properly held and so they easily came off of both helmets I purchased. Overall, for the price they were a good buy.

A great helmet for an exceptional price!
This is my second SS700 helmet (first Go For Broke) and I just love these things! They are kinda loud IMO, but fit extremely well and protect just as good as anything else I've ever worn. I also have a Shoei in my helmet arsenal but hardly ever wear it over either of my SS700s (just doesn't seem as comfortable despite the also excellent fit).
This helmet coupled with the "Smoke" visor looks absolutely sinister!

I loved the helmet and for the price you cant beat it, looks very representable and always a neck breaker. the matte black look is awesome. I would recommend anyone on getting one.

As good as it gets, especially for the price
I got this helmet when i tried it on at a local store and ordered it for a better price off here, and I'm in love with it. The quick release is awesome and it'll look sick when i tint the visor. Noise isnt too loud when riding and my only gripe with it is that the helmet only has three small holes for air flow, and it could be a little cooler. Other than that i love it and it is my favorite helmet of three now.

Can't beat the quality for this price
This helmet is very comfortable, the whole helmet feels like good quality. I bought it with the smoked visor and the helmet looks sick! The chin Vent works amazing and the visor closed very nice and tight unlike a Bilt helmet i was wearing that the visor did not close snug. If your a medium in icon and HJC then i suggest a medium with this helmet. I love the quick release over the double D ring it's just so easy and fast to put you helmet off and on. Just hope it stays on in the event of a crash
** this is the best bang for the buck helmet IMO. It's my 2nd helmet and I'm very pleased with it for this price
CON- the top vents suck. Dont do much but i still have not broke a real sweat after a good hour of rough riding in 73 degree weather hitting 100mph

Very very good at its price point
Just finished my first ride in this helmet. I'm impressed. I was not sure how I was going to replace my aging rf-1000, worse yet I really didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars doing so. Luckily, I did not have to.
I had 4 key things I was looking to cover in a replacement helmet.
1) Fit: Perfect, as I put it on I was immediately revealed that it fit just as well to my head as its predecessor.
2) Ride quality: At the price range I was worried that I would be sacrificing ride quality, but so far so good, time will tell.
From the first ride impression I had no issues with wind forcing the helmet around.
The noise was acceptable (without ear buds/earplugs) I could hear what was going on around me fairly well without whistling or to much roaring. Most of the time I wear something to cut the noise down, but I'm glad it is not a requirement.
3) Style: I prefer a more "tame" color pallet and this really fit my taste. Again, same goes with contour/shaping, I prefer something tame but not dull.
4) Features: I really like the fact a breath guard and chin curtain come with the helmet, two things I'm very happy to not lose at this price point.
I have yet to remove the visor but really only do so to clean it, when required. A quick and easy visor release is not a requirement of mine. A visor lock would be nice, but again it is something I can easily do without.
I'm still unsure of the helmet strap. I'm used to how secure a DD ring configuration is. I worry that, if in an accident, there is a chance that the quick release could potentially be jarred or worked loose under the right conditions. I really wish the "ratcheting" part had a locking mechanism.
Overall: Sure, its not Snell or ECE certified and it will probably wear out faster than some of the x-hundred dollar helmets, but I don't feel I'm missing anything big when comparing this helmet to others I have owned in the past (big sigh of relief)
