Scorpion EXO-900X Helmet - Solid
Great, but small fit
Needed a new helmet, and this one met all my needs. Read others saying this was a small fit, and it is. There is an air cushion in the back that helps it fit to your neck better, but I don't use that part. All the controls for the visor/sunguard/modular part are easy to operate. Also pretty easy to take off and snap on the front face part. Overall I think this was a great buy and will probably get the same brand when it comes time to get a new helmet. Rated the comfort at 4/5 due to the tight fit.

A good helmet for the money .
This helmet has some great features like the built in sun visor and a pump to create a tighter fit around your cheeks . I order ed a large according to the size chart . Had to exchange it for an extra large . The REV makes it really easy to exchange items . On long rides its comfortable and fairly quiet . Riding into the sun the drop down sun visor works great .

Awesome looking helmet!
I got the white helmet and got the silve lens with it and it looks awesome! I wear a 7 3/8 size hat and the large fit me pretty good maybe just slightly to snug. My only real complaint about the helmet is there is a hard spot near the jawbone where the chin strap is attached to the helmet that can hurt a little bit, but with a little bit of fiddling with it it works fine

Great Helmet for the Price
This is my first Scorpion helmet and I certainly like the product. I replaced an old AFX-28 modular and liked the look and features of the Scorpion. The other comments on fit are accurate, as I was firmly in the middle range for a L and initially the helmet was very snug, but has broken in fairly quickly and is now comfortable to wear.
There are some areas to nit-pick with this helmet however.
As stated in other reviews, the face shield has fairly weak detents to hold it in the up position. I have found that the shield will stay in the upright position until around 40-45 mph then will partially "auto-close".
I also had one of the pins for the modular portion lose a tab within two weeks of owning the helmet so that the chin bar did not stay on the helmet. Customer support at Scorpion was quick and sent the replacement parts right away. I have not had the same problem since.
Overall great helmet for the price.

Great helmet for the price
This is my first bike and consequently my first helmet. The thing that got me interested was the amount of features for the price. The retractable sun visor works great. The fit seems a little tight but haven't worn it a whole lot yet. Still hoping it will break in. Style is great. Ventilation could be a little better for really hot days but is sufficient. Anti-fog coating doesn't seem to do its job when sitting still on a cooler night but clears up pretty quick with the ventilation once you get going. Vision is good. Don't really have anything to compare the noise level too but it isn't very quiet. I like being able to open the whole front when sitting still to either talk more clearly or just let some fresh air in.

First Modular helmet
I have had a Scorpion open face/shorty helmet for years now and love it. It has good quality materials and holds up well to wear and abuse. I am making the transition into a modular helmet because I recently purchased a sport touring bike. After doing tons of research and reading all of the reviews on several different modular helmets I decided to stick with Scorpion.
My head measured right between the large and XL so after reading the reviews and my current Scorpion fits small I decided on the XL. When I tried it on it was still tight in the forehead and the cheeks. Revzilla returned it quickly and easily and I traded up to the XXL. The XXL fits great and seems to be broken in after about 500mi.
The helmet is great quality and tons of visibility (something I was worried about coming from open face). I added the Sena bluetooth to it and it attached pretty well. Just as the revzilla video says you cant clip the Sena on the side but it glues on fine. The pockets for the speakers is not big enough and I had to cut away a small amount of foam to make them sit flush.
- Good visibility
- Great quality (shell, pads and liner, shield, vent quality and movement are great
- Fits good and adjustable air pump if needed
- Good ventilation
- Chin bar operation is smooth and easy to use with one hand and gloves
- Fits small
- Visor wont stay in the full up position while riding (I may be the only one with this problem but I like to raise my visor up when im hot)
- Sena Bluetooth cant clip and speaker cups are not big enough

Superb quality a purchase you won't regret
Tightfitting, good seal around the neck and chin to prevent cold air from getting in. No whistle from the visor. Very good airflow through both vents and vents are easy to use with gloves. If you have a bike with tank mounted speedometer this helmet will give you a very good view looking down. I'm very pleased with that aspect. The quietest helmet I've owned thus far. I'm so pleased with the quality at this price I've ordered another one for my girlfriend. If you're new to riding and want a good helmet right out of the gate, this is for you.

I was in between sizes and took the advice to go up one size and it fits perfectly very comfortable and quiet. I do wish it came in other colors.
Very happy with my purchase and surprisedevil how fast I received my order I will be ordering some more gear from them very soon.
