Scorpion EXO-500 Bio-metal Helmet
The helmet looks good and delivers what what it says. It does fit a little large and looks rather round. It flows a good amount of air and I am comfortable riding in the summer in it.

great helmet for the price
love this helmet. the cheek pads are tight and certainly there is no need to "inflate" them, which I think is a bit gimmicky anyways. otherwise, this is loaded with features. love the internal sun visor and the mechanism is easy to use, feels solid. no fogging whatsoever. fit is overall great, especially now that it has broken in a bit. reasonably quiet. good airflow.

BB, great for 1st time riders
I was very pleased with this helmet. I spent a lot of time researching and this was a great buy for the money spent. It has good airflow and is made to last. The only negative is that it is a bit load compared to the other mid-high helmets. If you are a novice rider concerned with comfort and durability as well as good looks, juts click that buy button. YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT! - keep the rubber side down

Good helmet, but a little noisy.
Pros: Looks cool, high visibility, built in sunglasses, quality windscreen
Cons: definitely on the louder side (so much that I rarely wear it because my HJC helmet is far quieter)
In all other areas it is about average. It fits small.

Nice helmet for the money
Bought this for my girlfriend (love my Shoei RF1100 too much to wear one of these myself). She loved the look of the helmet. The liner is super nice. Also it has a TON of features for a helmet in this price range but...the pump feature in the cheek pads isn't working. Honestly, I would've returned it but it fits her so well without inflating them, that we just decided to keep it. I do like the quick-change face shield on Scorpions, too. Overall it's a good value for the money. I really just took a star off for the busted cheek pads.

Coming from a Shoei X11...
I have had several helmets in the past, including a Shoei X11, Gmax G68( great sub $80 helmet), Shoei RF1000. This one is by far my favorite.
It's the first helmet that fits me well. Although with other manufactures, I am a medium but I am a large with the EXO-500. The air pumps DO help a great deal to get the size dialed in, if the helmet fits you a bit loose(I don't need them, unless i'm doing a track day or something)
The airflow is perfect, you can really feel it on your face, but it's not overpowering. The helmet crack feature is perfect for me. The shield is TRUE anti-fog. It does not fog...I can't believe out well it worked on a cold day. I did get the mirrored shield and I have to say that this is the first one I have used that has not scratched in the first week of riding. I also like being able to go out with my clear visor and using the drop down sunglasses. Then later, when it's night time, I don't have to switch shields. Which is more convenient than I realized.
I could go on and on, just know that every feature this helmet claims is actually useful. For some reason, I always thought the quality of scorpion would be sub par, but after owning this helmet for a couple months I can testify that the opposite is true. This is a high quality, top notch helmet that I would recommend to any rider.
The ONLY downside is that is it not SNELL approved, so that may be a problem for some people at tracks and whatnot. As far as the actual safety of the helmet. It does meet ECE standards, which is considered to be as good if not better than SNELL.

Scorpion never fails me!
Ive purchased very expensive to as cheap as possible and price is NOT gonna tell you if that helmet is the one for you so never look at price, it could be the cheapest helmet you could find and be the absolute best quality and fit for you. I got my usual medium size and thought it would be half a size too big, like they usually are, but to my happy surprise, it fits me PERFECTLY and doesnt make me feel like i have a bobble head. It is light weight and curves my face without making me feel like im puckering up. The air vents are generous and work well and can be moved around with gloves on. The visor locks so be careful because the locking ,mechanism is close to the sun visor that comes down inside the helmet. I guess that is why i put an "average" score on the feature section. My only disappointment is that the visor isnt as dark as they used to make them, basically its ineffective from really deflecting the sun like my first Scorpion helmet was. If your buying THIS helmet for the sun visor, don't. But as for sound and wind reduction, i LOVE it..much better than other brands. The graphics are subtle and very cool and mostly on the side, i wear dragon spikes on the top of my helmet that i add myself and i hate having to apply it over any graphics so i was happy to see that i didnt cover up too much cause the graphics are mainly on the sides. I totally recommend this helmet.
