Speed and Strength Black 9 Moto Shirt
It's a great flannel shirt, but a little pricey for the amount of kevlar they put in it.

Better than nothing style
The little dudes say it is a bit large. At 220 with a 52" chest, the XXL runs smaller than I would have liked. It fits over a t-shirt, but not much else. If you're sporting a bit of a belly, jump up a size as it is a tad snug across the waistline for us "full figure" guys. I was hoping to fit a hoodie under it, but it is too snug. Also, the flannel is very thin. Not a thick flannel by any means. The Kevlar panels are on the shoulders & elbows and are not too bulky, making this a great after sundown light weight jacket. Killer style. I Scotchguarded mine so it could withstand light rain. The zipper keeps it from blowing up/around while riding. Works well under a vest as well. Goes great with the Moto 9 sneakers for that anti-Village People look! One of my favorites to throw in my swing-arm bag "just in case".

I bought this because I wanted something for the really hot days. This works great for that. Looks like a normal flannel shirt, which it is for the most part. It just has a jersey like material liner and small amounts of kevlar in the elbows and shoulders. I wish it had more kevlar for the price. Also maybe an inside pocket. I would expect something like this to be 50 bucks, not 90.

Worth the wait!
This shirt is awesome! The front zipper and snaps make this shirt super functional as it doesn't allow wind to gust up and blow the shirt all over the place, especially at high speeds. I normally wear size large, but I wanted to wear it over my Speed and Strength Armored Hoodie (Large) so I ordered the XL, and it's perfect! The shirt over the armored hoodie is now my favorite combo! It looks great, it's super comfortable and I'm glad I waited the extra month or two for the shirt to arrive. Another great product from Speed and Strength and another great recommendation from Revzilla!

Great Shirt, Perfect for Summer
The styling and fit on this short are great (although I wish it didn't have the company name on the back, but at least it is understated).
Shirt is heavier than a regular flannel, and is just warm enough for cool mornings and light enough for spring/summer riding. Great way to add some protection if not wearing a jacket. Zipper is also a great addition.
All in all, I would definitely recommend, although I'd love to see more colors and maybe see the price to go below $75.

summer riding essetnial
firstly i have to say this is a summer riding essential were i am the temperatures get up to 122f in summer, and i have a mesh jacket which is still warm so i usually just wear a t shirt and cut.
i rode for the first time with this in the other day, just through some back streets were and wind doesnt cool you down as you arent getting up to speed, and to be honest it didnt feel like i was wearing a shirt, it felt as if i wasnt wearning anything, so im very very happy with the shirt.
but the there is but. when i ordered the shirt i just went with teh revzilla write up about it, and didnt do any more research, and i think i may have misunderstood the write up. the shirt is kevlar lined but online on the elbows and shoulders, these are however fairly large patches but still i was buying the shirt with the assumption it was fully lined with kevlar. so it is my mistake, also it is a little big but i didnt want a tight fitting shirt so it is fine. for comparison, i have a xl harley davidson regular fit jacket which fits like a glove and i orderd a 3xl shirt and the shirt is loose.
all in all a good shirt and well worth the money.

good looks but protection would be welcome
gives rough appearance, perfect fit for me size L, good quality. I recommend it only for short trips in the city, has no protection.
