Worth the money! I have had problems in the past fitting a leather boot under my shifter, so I switched to more technical boots, which are not as tall in the toe area. This boot replaces another short boot that suffered toe-cap collapse on both boots. The toe protection here feels much more substantial. The air flow is good, and there seems to be a ton of protection. I will probably have my shoemaker glue a thin sole on to the bottom for more tread, and to make the boots last longer, as I wear these for travel, which involves walking around a lot. These seem plenty wide in the foot, even though billed as slightly narrower than standard. I'm not sure I love the silver accent, but the rest of the features are what I want. June 6, 2015
No good for large legs I've had a lot of trouble finding boots to protect my ankles because I apparently have freakishly large calves compared to whoever these boots were modeled around. I got these hoping they would fit since they didn't need to go over the calves. I was wrong. The didn't even zip up over my ankles. Very disappointing since these boots are well made, have lots of protection, and look great. The sole sizing was perfect, I just wish these weren't made for women with tiny bird bones. Hopefully a pair of men's boots will fit. June 1, 2015
This product looks a million. Great look, lot of features and after a while also very comfortable. April 13, 2015
Not Good for New Riders Bought these boots about a week ago and right out the box they are super stiff. I could not shift in these boots at all. I bought a regular pair of work boots (like construction boots) and was able to shift with no problem. So as a new rider i would not recommend buying these as your first pair or if you do just know it will take allot of effort learning how to shift in these boots. I will be using mines for when i do aggressive riding but just everyday commuting i will be using my work boots atleast til I get better at shifting January 23, 2015
Love this boot I've worn Sidi mid-calf boots for 8 years and was so excited when I saw Sidi had a short boot for women. This boot has not disappointed. It took about a week for the stiffness to go away and to get used to shifting ....but now it fits like a well worn glove. They are significantly cooler when riding on days when the temperatures are in the 90s+. Ankle is fully protected. I get a lot of compliments on them from non-riders. I even wear them if I am not riding! Happy, Happy July 22, 2014
Best Women's Low Riding Boot This is an awesome example of a low riding boot. It is very stylish, quality built, super features and the fit is just right. Two side air vents allow for ventilation on hot days. These boots will take you from zero to "go" in no time at all and they look awesome. July 21, 2014
excellent! I came looking for a good pair of boots to try on for when I get out on the road this season. Hiking boots didnt cut it! I tried them on in a few sizes and the associates explained proper fit. Walking aroind the store I found they were very comfortable! I bought them on the spot. :) May 26, 2014
Great fit and Protection I have larger calves due to sports so most of the higher track boots will not fit. These are great! Had to break them in for a day for a better fit, altho on the bike the angle is perfect and they were very comfortable. Trying to walk in them when new is...interesting... due to the armor. But when broken in they are Perfect! May 5, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Lena B: CE rated women specific Sidi short, well protected performance boot for sport bike riding. It completely covers the ankle bone, has vents that open/close, and bolted bits for replacement once worn down. It is my first time buying a motorbike specific boot that is not Gore Tex or tall, but I had found although that last motorbike boot lasted 7 years, I was wearing my 12" Frye Engineer boots 9/10 rides anyway, which aren't tall or vented or armored. Hoping a non leather boot breaks in. Jul 8, 2015
Jana S: They the best looking booths I have found and all the reviews were positive. Jan 13, 2015
Sandra A: Love the brand ..have been buying for 10 years. First short boot I've seen for women. Aug 30, 2014
Michaela L: The SIDI Apex Lei boots were my first choice primarily because of the brand reputation and functionality for a hot climate, but also because of their good looks, without having to compromise on foot and ankle protection. Jun 15, 2014
T O: Gift for a friend. They look cool! I've always wanted a pair of ankle boots for myself but with my riding style it's best I go with a full Sidi boot. Apr 23, 2014
Datleen V asked: Hi Everyone... Question will these boots add alil height to the rider I am rather short and just need alil bit of extra height but cant really afford the Dayton boots? Or if you know of any boots that will give alil height thats not going to break my pockets? Jan 1, 2015

Teri W: These boots won't give you any extra height. But they are super lightweight and very comfortable! I'm not familiar with any boots that have a big heel.l Jan 1, 2015

Kim M: Nope. Don't count on these boots giving you the needed height. I ended up having my bike lowered instead. Jan 1, 2015

A shopper asked: Has anyone with a wide-width foot tried these boots? I wear a ladies size 7D. Sep 9, 2014

V E: REV sent me an email to respond--so I can only write that I'm a 7 B and I would THINK that a D foot would be uncomfortably cramped. Maybe a 7.5 ~ and while I LOVE these boots the fit for me is close as a B.

I solve that with ultrathin socks ~ Recommend the Boot highly~ for a D? I would think most definitely not.

Maureen W: Hello Fellow Rider,
I also wear a D width in shoes and boots. There is plenty of room in these boots, and you can even wear boots socks if you desire. I'd get them if I were you. Happy riding.

A shopper asked: How is the sizing on this boot? I wear between an 8.5-9....whata recommend? Thanks for your time. Jun 24, 2014

V E: I've worn them twice, all day, I'm a 7 street shoe and bot a 7 SIDI and they fit great. HOWEVER I wore thin socks(thick felt too tight) and then they're terrific. Cute(ok-stylish, is probably a better word) and relatively light on the foot compared to my husband's SIDI racing boots which feel like a block of concrete(he loves 'em).

I am only a passenger and new to the sport so I cannot comment on how they function if you were driving your BMW K13S(he loves The Beast too) but for getting on and off the bike they work great~ the seat is 40'' high(he raised the back end) and I'm 5' 0'' but they work for me. I can't say that I would expect to walk for very long in them(kinda sled-feeling because of the sole) but you can get around fine in spurts. YES! for riding NO! for hiking (w)~ For the money I'd score them 10 out of 10. They got it all: function and looks~

Thomas P: I wear a 6.5-7 and ordered a 7 they were way to big!! So I returned to the great people at revzilla and got a 5.5 and they fit perfect. So I would say a size down to a size and a half! Hope this helps!!! Jun 25, 2014

A shopper asked: How tall are these boots? Some trackday orgs require a boot 8" or more high.
I'd guess they mean from the ground to the top cuff??

Datleen V: From the ground to the highest point on the boot it is right under 8". Hope this helps Mar 1, 2015

Datleen V asked: Hi Everyone

I wear a 6 in mens (nike's ) and a 7 in womens. Will the size 39 fit? If i go of the size chart it says I should be a 39.

Derric G: In my cycling shoes a 44.5 is a 10.5" and a 45 is an 11" so the 39 is a size 6.5" Jan 23, 2015

Maureen W asked: How is the sizing of this boot? I wear a 9.....would a 9.5 be too big?

V E: I am a 7 street shoe and a 7 WITH THIN socks works for me. I'd GUESS that thick socks might make the difference for you--but you don't want your foot sliding all around in the boot. REV has a nice return policy--if I were you, I'd get the 9, wear thin socks and give it a rip. I'm betting you'll be happy. Failing that--send 'em back and get the 9 .5-~ it's a slick boot! I adore 'em and told my husband the first night that I was wearing them to bed. That didn't work out but the boots did. Jun 25, 2014

A shopper asked: I was wondering how they would hold up in moderate rain for approx 20 min commute from work to home or vice versa? Apr 21, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
N G: It'll be fine, it's sturdy and thick enough to get you through the tough weather. Not 100% water proof though so don't go swimming in them :) Apr 21, 2014
