great helmet with good features for the price The helmet is a little snug at first but fits good after it's broken in. The noise level is a little loud. It has great air flow. The built in sun visor is a great feature so you don't have to change out visors. The cheek air pump is also a great feature that help the helmet keep that snug fit when pads start to wear out. over all for the price it's a really good helmet. February 19, 2013
Quality, Comfort and Style Undoubtedly the best helmet and had, has a unique style and a unique quality, scorpion no detail left to chance with this product, highlight how good it fits my head and the air pump is quite useful and fulfills its function well, the only thing I would change is the noise level is a bit high and closing is not the most practical thing, everything else is perfect, thanks Revzilla for attention. Love this helmet The helmet is a great fit for comfort and style. It is a little noisy at high speeds. It fits great after it has been broken in for a little while. The vents are great at flowing air, but at higher speeds you have to sacrifice a little noise for good airflow. My favorite feature is the built in sun visor. It was a little tight at first but it broke in fine. August 11, 2012
Nice helmet, pretty loud First helmet for a first time rider. Have about 3500 miles in this helmet at this time. The helmet flows a respectable amount of air through the vents. Suitable enough for the heat of central Florida's summers. It is a very loud helmet, and i find the majority of the noise seems to be generated around the face shield releases on the side. I would advise wearing some sort of hearing protections with this helmet when cruising at speeds about 45mph. August 3, 2012
Great fit and comfort but a bit noisey The helment is a great fit for comfort and style. The weight is little better than average for its price range. I was a little disappointed in the noise level and will be looking to upgrade to a less noisey model expectially because of using a cardo unit with it. Overall it is a great middle of the road helment and if you are not using a headset with it, it would be perfect. September 22, 2011
Great Value I have owned this helmet now for about 3 months, and I'm very pleased with it. It is a bit noisy, and the air flow seems to be a little bit lacking, but overall its an awesome helmet for the price. Compared to the EXO-1000, its a bit rounder of a fit, but all the features are there for a better price. August 21, 2011
Best fit for my head and very good design I try many helmets but each was non comfort - I have round head but with prominent forehead and flat occiput. EXO500 was choised as most disigned for my byke and as the best correlation features for the money. It was shipped to my hand (to the Russia) during 6 days! It was first miracle. Second miracle was that helmet was the best fit for my head. Now I ride more that 1000km in it - very comfortable. For speed till 80 km/h I use only sunvisor, more than 80 - eyes need main visor close. Ventilation is normal, only on the rain a had a problem with fog and used lock-button for little open visor. I am happy that helmet. Little bugs IMHO: main visor too hard for opening (may be unlit the new); black-yellow stock bag for helmet too bright for such style and serious design (so not usable) July 11, 2011

The Bell Mag 9 Rally I purchased had a gray 3/4 shield. In my opinion the tinted shield is not a polarized material. The shield deployed nicely and did darken the scenery, however, the tinted shield did not seem to remove the intense glare of the sun as well as my sunglasses.
