Scorpion Eddy Jacket
Very good protection
Amazing jacket, I went down around 55 mph, nothing happened to me, the jacket resisted very good, just a couple of holes, but I'm sure it could resist at higher speed.

Beat the heat! Best bang for the buck.
Glad I found this jacket, just started riding again after very long time not being on a bike, and was hit with information overload trying to decide gear. Revzilla has turned into my go to site, great information and reviews to learn and educate the buyer. I live in florida so need basically 2 season for summer lol.. I've ridden in 50 degrees morning "wasn't expecting" without liner, and oh yeah it got cool, but actually wasn't all the bad thankfully for a short trip and keeping it under 55.
This jacket def allows tons of air thru with the liner out, the armor is great almost feels like it isn't even their which i think is a statement when you know you have quality armor. allows easy flow of movements without that bulk feel.
Only ridden in a light rain once really, mostly road spray mixed in. Without the liner my shirt was dry underneath. this was also under 50 mph.. But the mesh is tight enough to protect against minimal water conditions without liner.
***Now the only neg. No collar on jacket, so if you have a collar shirt underneath, its going to get soaked in the rain. No way around it.
Protection.. knock on wood, i feel safe in the jacket and expect it to help, def want to upgrade the back as stock is just foam board. I don't think i would want to go for a slide at 90 mph or use it on a track by any means, but its def a quality built jacket. Hope to never test it, but feel it will protect me if needed.
Sizing. Dead on, follow the size chart. I'm 5'10" 205 lbs with a 38 waist / chest 46. built like a viking lol, the XL is the perfect fit for broad shoulders, waist is still lose on me even tighten to the max.
*No collar, so undershirts in the rain will collect more water, collar undershirts will get wind beat, and soaked. Also when cooler more air on the neck.
*Arm cuffs, wish they had a latch / strap to tighten down further, doesn't even have a thumb strap, slight concern it would be easy for the arms to ride up in the right kind of slide. No problems riding at speed, etc. they stay planted.
*Main zipper, wish it had a slightly larger handle, feels a little flimsy. And wish it had 2 internal pockets. But the one internal pocket is good size, and deep.
All in all loved the jacket enough I bought the silver/black and the black/neon high visibility. Cannot beat this price.

Would I recommend it? Yes. Excellent jacket!
What to expect? Sizing chart is perfect. Feels great. It has the CE protection in the elbows and shoulders. I challenge you to price just the padding of those pieces. That alone pays for the jacket. Very impressed with this jacket.
Fit and Finish. Not a single issue here. Perfect condition.

Bang for the Buck
The Scorpion Eddy Jacket fit well. I'm a big guy and I felt comfortable in this jacket. Its well ventilated and comes with armor. I got the orange and white on sale for my early morning commute to work. The orange and white stand out pretty well in low light. Only thing I would say that is a con is that it doesn't have any reflective material at all. The jacket also slid easily into my full gauntlet gloves like they were meant for each other.

Great value for the money.
Very comfortable jacket and very eye-catching. Since my philosophy on riding a motorcycle and surviving in the D.C. area is to be as obnoxiously visible as possible, I bought the white/orange version of the jacket and wear it with orange Klim Dakar pants. I bought this jacket to wear when the weather gets warm. It allows large volumes of airflow and the light coloring helps to keep me cool while still providing great protection. The waterproof liner that is provided has limited use during a rainstorm (if it’s raining I pull over and put on a rain suit), but it works great as a windbreaker on early morning rides when the air is a little cool. I commute year-round into our Nation’s Capital (76 miles per day) so my gear gets a lot of use. So far the jacket is wearing very well.

Exactly what I was looking for
The jacket fit me perfectly. The style and design is simple, which is what I prefer. Scorpion quality, do I need to say more!

To start, it's more silver than the picture would have you think. It's a very comfortable jacket. I don't even notice the back protector. I am 6', 155lb and I ordered a Medium. It is a little big at the bottom but it allows me to wear a down jacket underneath in the really cold weather. The quality is excellent and the length is surprisingly good. I haven't tried it without the liner but it looks as though it will have good air flow. My only real complaint is I wish it had more reflective material for higher vis at night.

Great In The Heat
This jacket flows more air than any of the other lightweight mesh summer jackets I own. It also does so without throwing safety to the wind.
I am 6'1" and 230lbs with broad shoulders. The 2XL fits me very well. The shoulder and elbow pads stay where they are needed. The place holder foam back pad is easy to replace. I got the orange and white version. It acts as hi-viz quite nicely.
On a humid, 95 degree summer day this jacket moved air through it in bunches. The tee shirt I had on under it was dry when I got off the bike after 75 miles in the sun.
I recommend this light but safe and functional summer weight jacket completely.
