SHARK R&D engineers have created a helmet that offers the panoramic eyeport of an open-face helmet, for one of the widest view angles currently on the market, combined with the safety of the latest generation of full-face fiber-composite shells.
The SHARK patented faceshield mechanism ensures a perfect seal which equates to better soundproofing, less draft and an improved water-tight seal. The Rapid Anti-Fog System slightly opens the shield in anti-mist position. This has been designed to operate smoothly with the use of gloves.

This helmet glows in the dark
This is my second Shark helmet with the internal sun visor. The second gen sun visors cover a lot more area making it a nicer view out of the very wide view port. The white parts of the paint scheme GLOW in the dark, something not advertised I found out after riding with it for the first time. It is very comfortable, balanced, and pretty quiet. The only negative is the air flow is not that great... The chin strap also seems to be about an inch too long. Better ventilation and this helmet would rate a 10 out of 10, as it is I'll give it a solid 8

The clear shields that come on the helmet are UV resistant, but the exact resistance isn't listed. I believe the tinted options that are sold separately are 100% UV resistant. Hope this helps!Cheers,

The Shark Vision-R is considered to be an intermediate oval headshape, whereas the Speed-R is still intermediate oval, but a little more on the neutral side. The fit will be similar to a Shoei RF-1100 or an Icon Alliance; however, not as long oval as these 2 helmets.8 months ago
