Get one if you can
It's a great helmet. It's like three helmets in one. The quality is great the functionality is great. I looked at a lot of other helmets but I've purchased three of these helmets. It's very aerodynamic. The only thing that I don't like is the way the cushions squeeze your face. It just let's you know that it's a very secure fit the helmet has one shell size. Sizing is determined by the amount of cushion even when you have a small head you're really wearing a big helmet. Atlanta to Texas in it no problem.

It fits my head!
After trying helmets on for a week, the Shark was the first one to fit my head shape. HJC's, Bell's, and Icon's all put too much pressure on the front and back of my head.
I kept hearing that the Shark helmets were too noisy, so maybe I was expecting it to be much louder than it actually is... but I've found the sound levels to be fine. The only issue, noise-wise, has been the top vent has a slight rattle at speed.
Other than that, I'm very happy with the features. It's comfortable with the jaw open and closed in 80 degree weather, and the tinted drop-down visor is easy enough to raise/lower while riding.

Great looking versatile helmet!
Kind of heavy and big but I think its a great helmet for the money, I had been looking at them for a while and then happened to catch a sale. The rollover of the chin bar is smooth and firm, same with the locks. Build quality is on par for the cost. Little tight but its breaking in and has a nice snug fit now. Looks great in either position! Vents don't flow too well, isn't really a problem unless it rains, just convert to open face!

Seems to have everything
Seems to do everything I expected - fit - style. The fold over feature of the chin guard is the best. Without the fold down feature, when up the guard is like a sail - catching the breeze and it finally broke when I caught it on the overhead as I was driving into the shed. Also, this helmet looks cool!. As far as air transfer, I will have to wait till the heat of summer to comment but I am hoping that adjustments with the visor and the chin guard will be sufficient.

Very versatile product with classic look
The Evoline 2 ST helmet is an excellent option for those who want full face protection with the option to lift the chin guard for air or conversation at stopping points.

Great multi-use lid
I had been riding with a Roof Boxer-V for comfort in the city and a Shoei TZ-R for quiet on the highway and this has replaced them both.
I still switch back to the Roof on really hot days but I do 90% of my riding with the Shark. I have also had a lot of comments from other riders at night as the E-Tec Lumi glow in the dark graphics really stand out. After all, safety first (but vanity isn't far behind).

From Shark's warranty page:http://www.shark-helmets.com/app/ga..."If during the warranty period (5 years as from the date of purchase), a problem covered by the warranty were to arise, SHARK, through the intermediary of its sales network, undertakes to repair or replace any defective components, up to a maximum limit which is the purchase value of the helmet. Any labour costs are normally paid by the SHARK network, but are submitted for approval prior to the work being carried out.
If the repair requires components to be dispatched incurring transportation costs, the SHARK network shall cover these costs up to a limit which is the cost of transport by the national postal service at the normal rate."

I tried measuring the way they stated with a cloth tape. It showed that I clearly needed a large. FAIL ... I needed an extra large. Order 2 sizes and return one. Remember, fit is important!Age: 55-64

The Shark Evoline 2 was designed to specifically integrate the Sharktooth system. Other aftermarket systems may be used but be advised that the helmet's contour and chin-bar mechanism/motion may obstruct ideal placement of fixed-boom systems. The Sena SMH5, for example, might work well thanks to its smaller, low-profile design and attachable boom microphone.1 year ago

Good question. As great a helmet as the 2 is, the 3 has some notable enhancements. It does show up on the Shark USA site, and there are postings online that indicate a possible July availability in the USANB Peut-être c'est un problème de relations franco-américaines. The difference probably originates from the possibility that Shark weighed a different shell size than we did. If Shark weighed their XS size, then it would come up lighter than us weighing the XL size. In any case, the Schuberth is definitely lighter than the Evoline.Age: 25-34
