Jacket leaves you with peace of mind
I ordered this jacket on a sunday and thanks to revzilla's awesome shipping it was outside my door on tuesday. I ordered a large and i'm 5'9 and weigh 200 pounds at about 18% body fat. So i'm not huge but i'm not a little guy either, and this jacket fit snug enough that the armor in the jacket didnt slide around, but it wasnt squeezing the life out of me either. While i was on the freeway obeying all posted speed limits and the like, i didnt feel like if i fell the armor would have adjusted itself so that it wouldnt do its job. The two pockets on the front and inside the liner are sufficient enough for me to carry all my essentials without having to stuff my jeans while im riding. The only problem i have with this jacket is that on my first ride with it, i stopped to get gas and unzipped the jacket and when i zipped it back up the tag you pull on to zip up the jacket popped right off. Getting the jacket zipped up is no problem but getting it unzipped requires you to lift a lock the zipper has so that it doesnt slide down while you are riding. Getting it unzipped isnt all that hard as long as you have something skinny and sturdy enough to fit in the gap, which i all too unceremoniously discovered as i tugged on it sitting on my bike outside the chow hall looking like a fool.

All in all great jacket, but for the price i would have liked to have had a little better quality on the little things, primarily the zipper.

Phenomenal Jacket! Never going back to textile
I was on the fence about purchasing this jacket, as leathers and California heat are not the best combination, but this did not feel much warmer than my textile. After wearing this on a low 90's day I decided to sell my textile and wear this one exclusively, as I know it will hold up much better in a slide. The jacket feels solid, looks great, and I know it will hold up for years. My only complaint is the elbow pads do shift around a little bit, but my build causes me to be in between sizes in most jackets so that is most likely the reason. Overall, I definitely recommend this jacket.

I ordered this jacket mainly for the protection the Sas-Tec armor provides, but also because their are very few nearly all white, armored, leather jackets at this price point. Since white is my color scheme, this will work great

I understand this jacket is partly perforated and has some venting but how comfortable is it in the 80-90 F temperature range?

I'd be willing put up with a little sweat since it looks like a well built jacket for this price point but if someone has experience with this in these higher temps, it would help the decision.

Thanks for your help

BEST ANSWER: I wasn't sure if this would be too hot, but I went ahead and purchased it anyways. In the low to mid 90's I was honestly fine, I decided to sell my textile afterwards.
Will it be comfortable to ride wearing this on a cruiser? I understand this is more for a sports type riding but I like the protection it provides..
Jayakumar S on Jul 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have rode on both street and cruiser bikes and it is very comfortable.
