Great Helmet, Almost
Fit: Helmet fit great. I have a 58cm head and the medium was what I needed. I ordered a large and it was too big.
Features: The features on this helmet are great, almost. The vent are easy to use as well as the drop down visor. The only problem is, for a helmet supposed to be great for glasses, the drop down visor come so close to the face that it hits the top of my glasses. I wear pretty low profile glasses and this still happened.
If your buying this helmet for the use with glasses I would highly recommend against it.

Good features and glows in the dark
This helmet has a very wide field of vision and I like the detent positions on the visor. Its a little heavy due to the integrated sun visor but that's what I was primarily looking for. I have two complaints though. The first is that it doesn't flow a lot of air and the second is that when I left it in a slightly damp area of the garage overnight the glow in the dark white parts if the helmet developed small bubbles everywhere. So probably not going to be a good helmet to use in the rain.

This helmet glows in the dark
This is my second Shark helmet with the internal sun visor. The second gen sun visors cover a lot more area making it a nicer view out of the very wide view port. The white parts of the paint scheme GLOW in the dark, something not advertised I found out after riding with it for the first time. It is very comfortable, balanced, and pretty quiet. The only negative is the air flow is not that great... The chin strap also seems to be about an inch too long. Better ventilation and this helmet would rate a 10 out of 10, as it is I'll give it a solid 8

A shopper asked:After trying on tons of helmets the only two that fit well are the Icon Alliance and the Shoei RF1100. Will the Vision R or the Speed R work with my intermediate to long oval head shape?Aug 26, 2012
RevZilla:The Shark Vision-R is considered to be an intermediate oval headshape, whereas the Speed-R is still intermediate oval, but a little more on the neutral side. The fit will be similar to a Shoei RF-1100 or an Icon Alliance; however, not as long oval as these 2 helmets.Aug 28, 2012
