Great helmet! Highly recomended!
I have two of these one for me and one for the wife. Love the view out of it. The only downside to the helmet is the airflow thought the vents, it is there but nothing to write home about. Also with the visor down I find it necessary to wear earplugs if the ride is longer than 15 min.

Nice light helmet
Not sure about the 10 second face shield change, this is my second EXO it seems the rotating locks don't function properly. If the lock isn't seated properly it will rattle in your ear while riding

Second One
My first EXO 200 is over six years old, so I wanted to upgrade because I want the helmet to "work" not fail because of age. I really wanted the new "retro jet fighter" style. But I also wanted an external "visor/bill" to block out the sun. I tried on various styles, but always came back to the Scorpion. I wish they would have built in the internal flip down visor like in the 500 and 900. I own a 900, but the fit and weight are a bit negative for me.

Good helmet fair price
Havent worn a 3/4 helmet in a long time , prefer full face. But the summers in Georgia are hot. This helmet is good quality, fit is true. Overall very satisfied with the product.

Good Quality Helmet
I did my research on this helmet by looking at a lot of reviews online. Scorpion has their 200 helmet that is Snell and DOT certified and it is basically the same thing minus the face shield it seems. When I ordered I bought the extra face shield and am pleased with the length since I have an oval face. The helmet has a thick lining and I normally wear a large. Probably could have done an XL because it is a little snug around my cheeks but I hope that it will get better over time. The flat black looks good and the air vents aren't so large that they dominate the helmet features. Overall the helmet looks good and is very sleek as compared to a more bulky HJC open face. I have a nice wide view of the road and my surroundings without sacrificing protection. i ride a Honda Shadow 1100 and I prefer the open face helmets during warm weather. I would definitely recommend a friend to check it out.

The EXO250 fits me fine.
I have an oval head and the EXO250 fits me just right. Con: the peak(visor) is too short to do any good, it doesn't block any sun and I was not told about this problem. Might as well not have the peak.

I don't see anything about safety certification. Is it at least DOT certified?
A shopper on Jul 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It has the "DOT" sticker on the back of the helmet. Sorry, but that's all I can really tell you. Since we don't have a helmet law in Montana, I've only worn the helmet once (when I rode out to the coast)... of course it felt unnatural, but it didn't take long for me to adapt to the weight, etc. I am completely satisfied with the helmet, visor, and face shield; I don't think I could have chosen better.
Hope this was of help to you.

Does the 250 have the pop-down sunvisor that the 110 has?
A shopper on Sep 20, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No it does not have a pop-down visor. I purchased visors that mount easily and rotates up or down (tinted for summer and clear for night and winter riding). I really like this helmet and would recommend it, good value. I suggest buying the next size up though, I normally go for a M but a L in the EXO-250 fits me perfectly.
Does the EXO 250 fit the same as the 100..would a small be a small?
A shopper on Jul 19, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Both the EXO 100 and the EXO 250 use the same size break down and have a very similar fit (round in shape). In this case a size small is designed for someone with a head size of 55-56 centimeters.
Is this helmet rated M2005 or M2010?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No....DOT only....I don't believe any 3/4 helmets meet the latest Snell or Euro helmet standards...a modular (flip up) may...but it would be produced by a European Mfg. ($$$$$$)...hth
does the exo tend to fit more round heads? i am a long oval so will this be a good fit for me.
A shopper on Feb 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am fairly oval and it fit me nicely. The open face helps!
At the present time I have a scorpion 200, I want to get another scorpion helmet. I was wondering should I get new 250 or should I get another 200.
A shopper on Feb 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The external parts between the Scorpion Exo 200 and Exo 250 are interchangeable. However, the inside liner remains exclusive to each model and will not be interchangeable.
Can the shield & the peak visor be mounted / used at the same time?
