SIDI Vertigo Mega Rain Boots
I'll be a repeat buyer
Feet stay warm and dry. I bought a 1/2 size larger in case I needed thicker sock in sub freezing temps, but so far they've been good down to 35 in normal sock. Only drawback I have had with many pairs of Sidi boots is the soles tend to wear out somewhat quicker than other brands, but that is a small price to pay for excellent traction on all surfaces. Very happy with these boots.

Excellent construction and materials
Fantastic boot. Very stylish and comfortable.
Just got back from a trip to the smoky mtns and the boots were great. The weather was from 50-75 degrees and feet were never cold nor too warm. Would highly recommend these boots if used during moderate temps as they have no ventilation being considered rain boots. revzilla was very helpful in the decision making process also. Thank you Revzilla!!!!

First impressions.. Great boots
These Sidi boots are of excellent quality. I'll need a little more time to break them in, but I think they will be comfortble. I have a fairly wide foot, and the size 11.5 feels a little snug at the ball of the foot. Shifting takes a little for precision compared to a softer boot, but throwing them on for the first time at the track may not have been the best place to get used to them..
An easy 9 out of 10.. (And I take alot of time to do research before I purchace most things

I have 21.5" calves and couldn't find a single boot that would zip to my calves. These zipped up without any issues without my track leathers. When I tried with my leathers it was a bit of a struggle but they did zip. I will say its a bit tight just below the calf but I'm hoping they will break in a little bit.
Overall these are great boots and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent boot - good value
I also have a pair of the SIDI Vortice Air boots, and while they're fantastic for riding in Queensland (warm humid conditions similar to LA), whenever I go touring it seems to rain and/or be freezing cold. The fully perforated Vortice Air boots let all the water in, and the fantastic air flow soon has your feet frozen solid....hence the Vertigo Mega Rain boot purchase. I bought the Mega rain so that I could fit a thicker sock under them for cold / rainy conditions - I find that the Vortice Air boots are a little snug across the widest part of my foot, and they take quite a while to break in. The Mega rain boots seem to me to be far more comfortable, width-wise, whilst still feeling like the high end race boots that I'm used to. Of course Murphys Law being what it is, I haven't been caught in a downpour since buying them, but the boots are very well made and are a quality piece of kit. Highly recommended, especially if you have broad feet. there is also a large calf adjustment range for those who need it.

Narrow heel, wide forefoot
Bottom Line: this is the widest sport boot I could find
I wear a 4E running shoe for my "hobbit"-wide forefoot.
I tried 7 other pairs from Revzilla, and this was the widest.
Pros: wide forefoot, narrow heel; solid construction, replaceable abrasion parts
Cons: would be better with a vented version, wider toe box (yep), and inner bootie.
If someone makes a boot with all above, I want to buy it!
Summary: widest sport boot available with very solid construction. I have 2000 miles thus far (trip to Tail of Dragon in NC), and it's a good boot. I did use a mechanical stretcher to widen it further, with moderate success.

Will fit a 6E width foot with stretching.
Bought this boot knowing I have extra wide feet (6E) and the advertised width is 2E. I ordered the Vertigo Mega one size larger than I normally would. Went to work using FootFitter's wooden boot stretcher. I used FootFitter's supplied plastic 'bumps' to create extra space and just cranked the cr*p out of the stretcher. It took a few days to stretch out, but the extra effort worked. Rode for two hours with no discomfort. Sweating in 80+ degrees helped with small hot spots. Decent venting but could have used more air flow. Calf adjustment was midway with leathers tucked in.
