Just what I was looking for. This is my 5th helmet. I'm a medium/small size. Finally a correct and comfy fit. My riding buddy is a lip reader. Never felt protected when I tried a noisey half helmet. This helmet's versatility allows more protection when riding solo and better protection than most 3/4 helmets riding with my buddy. When facing direct sunlight flipping the recessed visor over my sunglasses kept me from kept me from riding blind. I like the helmets contour and wide field of vision. Just what I was looking for in fit, options, style and quality for the price. April 29, 2013
Nice Helmiet Nice helmet for the cost. I like the versatility of how it can be worn. Can be broken down all the way to 3/4 open face. Lighter feel and smaller look. Only gripe is it's a little flat on the forehead and gets uncomfortable when wearing a beanie underneath. Hoping that goes away over time. April 29, 2013

Comfortable, a little big, a little Noisy Love this helmet. Well made light weight with an excellent field of vision. I agree it's a bit loud, but I prefer to hear the wind ripping by. Airflow is nice, but only been riding in about 50-60 degrees. Helmet runs a bit big, but not so much that you need the next size down. DVD system is a bit temperamental at first, takes some time getting used to, but overall a great helmet. April 1, 2013
Comfortable, good view, noisy Nice fitting, good looking helmet. Good price. More round oval than long oval. Lightweight. View is like nothing is there. Very nice. Only issue is noise. This is a very noisy helmet even with the chin bar attached. The chin bar is difficult to attach but once attached, keeps a lot of the air out although not nearly as well as a full face/modular. I don't plan on using the chin bar except in rain/cold weather. Interior sun visor comes down farther than most. Nice as there isn't any place for the sun to sneak in. Due to the noise, I'll add a SENA to listen to the tunes from the bike. Air flow with the face shield down is minimal but seems adaquate. Runs slightly large. I normally wear an XL and this is a touch too big. I need a Large and a 1/2 but this will do. I would recommend this. March 30, 2013

I like the open face style with the removable chin bar. However I tend to like using my photochromic riding glasses more than integrated sun visors.

Answer: 
Yes - I wear prescription glasses and have a hard time with other helmets interfering and pushing them off my ears towards the front. The N90 is very comfortable; modular system is great as you don't have to remove glasses to put helmet on/off

No, the chin bar is not rated to the ECE full-face standard, but the rest of the helmet is.

Answer: 
The chin bar isn't the same as a full face/modular chin bar. It's some measure of protection but more for looks and to keep a little air/rain off your chin than anything else.

It comes with a clear face shield but smoked/tinted shields are readily available here at Revzilla. With the interior drop down sun visor, you may find that you don't need a tinted shield.
