Zach P: Best protection at this price and looks boss.Jun 10, 2015
Josh S: Needed a good summer jacket and it fits great, not too heavy, look stylish, and was a good price point and I love that some of the proceeds go to the Warrior Dog FoundationMay 27, 2015
aaron b: this is a great three season jacket but in early spring a fall a light sweatshirt fits just right underneath, and as for protection this thing is great for a every day commuter it has all the right guards in the right place that done shift around when/if you go down. and when your not riding it doesn't stick out like other jackets I have seen people wear. when you want protection and warmth with out all the attention when your not riding this is the jacket for youApr 15, 2015
Matthew R:While wearing the jacket, I took a spill coming around a corner at 25-30 mph and it is perfectly fine, aside from some scrapes and grass stains. The patch on the shoulder was ripped off, but that was the worst of it. Padding absorbed most of the shoulder impact. I only wish I would have threaded the belt loops to ensure that it didn't ride up at all. By lower back received minor scrapes.Dec 17, 2014
Sean H:Yes, this is definitely a summer jacket. Airflow is great! During winter, I'd recommend a thick shirt under neath it though. During the Louisiana summers, I don't even break a sweat with this jacket though. It's fantastic.Oct 8, 2014
Justin M:I will preface this with I am generally a very warm bodied individual and I am in Utah. Personally I view the jacket as a spring and fall jacket. It does breathe fairly well so depending on how hot it gets it wont kill you to wear in the summer. The decision to do so should be based on how hot it gets where you are and how well you can handle the heat. If you feel you need to riglde with a jacket in the summer, there are probably better options. However this would probably work as well.May 15, 2014
Chris C:I'm 6'4 190 and the large is just a tiny bit short, but the width is good so if I were you I'd go with that. If you want something that's gonna be tight maybe a medium but the large is perfect for having a hoodie underneath for me. Apr 23, 2015
A shopper asked:I wear a 3 XL Tourmaster transistions 3 motorcycle jacket, but for a normal jacket I wear a 2 XL. As this has no liner and is more like a regular jacket, what size would you recommend? JerryMay 6, 2015
keith w:I decided to go up 1 size from my normal everyday jacket size and it fits great. I was right on the upper end of the size limits for my normal jacket size based on their measurements. I would recommend going up the size. This jacket is much more comfortable with a little wiggle room. Spray it down with a good waterproofing spray if you plan to hit any rain on the way! I really like the look and feel. The padding is comfortable too.May 6, 2015
Isaac M:I ordered it true to size. I typically wear a L jacket, and so I ordered this in a L and it fits perfectly. Not a lot of room for thick base layers, but it is a summer jacket anyway. Hope that helps!May 7, 2015
Garett F asked:I bought the Speed and Strength Stars and Stripes jacket and it fits good in the arms but is a little short in the body. This jacket seems to look a little longer in the body, I was just wondering if this jacket fits the same? Also does anyone know if the Speed and Strength Off the Chain 2.0 fits the same as well? They all look fairly similar.Feb 13, 2015
Eli H:I have the Dogs of War jacket and first and foremost I love it. But I must say it also seems to fit me a little short. I am 6'1'' about 240 (more muscle than fat, I swear haha) and I ordered an XL. When it came, the collar tag actually said XXL and I was upset until I tried it on. Glad it was XXL. The body fits very well in terms of snug-ness, and the sleeves are perfect, but it IS a little bit short on the torso. Mostly in front, and it's not a deal-breaker, but based on what you are saying about the other jacket, I think this might be the way that Speed and Strength jackets are. Good luck!Feb 13, 2015
I don't know how tall you are but I'm 6'4 and I'm not sure if that's just the fit of speed and strength jackets. I purchased the dogs of war jacket in a large last fall and the length of the arms and the width if the chest were perfect but the jacket was a little short for me. For an average height person (around 6'1 ) the jacket would fall comfortably below the belt line but if your my height if falls about halfway on the belt which isn't bad but it could be a little longerFeb 13, 2015
I'm checking out the Dogs of War textile jacket by Speed and Strength. I'm really digging all the positive reviews and the cause supported. I just have one question, style is a key factor in any common rider's gear selection so I just want to know, is the olive color like an army olive green or is it more on the brown side like the picture shows?Jun 4, 2015
