This is a great helmet. I purchased this for my wife and she loves it! Very quiet she says. You get what you pay for and this is one of the best !

Easily best money spent
The Helmet is solid. Very comfortable, everything was as described in the video. For around town the vents are perfect, I'm rarely hot. On the free way I'll close a couple of them for noise reduction and viola, smooth sailing.

Sick Helmet
This helmet is not expensive considering its going to protect the most valuable part of your body. It fits nice and snug, awesome ventilation and the pattern scheme is pretty cool.The only bad thing about this helmet is that you cant leave hanging on your bike because someone will SWOOP it :).

Amazing Helmet...mostly.
Love all most everything about this helmet. Vision is tip top with the wider screen; comfort is great; adjustability and features are fantastic; air-flow is money. However, on that last one, I'm a little confused. The seven adjustable vents allow for all kinds of customization for airflow, which I absolutely love. But, on a cool morning or evening, it really does nothing to de-fog the lens; similarly, the lens lock lever (3 levels of adjustment) has an setting that slightly cracks the screen for even more airflow, and is specifically designed to de-fog the lens... again, if cold out, it doesn't really work. I may get the pin-locks... we'll see. Other than that, it's a great buy!

Love the design and fit of Helmet.
The graphics were what drew me to the helmet but the fit and features are great as well. I got the revese color option for my wife which was a cool feature of this helmet. It cost more than other helmets but overall I am very pleased with the purchase. Would recommend Shoei RF 1100 helmet to other riders. Spent about 5 hours in the helmet one day on a long ride and was not sore at all. Very comfortable.

Awesome helmet - crash tested
Awesome helmet, great fit and comfortable - Crashed wearing one of these going upwards of 130mph with no injuries to the head or neck. Only damage to the helmet was a broken vent on the front - ended up snapping off the other one so it would match. Amazing protection, will never go with another helmet brand again. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Definitely not a category you want to skimp on.

What a helmet should be, cost, and feel like.
I bought this in Matte Black (bad idea), size large, and got it to my door (SoCal) in less than 36 hours. I’ve had it for 3 months now and use it on a daily basis riding 80 miles round trip to and from work. It just works and was a good justifiable purchase for me. No buyer’s remorse like many of my purchases.
The good: The fit was spot on, but I knew this already trying one on locally. The multiple vents on top and the one in front of your mouth are nice to have, but I rarely use them. The optional chin guard and anti-fog thing by your nose I use and they seem to do their job quite well. The quality of the inside doesn’t feel cheap, and it’s well put together compared to cheaper in cost helmets out there. It comes with a Shoei bag to carry it in which I use frequently as well. The visor is nice and snaps back in quite easily if you need to change it. I’m still using the stock clear one but will go dark smoke eventually.
The bad: The matte finish is easily chipped. That or something hit me in the head in a couple spots that I don’t know about. I have a couple small scratches and a couple small chips that I was disappointed to see. It looks great, but I can’t recommend the matte finish for durability. I also had the most annoying whistle coming through the visor at speeds above 70mph. It bugged me for a couple weeks then I found out I had to squeeze it closed after it felt closed already. That’s hard to explain but even when closed there must be the smallest hole in the seal somewhere to let a whistle in. I took the shield off once and easily replaced it (good), but that didn’t solve my problem.
I wasn’t looking for anything flashy so this helmet fit the bill perfectly. Great price, at my door very fast, and everything I expected in it. The foam doesn’t seem like it will fall apart anytime soon, and can be replaced easily with spares you can buy. There’s Shoei replacement shields which are an added plus for me as I hope to try some of the others soon enough. It’s light enough as well, and doesn’t cost a small fortune either. I would buy this one over again and probably will in a couple years.
The vision in this helmet is great as well. I couldn’t get a grasp on this while in a store, but on the freeway I was happy with the extra peripheral vision this helmet provided. I also don’t get my head tossed around in the wind, this is presumably due to the design of the helmet. There’s great airflow over and into this helmet even with the vents closed, which doesn’t keep it silent obviously, but it’s one or the other.
