Scorpion EXO-900X Helmet - Solid
Great helmet, feels like home.
I've been riding with this helmet for around 2 months now, moving over from a short stint with a Harley-Davidson HJC modular.
This Scorpion is like home. The fit is nice and comfortable and the air cushion along the base of the neck is awesome for dialing the fit and feel.
The shield is crystal and does an excellent job of staying clear, the interior sunshade, super-dope and handy, fogs a bit, but thats to be expected with all the layers folding in front of your face, it goes away the moment you turn the throttle and some air moves.
The modular face release is solid and the chin curtain does a gnarly job at doing its thing as well. It all locks nice and tight. It cradles your head well and it really does feel good.
The venting is great on the jaw, it always takes me a moment to find the forehead vent, but I do like that the jaw is a push in vent and the forehead is a slide, I dont like push style vents on the forehead.
Go a size larger with your head on this one, wear an XL, get a 2X, its just how they run. Its noise quality is good for a $200 lid, good but not great. Have yet to run my speakers in it, but Im assuming things will be ok.
I've gotten tons of compliments on the looks, so it has that going for it as well. Overall, highly recommend this bad boy.

Very good value for many nice features
After 20 yrs riding/wearing Medium helmets, I bought a Large based on internet customer reviews. Still "breaking in" helmet but glad I got the large. The fits is good except tight at the jaw-joint causing some discomfort after 30 mins/riding. I'm hopeful the padding will relax a bit in this area. The EverClear face shield is EXCELLENT, no fogging, but the sun visor does fog a little bit. Comparing to 3 previous modulars, both the chin bar & SpeedView sun visor are particularly "notchy", not smooth & require forceful action to open & close. Hope these also ease up over time/use. I’m pleased w/ the White color but would have like more non-black color options.
At this time, I'm satisfied with the EXO-900X.

Replaced my EXO-900 with EXO-900X
Obviously I like this brand and model since I simply replaced my older EXO-900 with this. The fit and features are the same. Air flow is slightly improved from the previous model. The only complaint I have is that my SENA SMH-10 comm unit speakers fit perfectly in the older model...but the circle cutouts in the newer one are too small to accommodate them. This forces the speakers into an awkward space, I'll probably have to do some cutting on the interior as this helmet is narrow (oval) to begin with. Other than that, no surprises.

It's what I could afford
I am appalled at the cost of modern motorcycling. This helmet is a compromise for me. I wanted a quiet helmet that was a safe modular. After trying several brands, I got a helmet that seems to fill the bill. It fits well, feels well-built and is a little bit quieter than other helmets in the price range. I preferred better quality, quieter helmet, but it was simply ridiculously expensive.
The extra large shell is massive compared to the outer shell for the large. I suspect I get much more wind resistance as a result. The over all quality is perfectly acceptable, but not outstanding. This helmet does not vent especially well and I have not yet worn it on a long trip and worry about that it may get claustrophobic and steamy on a long ride.
Things I like: 1. I like the air fit system and the location of the pump. 2. The moderately oval head shape makes a snug fit possible on my head. 3. I think the modular locks seem very solid, but see below about the activation lever.
Things I don't like about this helmet: 1. It is heavy. 2. The hi-viz color is a greenish yellow. My wife says it's ugly (I just want to be seen by distracted motorists, so if it hurts their eyes and gets their attention... good!). 3. I don't like the modular activation chin lever. It feels cheap and flimsy. 4. The glare shield should be darker. 5. It is not as quiet as I had hoped. I want to be able to hear traffic around me, but not wind buffeting or whistle. For those of you who like thunderous pipes, this won't be an issue and you will easily be able to hear your bike as it disturbs the neighborhood.
I recommend this helmet if you are also not in the league who can drop six or seven hundred bucks for a more premium helmet. I just wish someone made a really good, quiet helmet at a reasonable price point.

Very Nice Helmet
After measuring my head, I was a medium by their numbers. Based on the reviews, I went with a Large and it fit snugly. A medium would have been WAY too tight. It's a bit heavy and when looking right and left you get a bit of wind resistance, but once you are used to it, it is fine. I love the 3-1 feature as it allows for full face or visor, depending on the passengers preference, so you only need one helmet for everyone.
Gets a bit hot with full-face, but have to put it down at freeway speeds. I'll put it up through the city or traffic for air.
Get a large if you measure medium. It might break in over time, but large feels nice right out of the box. Fits my 13-year old, 25-year old and 48-year old.

Looks Good & Feels Good
I recently bought this helmet from Revzilla and I am very satisfied. It is a tight squeeze for me when I put the helmet on but once it's on it is great. The helmet is very comfortable and there are no pressure points that I have noticed. My head is more of a long oval and this helmet is very accommodating. It looks fantastic and the visibility is great. The air flow is not the best but I will say that my head wasn't full of sweat after a long ride on a mid 90's day. The airflow around the helmet was great and it is very stable at higher speeds. The fit was spot on per the size chart. I ordered a medium and thought it might be a little small but it fits perfect. Great helmet at a bargain price!

Great helmet! Caution if returning!
First off revzilla is awesome! we liked this 900x helmet so much we bought two. one for my wife and one for me! we both tried on the 900x the fit was great and features even better. our best option for the Florida heat.
ok the only issue my wife had. caution.. do not try to remove the front area of the helmet to place the sun visor on. it comes off easily but to get back on it is very hard. so hard in fact you will scratch the area around the ears.... when this happens you bought it!...
Now for about my helmet when i received it in the mail. the drop down visor was loose and detached. no problem it went back in place right away. then only after 10 minutes I could feel pain on my forehead. when i tried the fit in a store in town. I had no pain. but wearing in the house for some time. I could feel the soar spot. Thanks to revzilla 30 day trial period. I did not have to be stuck a $200 HEADACHE !
