Speed and Strength Dogs Of War Textile Jacket
Great mix of style, fit, utility, and protection.
Found this Dogs of War jacket to fit perfectly (I normally wear an XL and ordered an XL). Looks great and the price is nice for a jacket with included elbow, shoulder, and back armor. Plenty of pockets and a removable hood if that's your style. Free next day shipping from Philly to DC is a big plus too! Two thumbs up!

Great fit, and great look!
I really like the way this jacket fits, and the way it looks. The protection seems adequate, hopefully I won't have to test it. The only things I don't like are the way it bunches in the chest while riding, and the lack of inside pockets. Oh well.

Fits a little tight
A very nice product, very protective. I'm a bigger build kind of guy (longer arms than for my size, broader shoulders than for my size) and I bought a 2XL to fit me comfortably (I normally wear an XL) and it still tight and short on me. But overall a very nice jacket!

good jacket for moderate weather around town.
excellent jacket for wearing around town. not airtight enough for really cool temps but not a mesh jacket either. cotton construction feels comfortable if not as sturdy as other textile jackets. i really like the jacket given those limitations and i'm wearing it often. though i probably wouldn't take it along for a long trip. elbow and shoulder pads sit at the right place. back pad a little clunky but not enough to bother me. I live in coastal san diego and this jacket is great for cool-ish marine-layer summer mornings and evenings. gets a little hot during the day. fit is as described. i'm 6'2" 190 and i bought an extra large. fits great across the shoulders and is a bit loose at waist--but i'm an outlier here probably. (small waist size relative to shoulders)
best thing: protection without looking like i'm trying to be a racer. i wish there were more gear in neutral colors and low-key designs.

Great Jacket (not for summer)
At this price point, you won't find better protection. The armor is solid, and the material is thick and comfortable.
Above 80 degrees, however, the jacket feels uncomfortable. With the armor and black color, it just soaks up heat. It does flow air well, so at speed on a cloudy day, I sweat less.
I can see this being a two- or three-season jacket, but I'll be looking for something lighter for the Kentucky summers (90+ and humid).

Ok, this is exactly what I wanted, a low profile riding jacket that suits my Softail Slim & Biltwell Gringo.
Armour is more than average, style is cool, fit is great.... UNLESS you have a beer gut, pot belly, or just plain round, like me. I imagined that an American fit would allow for a few too many beers... It seems that this barely does. All round I love this jacket, don't get me wrong. And it does fit. Really well.
Look at it as inspiration to change your life style, and look even cooler at the same time!
As far as air flow goes.... I've ridden with it through winter (under a leather jacket) to spring, and now the beginning of summer (so far, so good...). I think it depends on your tolerance, but I think mid summer (for fat or thin) will be sweaty!
I love the fee/look/quality l of this jacket, and would buy again!

Good looking jacket on and off the bike
This jacket is comfortable for riding and casual wear. Love having the hood and the armor. Not real big armor pieces so it doesn't look like a riding jacket off the bike. Breathes very well while riding so not great for cold weather. Also like the charity this jacket supports. Overall, I'm very pleased.
