I have owned this helmet for a couple months and put well over 700 miles on my bike with it.
I purchased this helmet because I really liked the modular concept and this product seemed to not only have accomplished that but did it really well. It looks great, it is comfortable to wear, easy to operate and my head feels exceptionally safe within it. The fact that it glows after having absorbed light makes this a safe helmet too, which I really appreciate. The only issues I have found with this helmet is that it is quite heavy (what with the hinges and visor mechanisms it is bound to be heavier than normal) and the top vent seems to be pretty inefficient. I can't really speak to how efficient it is in the rain as I have only ever been caught in a light sprinkle and had no issues. I have, however, been caught in a heavy hail storm and didn't experience any problems with that :]
Pros:
+ Fits Well (Larger than normal)
+ Modular
* Full Face riding position
* 3/4 Helm riding position
+ Comfortable
* Double D-Ring chin strap
* Padding
+ Glows in the dark
+ Integrated Sun Visor
+ Easy to take out and put in visors (sun and clear)
+ Easy to Operate
+ Designed to integrate with Sharktooth Bluetooth
+ 5 YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY (image included)
Cons:
- Heavy
- Inefficient top vent
Summarily, I have had very few issues with this helmet and I believe that it is well worth the money. I would absolutely recommend this product to others.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have been using a Kox modular helmet for the last 2 years that I paid 65.00 dollars for. For my birthday this year I was able to purchase a nice helmet for myself and spend some real money on a real good one. I had many to choose from and chose this Shark because of the features and the reviews.
When I received the helmet and tried it the first time I was really blown away by how loud the wind noise was. I expected to have some improvement over my 70 dollar helmet, but it was literally painfully worse.
I just rode in the rain with it and it accumulates puddles on the inside of the visor near the center, in front of my nose. I have checked the seals and the chin bar position and am very unhappy with this aspect of the helmet.
The chin strap is uncomfortable and am not sure why it is so bulky that unless you leave it loose it chokes you and presses uncomfortably on the under side of your chin.
The price I paid for this helmet I truly expected a vast improvement over my Kox, but it is far from. You are paying for the glow in the dark features and the chin bar, the rest of the helmet is quite terrible.
Pros Comfortable
Cons Chin strap uncomfortable, Very Loud, Leaks in rain
No, I do not recommend this product.

They seem to run differant in size to other product suggest you try it on. I wear a Medium in most other helmets and a Small in this helmet. Its got tons of features that make it a great value. I love the versitility of being able to ride as a 3/4 or full face. The Glow in the dark is a bonus I like being more visible to other motorist.
Pros Great Value, Comfortable, most features
Cons Noise with clear shield up
Yes, I recommend this product.

In my quest to find the perfect helmet, I came to the Shark Evoline E-tec Lumi. Coming from a lifetime of Arai, I tried on helmets from (almost literally) every major manufacturer. I was looking for a flip-up with internal sunshield that was solidly made, wouldn't fog easily, and was water-tight. Being able to add on Bluetooth and not have a huge wart on the side would be a plus. I really liked the Schuberth C3 but I took a flyer on the Shark at almost half the price and glad I did! Almost the quality of the Schuberth and it glows in the dark to boot. It does make it look a bit like a floating alien head, but cars seem to notice me even more. It works just like the tritium used in watches by storing light and giving off a luminescent glow. Fairly sedate styling with a "Tron"-like appearance. It's worked well on several rides in the Pacific Northwest so far with no leaks or fogging. Can't wait for summer to use it with the chin-guard back. I had some questions about my order and Chris K was awesome and responded very quickly to my emails. Overall, I am very pleased and plan on ordering the Sharktooth when it becomes available (through Revzilla, of course!). Be sure to get a size smaller as these run large.
Pros safety factor, Comfortable, Fashionable
Yes, I recommend this product.

Answer:
Unfortunately, Shark is no longer being imported to the US so what is currently available is all that is left for the time being. We are looking into other importers or options for Shark at this time, but can't guarantee anything yet. Shark is still sold by European dealers, but we just don't have a US point of contact for them.

Hopefully this problem will be solved within the next few months as other distributors look to import Shark to fill this gap.

Hello,
I'd really like to purchase the Shark Evoline ST E tec lumi, but see you are out of stock as of today.
Questions:
1) When are these going to be available?
2) I wear a XL size Shoei modular which fits me fine, but some reviewers claim ordering Shark in XL size will in fact be too large.and I should order a Medium size. I have a round head and find Shoei helmets tend to fit best, but would appreciate your input to help me get best fit to purchase the Shark.

Based on your experience with Shoei, I would recommend a size LG as they tend to run one size big. You shouldn't have any issue with head-shape as these fit quite round. If you choose the size that you are looking for you will see a yellow box appear over the product image that allows you to insert your e-mail for notification when these come back to inventory.
