Good looking jacket on and off the bike This jacket is comfortable for riding and casual wear. Love having the hood and the armor. Not real big armor pieces so it doesn't look like a riding jacket off the bike. Breathes very well while riding so not great for cold weather. Also like the charity this jacket supports. Overall, I'm very pleased. April 23, 2015
Fantastic casual jacket with good impact protection Sick looking jacket with proceeds going to a good cause. This is a replacement for/addition to my other jacket, a Scorpion Exo intake, which offers fantastic ventilation and protection, but makes me look like a power ranger on holiday. Even the missus LOVES this dogs of war jacket. The olive color jacket looks like something from a military surplus shop. Very comfy, breathable. My only recommendation for improvement would be to enlarge the shoulder armor pieces, as they are very VERY small, and do not come down that far to protect the side of the shoulder joint. I'll still be using my Scorpion jacket for longer, higher speed rides, but the S&S Dogs of War is great for when I just want to run to a pub and grill with friends without looking like a doofus. Can't beat style and quality I'm shocked by how little they are selling this jacket for. They could easily get over $200. I bought the Large and I am 6'3" 200 lbs with a 34" waist and about 43-44" chest. It was pretty snug, especially in the arms. I'm going to return it and buy the XL and hope that it fits.... Great jacket I got this jacket to my house with in a week and I live I canada super fast shipping jacket is made out of a nice material belt loops are super handy to all protection inside the jacket is made out of some quality s*** if I ever crashed the bike and wrecked this jacket or if I did some thing to wreck the jacket I'd definitely buy another one March 30, 2015
Great fit for a tall rider too. I was mostly hesitatant because most jackets are just a bit too short down my back. I'm 6'4" 230 pounds XL. It was just right, the back drops a little bit so it covers down to my belt in riding position. March 23, 2015
Great Value i`m 6 ft and 185 pounds Medium size was a perfect fit. Padding is where it is suppose to be. You can wear it as a regular jacket nobody will tell you are biker which is nice. You ll look like a war veteran though. I like the rugged look so for me is fine.zippers seem good and sturdy. I got the olive which is a bit darker than the one in the picture. overall is a fine product. March 15, 2015
Great value, great look Received this jacket in the mail today (speedy shipping!) and am really enjoying so far. I am 6'2", 180lbs, and took a risk and ordered a medium. Nice slim fit and the jacket seems pretty high quality. Built to last. Armor is stiffer and thicker than what I was expecting, good for protection, maybe makes the jacket slightly less comfortable (not my much though) and to be honest, it's worth it for the extra protection. If it wasn't for the belt loop fasteners to keep it from riding up, I'd say it's a little too short for me, but with those straps in place it sits perfectly on my waist. Love the cause, too! Thanks revzilla! March 10, 2015
Great jacket for a great cause I researched a bunch of different riding jackets and decided to give this one a whirl. I can't tell you how happy I am with it. I'm 6'0", 185lbs, with a slim build. I ordered the large and it fits great. Even if you have a little bit of a gut on you there's still enough room around the middle to be comfortable. I ride a blacked-out Harley and this jacket stays true to that outlaw style if that's what you're going for. The jacket breathes fairly well and is perfect for spring, fall, and winter riding. I live in Texas and don't plan on wearing this in the summer, it's a bit too heavy for triple digit temperatures. This is a minimalist jacket. There's no internal pockets, just mesh lining and body armor on the inside. Regardless, I'd take this jacket over some of its $500 competitors any day. March 9, 2015

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
aaron b: this is a great three season jacket but in early spring a fall a light sweatshirt fits just right underneath, and as for protection this thing is great for a every day commuter it has all the right guards in the right place that done shift around when/if you go down. and when your not riding it doesn't stick out like other jackets I have seen people wear. when you want protection and warmth with out all the attention when your not riding this is the jacket for you Apr 15, 2015
Aravin P: Really awesome looking jacket. Mar 25, 2015
S T: Keeps ya moderately warm!! Watch out for the sharp edges inside the jacket, they'll poke ya! Mar 7, 2015

Brian B: I wanted a jacket i could wear on and off the bike, that was suited to the Australian climate and provided some protection. Jun 21, 2014
A shopper asked: How is the abrasion resistance for this jacket being a cotton fabric? The armor is great and all, but what about the material? Jun 26, 2014

Matthew R: While wearing the jacket, I took a spill coming around a corner at 25-30 mph and it is perfectly fine, aside from some scrapes and grass stains. The patch on the shoulder was ripped off, but that was the worst of it. Padding absorbed most of the shoulder impact. I only wish I would have threaded the belt loops to ensure that it didn't ride up at all. By lower back received minor scrapes. Dec 17, 2014

A shopper asked: It seems the Jacket has a great Air Flow, is it classified as a Summer Jacket? I am looking for a Jacket to Ride in very warm weather would that be a good pick? Oct 7, 2014

Sean H: Yes, this is definitely a summer jacket. Airflow is great! During winter, I'd recommend a thick shirt under neath it though. During the Louisiana summers, I don't even break a sweat with this jacket though. It's fantastic. Oct 8, 2014

A shopper asked: How is this for a summer riding jacket? May 15, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Justin M: I will preface this with I am generally a very warm bodied individual and I am in Utah. Personally I view the jacket as a spring and fall jacket. It does breathe fairly well so depending on how hot it gets it wont kill you to wear in the summer. The decision to do so should be based on how hot it gets where you are and how well you can handle the heat. If you feel you need to riglde with a jacket in the summer, there are probably better options. However this would probably work as well. May 15, 2014

Sean H: I'm 6'3", 190 and a large fits me perfectly. my brother has the same jacket, but a medium. He is 6'0" 160 and medium fits him perfectly. So if I were you, I'd rock the large. Apr 23, 2015

Garett F asked: I bought the Speed and Strength Stars and Stripes jacket and it fits good in the arms but is a little short in the body. This jacket seems to look a little longer in the body, I was just wondering if this jacket fits the same? Also does anyone know if the Speed and Strength Off the Chain 2.0 fits the same as well? They all look fairly similar. Feb 13, 2015

Eli H: I have the Dogs of War jacket and first and foremost I love it. But I must say it also seems to fit me a little short. I am 6'1'' about 240 (more muscle than fat, I swear haha) and I ordered an XL. When it came, the collar tag actually said XXL and I was upset until I tried it on. Glad it was XXL. The body fits very well in terms of snug-ness, and the sleeves are perfect, but it IS a little bit short on the torso. Mostly in front, and it's not a deal-breaker, but based on what you are saying about the other jacket, I think this might be the way that Speed and Strength jackets are. Good luck! Feb 13, 2015

Garett F: Thanks man. So short torso aside, you would still recommend this jacket? Feb 14, 2015
Chris C: Garrett,

I don't know how tall you are but I'm 6'4 and I'm not sure if that's just the fit of speed and strength jackets. I purchased the dogs of war jacket in a large last fall and the length of the arms and the width if the chest were perfect but the jacket was a little short for me. For an average height person (around 6'1 ) the jacket would fall comfortably below the belt line but if your my height if falls about halfway on the belt which isn't bad but it could be a little longer

A shopper asked: Does this jacket have any inside pockets? Dec 17, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Neil W: No interior pockets. I used the back protector insert area to bring home some mail (once), but the only real pockets are the 2 in the front of the jacket. Hope this helps.

Rubber side down, ride safe.
