The Scorpion EXO-500  immediately catches the eye with its innovative design, enhanced by a superb sharp ridge on the underside of the shell. Inspired by its older brother, the Scorpion EXO-1000 , the EXO 500 Helmet is based on the GT philosophy and is fitted as standard with the last generation visor of its elder.  And as if that were not enough, it integrates the SpeedView® built-in retractable sunvisor treated with anti-fog coating on both sides. Great helmet for the price range! This helmet is great for the price range. The pictures online do not do the graphics any justice. It looks even better in person. I love the drop down visor. It seemed to run a little small, but my noggin was right at the top of the size range for a medium (I have a 7 1/4 hat size). It's staring to break in good, and it's pretty comfortable now after riding with it a few times. To help speed up the break in, I pulled the cheek pads out and laid 45 lb weight plates on each one over night. April 15, 2013
Great helmet loaded with features! Helmet was loaded with more features then I thought I would be able to get with a sub $250 price tag. It looks great too. Inner visor reflects plenty of glare for me to be able to ride comfortably in full sunlight without the need to carry an extra visor around with me everywhere. It's pretty quite at highway speeds with very little buffeting when you turn your head. Also, helmet comes with a aero skirt so you don't need to order one! As always scorpion helmets run a size smaller so order a size larger then you would normally wear. February 16, 2013

I love it This is my first helmet but have been riding passenger for a few years. I've always used someone's spare helmet and this one does fit a little small for being a medium. It pushed in my cheeks but these are replaceable with different ones. I'm not a fan of the visor you can pull down so I took it out. The only thing about when you take it out is the lever only controls one side while the other just hangs down. I stuck a piece of tissue between it and the pads and it holds it up just fine. Low roar for noise, not as loud as some windy helmets I've used. All in all, awesome helmet! July 23, 2012
Very happy with helmet The helmet stays cool in the hot and humid weather which is a plus during the summer in the northeast. The flip down sun visor is awesome, though i will probably buy a darker one. The graphics are sweet too. The check pads were a little tight at first but they wore in after a few hours of riding. Great Quality Helmet Lots of features for the price, graphics is awesome! A little tight on the cheek but easily broken-in in one ride. I will buy another scorpion helmet, I'm very happy on my purchase. As usual Revzilla shipped it in 2 days with enthusiasm! Great company to deal with(took care my issues in the past)! Great product I tried on several helmets to compare sizes. i discovered I was a large. i ordered one and it fit. people always complement it. the flip down sunglasses are great especially if you ever tried to squeeze sunglasses in your helmet, you will understand how uncomfortable that is. the blowup cheeks are great too, they keep the helmet right where its supposed to be. the skull designs fit great with the other Scorpion products. i highly recommend. Great helmet at a great price I got this helmet when I got my new bike. For me it was the perfect balance of quality, price and looks. I wanted something with the internal sun visor because I don't like to carry of accessories with me when I ride. I got a size medium and it fits snug but comfortable. I can go between a small and medium helmet size depending on make of the helmet. I suggest you try this helmet on or buy the size bigger if you are between helmet sizes. This is the perfect helmet for somebody who wants a good looking high quality helmet, but like me can't justify paying $500 or more on a helmet. April 11, 2012

I currently have the EXO-750, and my shades fit just fine in the helmet. I just have to be okay with the position I put them in, because once I put them in, it's hard to adjust them.

I've got a bluetooth speaker setup in my helmet, too, and it works just fine.

It's the same tint as that of a dark smoke visor. At first it didn't look like it came down far enough, but after riding with it works great. No problems or concerns what so ever.

To ride with my Scorpion, I need earplugs with music, or regular earplugs, so that I don't hurt my ears. They are fine for a ride around town, or on some twisties. But at steady highway speeds, the sound can get to be a bit much.
