Blair S: because they are great comfortable writing shoot for the summerJun 2, 2014
KENNETH B: Wanted light summer shoe with some protection. I have worn them once - I bought 42 and should have bought at least a 43. Still regretting not trying them sooner so I could exchange them. This was my bad.May 3, 2014
Mohan M: A nice stylish everyday riding boot at a resonable price.Mar 15, 2014
Christopher K: Good reviews and was a decent choice for the price.Feb 26, 2014
Kyle J: they were only $99 and I needed some protection.Dec 3, 2013
Vance P: My speed and strength boots (I forget which model) fell apart, I wanted something different that would still be comfortable walking around for work or school all day after commuting. These are great. Love the ankle protection they offer, extremely well vented as well. Wore them up until recently when it started raining heavily and I've been warm, but they are pretty much the opposite of water proof (which is fine, I got them expecting them to be summer only). Work fine spring to fall.Nov 8, 2013
JONATHAN N asked:How does this shoe compare to the alpine stars fastlane in terms of fit, protection, and flex? I typically wear a size 12D in Asia's running shoes having slightly wide feet. ThanksOct 12, 2013
Robert B:I have never worn the Alpinestars shoe but I've been wearing the Sidis for about a year. I feel there is a good balance between protection and flexibility. They're comfortable enough to wear all day although I don't. I wear a size 10 in Nikes and the Sidi size 10 fit me perfectly. The width seems about "normal". I have a somewhat narrow foot and these fit a little loose. I would not classify them as wide though. Bottom line for me is, I love these shoes. The styling is not over-the-top, the ventilation is nice and the overall quality is excellent.Oct 15, 2013
Pete A:The NY "boots" are very flexible. Maybe too flexible. The shoes get much wider as you wear them. Mine are now tightened up as tight as possible and they keep getting wider. They are not good protection at all. The are good walking shoes, but not any better than a running shoe at motorcycle protection.
I've been wearing them as a pair of walking/tennis shoes and after about a month they are just about worn out. In the same conditions a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors I get about 6 months.
