The helment is a great fit for comfort and style. The weight is little better than average for its price range. I was a little disappointed in the noise level and will be looking to upgrade to a less noisey model expectially because of using a cardo unit with it. Overall it is a great middle of the road helment and if you are not using a headset with it, it would be perfect.

I have owned this helmet now for about 3 months, and I'm very pleased with it. It is a bit noisy, and the air flow seems to be a little bit lacking, but overall its an awesome helmet for the price. Compared to the EXO-1000, its a bit rounder of a fit, but all the features are there for a better price.

I try many helmets but each was non comfort - I have round head but with prominent forehead and flat occiput. EXO500 was choised as most disigned for my byke and as the best correlation features for the money. It was shipped to my hand (to the Russia) during 6 days! It was first miracle. Second miracle was that helmet was the best fit for my head. Now I ride more that 1000km in it - very comfortable. For speed till 80 km/h I use only sunvisor, more than 80 - eyes need main visor close. Ventilation is normal, only on the rain a had a problem with fog and used lock-button for little open visor. I am happy that helmet.
Little bugs IMHO: main visor too hard for opening (may be unlit the new); black-yellow stock bag for helmet too bright for such style and serious design (so not usable)

Revzilla got this helmet to me in just two day's -sweet / just in time for 500 miles of extreme sport riding in the NC mountains. I bought this helmet primarily for the built in internal sun visor - all helmets should have one - the one on this helmet is awesome I love that feature. The biometal graphics is wicked and matches my silver MC perfectly. This helmet has less drag at high speeds than my last full faced helmet - nice slick shape. The helmet has a tight but comfortable fit I typically ride short distances but on this trip we could not get enough of the mountain roads so after a full day of riding I could feel a pressure point form in the center of my forehead - cause - my head is not round. The only thing that really disappointed me was the internal noise level - this helmet has a loud vibrating wind noise built in - not at all what I had expected - the bottom is almost totally enclosed - pump up cheeks and all / I figured it would be very quite. The best I can figure is the noise comes from the internal ventilation system and possibly air disruption across the visor knobs. My solution is to wear ear plugs / love the sun visor & cool looks!

I own about 8 different helmets. Up until now the EXO 1000 was my favorite even though I had a few gripes with it. Enjoyed the flip down sunvisor, great fit, fog free shield and comfortable liner. My gripes were, it was pricey, a bit heavy and didn't vent very well. The EXO-500 is the same helmet, but fixed all the issues I had with the 1000. Of note, this helmet is shaped a bit more rounded than the 1000, but still fits me well.
