Awsome helmet I highly recommend this product to others the website was helpful July 20, 2015
You can't beat the price. Really good product for the price you pay, I ordered mine in black and ordered a tinted shield to go with it so that it would end up looking like the picture. I wanted something stylish with a wide view similar to an open face helmet but I wanted something tinted covering my face because I wear glasses. This helmet was just the perfect product for what I was looking for. The removable chin bar gives it the open face feeling while still having a full face shield, It is very loud like the other reviews have noted. I recommend a tinted shield if that is something your interested in. I can still see great at night and the tint is very relaxing in the bright unrelenting sun in Texas. August 28, 2015
fit and looks great loud wind noise, lenses rattle, good for warm temps, not for cold. July 13, 2015
Pretty Solid For the quality and price, I'd say it's a keeper. Definitely worth a consideration. July 9, 2015
Cool! The helmet is just as displayed. The wide view is awesome, you can look all around without moving your whole head. Although it weights the same as my previous helmet, the weight feels different, better balanced; head does not feel heavy. The helmet has a small fit, but it's comfortable, it becomes an extension of the head. Fitting a smoked faceshield makes this helmet look like it's from Tron or something! June 22, 2015
SS2200 This helmet is not bad for the $. However, its rather loud. One can really hear the air woosh by as you drive. Plus, I thought it would weigh less due to the improved shell- fiberglass. A large weighs 1.4 Kg. The main clear shield is nice and so is the clasping (chin) mechanism. July 13, 2015
This helmet is okay I bought this helmet because of the great price and it looked good too. However it's not all that good if you ride on the highway its loud. Does not go well with the Sena SMH20s due to the loud noise. Another thing Protection wise I don't feel like it has good padding. If loud noise and Bluetooth devices don't matter or apply to you then it's a great helmet. I personally wouldn't buy it again. May 21, 2015
I Love the view Im Claustrophobic, I wanted a helmet that would give me a combination of protection and not feel like I was trapped in it. This hits all the marks. The View is so wide and low it feels like an open face helmet. The air flow though the top of the helmet is pretty light but does work. I enjoy the quick strap but I wish there was also a D ring to lock up the helmet. April 28, 2015

A shopper asked: Is the visor easily removable for open face riding? Aug 31, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jason S: Yes. The turning/locking pieces are pretty delicate and would be easy to lose. I've only removed it 3-4 times over the passed 6 months because of this. I just ride with the visor up instead. Overall satisfied for the most part with the helmet for the price. The versatility is nice. Sep 25, 2013

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Monkeyman: It comes with a clear face shield but smoked/tinted shields are readily available here at Revzilla. With the interior drop down sun visor, you may find that you don't need a tinted shield. Mar 30, 2013

A S asked: I tried on an XL recently and my chin was hitting the chin bar... Would going to a 2XL change that? Jun 21, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Christopher G: Fit the helmet to your head, not your chin. If the size that fits your head doesn't fit your chin, you need a different make/model helmet. If you buy a larger size hoping it will fit your chin, it will be too big on the head and 1) be uncomfortable, 2) be noisier and 3) be unsafe. I had the same problem when I had my SS2200. Aug 9, 2014

Graeme D: Overall sizing does seem small. I had to go to a larger size.
Not a great deal of room still in the chin strap, especially if one wishes to use a mike.

A shopper asked: Is the chin bar rated for full face helmet, like the Nolan N43E? Mar 19, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Monkeyman: The chin bar isn't the same as a full face/modular chin bar. It's some measure of protection but more for looks and to keep a little air/rain off your chin than anything else. Mar 30, 2013
Reply to Monkeyman Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: No, the chin bar is not rated to the ECE full-face standard, but the rest of the helmet is. Mar 20, 2013

A shopper asked: I am looking to add a Bluetooth system to my SS2200 helmet and am concerned due to the small speaker openings mentioned in the product video. Is there a particular brand or model that I should AVOID with with this helmet? Thank you in advance! Apr 19, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kenneth W: Bought this helmet along with the Sena Bluetooth for my wife. She loves the fit and function of the helmet but the bluetooth was not an easy install. After some thought and effort we managed to install the main body and mic while retaining all workings of the chin and visor. The speakers however are too large for the cutouts in the liner. The liner is also of hard material, not easy to modify and slightly off centre. We filled the cutouts, attached the speakers, and because they're slim enough, they work ok. She does complain that they touch her ears slightly but not a worry. Apr 20, 2014

A shopper asked: How easy is it to install an intercom/CB system on this helmet? My system attaches right about where the latch appears to be on this helmet. Apr 17, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Sean C: I had to use the glue on mount included with my system. ..I have Cardo Bluetooth. I simply moved it back so as not to interfere with the helmet operations. Everything else then lined up fine....speakers. ..microphone. ..all of it. Hope this helps! Apr 17, 2014

A shopper asked: I like the open face style with the removable chin bar. However I tend to like using my photochromic riding glasses more than integrated sun visors. Apr 16, 2013

DaveZ: Yes - I wear prescription glasses and have a hard time with other helmets interfering and pushing them off my ears towards the front. The N90 is very comfortable; modular system is great as you don't have to remove glasses to put helmet on/off Apr 17, 2013
