Speed and Strength Dogs Of War Textile Jacket
Great fit for a tall rider too.
I was mostly hesitatant because most jackets are just a bit too short down my back. I'm 6'4" 230 pounds XL. It was just right, the back drops a little bit so it covers down to my belt in riding position.

i`m 6 ft and 185 pounds Medium size was a perfect fit.
Padding is where it is suppose to be. You can wear it as a regular jacket nobody will tell you are biker which is nice. You ll look like a war veteran though. I like the rugged look so for me is fine.zippers seem good and sturdy. I got the olive which is a bit darker than the one in the picture.
overall is a fine product.

Great value, great look
Received this jacket in the mail today (speedy shipping!) and am really enjoying so far. I am 6'2", 180lbs, and took a risk and ordered a medium. Nice slim fit and the jacket seems pretty high quality. Built to last. Armor is stiffer and thicker than what I was expecting, good for protection, maybe makes the jacket slightly less comfortable (not my much though) and to be honest, it's worth it for the extra protection.
If it wasn't for the belt loop fasteners to keep it from riding up, I'd say it's a little too short for me, but with those straps in place it sits perfectly on my waist. Love the cause, too! Thanks revzilla!

Great jacket for a great cause
I researched a bunch of different riding jackets and decided to give this one a whirl. I can't tell you how happy I am with it. I'm 6'0", 185lbs, with a slim build. I ordered the large and it fits great. Even if you have a little bit of a gut on you there's still enough room around the middle to be comfortable. I ride a blacked-out Harley and this jacket stays true to that outlaw style if that's what you're going for. The jacket breathes fairly well and is perfect for spring, fall, and winter riding. I live in Texas and don't plan on wearing this in the summer, it's a bit too heavy for triple digit temperatures. This is a minimalist jacket. There's no internal pockets, just mesh lining and body armor on the inside. Regardless, I'd take this jacket over some of its $500 competitors any day.

Bang for the Buck
I'd recommend it to those looking for a good summer jacket without breaking the bank (but From the feel of this jacket it is a Fall, Winter, and early Spring jacket) ,It's not too hot that you have to take it off indoors, or too cold that you'd need a different coat in the morning on the ride in to work. It has great armor in the back and elbows plus I think it looks better with the hood attached great street wear.

Excellent summer riding jacket
It's a great jacket for the summer for sure. If you had a good base layer its be decent for spring and fall as well. It has great armor in the back and elbows but seems a little thin for the shoulders. None the less the money also goes to a good cause so its a great way to help a worthwhile cause. I'd recommend it to those looking for a good summer jacket without breaking the bank. I got mine in Olive which looks awesome with my Dogs of War helmet (red/white/blue).

Awesome jacket for the price. The olive green is greener than in the picture but it looks good. Like marine corps green. I like the proceeds going to help dogs that come black from combat because those pups get PTSD just like everyone else and need the help. The armor is solid. I'm 5' 11" and about 160lbs and the jacket fits me nicely (medium)

Great style and comfort
First off, if you like this style of jacket that's a bit different, you will love this one. It's simply a great look, no doubt about it. I've gotten many people come up and comment on the jacket, including both from the military riding crowd, the cafe racer types, and many non-riders.
Comfort makes me think of that great jean jacket we all had back in the 80's that you wore everywhere all the time. It's not too hot that you have to take it off indoors, or too cold that you'd need a different coat in the morning on the ride in to work. I wouldn't mind a bit more ventilation, but I've wore this on normal hot Colorado days without a problem.
I'm not quite sure why there's a hood on it, but it's removable so I don't worry about it.
