A functional and necessary item, but... This is the third replacement in about 5 years. All previous liners split a seam somewhere after a year, or so. This recent iteration seems to be constructed with a different material. I'm hoping it holds up a bit better. I love my C3 helmet. The liner has been the only letdown. As there is no other option, the product is what it is. On the upside, their claim that it fixes the forehead pressure issue is true -- at least for my head. I never had a really tough problem with the pressure issue, but I did notice a comfort level improvement. May 25, 2015
Slightly small This liner is slightly smaller that the original C3 liner. If you are in between sizes I would definitely recommend going with the larger size. The new design does significantly reduce the pressure point at the crown of the forehead. September 1, 2014
Instant relief This liner should come with the helmet by default. It is unfortunate that Schuberth does not automatically include this liner in their C3 helmet, instead of selling the helmet with a defective liner and having the customer purchase the newer model in order to achieve the best fit after the fact. Once installed this helmet becomes the best helmet out there, in my opinion. July 28, 2014
Get rid of the Schuberth headaches I was getting splitting headaches if I wore my C3 more than 30 mins. I tried compressing the padding a little around the trmple area but no difference. This was a last resort before selling the helmet. It worked. No more headaches. Excellent! June 30, 2014
This product fixed my problem The original liner in my shoe birth became absolutely unwearable. I've no worn this liner for five days and after a break-in. It's feeling pretty doggone good. June 10, 2014
replacement Needed a replacement and this was exactly what I needed. April 14, 2014
No more forehead pressure points with the new Schuberth liner. Greetings: I purchased the upgraded S2 / C3 liner for my 2011 Schuberth C3 helmet. With the stock liner, I was getting a painful forehead pressure point which left a red indented mark in the middle of my forehead. With the upgraded liner from Revzilla, I no longer get the pressure point, and I can ride for hours with no marks left on my forehead. It's comfortable, and fits me great. Thank you Revzilla and Schuberth. March 16, 2014
Fixes a problem for the squeezed forehead The original c2 came with a liner that because of the way it fit, put a lot of pressure on the center of my forehead, to the point where there was a definite mark on my forehead after wearing the helmet for awhile and after some amount of time, it hurt so much I couldnt wear it. The replacement liner works, I can wear the helmet without discomfort and there is no mark on my forehead when I remove the helmet. So it does what it is designed to do. October 7, 2013

Bastiaan K asked: My C3 size L is a little big too big (wiggle room), the M too small. can i use my L helmet with a M liner to get a proper fit? and should i buy the smaller C3 liner or C3 Pro liner or the S2/C3 one.. Apr 14, 2015

Colin M: Bastiaan,
I'm not 100% sure on the liner thing for sizing the helmet to fit snugger in your case other than I do know I bought the new liner for my C3 because of the nagging forehead pressure point which totally solved that issue which many other C3 helmet users had. Not too sure if it made the helmet smaller inside.

I did also try a very thin under helmet toque-type head cap to fit under my C3 in other early attempts to resolve the forehead issue which may be enough to make the fit smaller. I just do not remember the name of this apparel. I did buy it through Revzilla though so look on their site for something similar.

I do believe the C3 shell is the same size for the small through large helmets or maybe just the medium and large which would mean the foam padding and mid-shell components would be adjusted for the fit. I'd try to live with the medium for a bit first because the padding will pack in a bit as did my large helmet for me. The C3 does fit a bit tighter than some helmets out there.

Hope this helps somewhat and good luck!

Bastiaan K: Hi Colin, thnx for replying! My dealer says its better to use the original C3 liner instead of an S2 of C3 pro liner. nobody can tell me if when i buy a S2 liner in a M size it wil fit and snug up my helmet? Any thoughts? Apr 15, 2015
Colin M: When I bought the new liner for my C3 the helmet did NOT get any smaller. It just fit better in the area around the hotspot which was nagging my forehead pressure.
I think you will be fine. Apr 17, 2015
Bastiaan K: Hi Colin, thanks for the info! I bought the c3 pro liner size M elsewhere because shipping to the netherlands is onlu from 200 dollar :-( but... Received my package today, swapped the liner and fits like a glove! Confortable, little tight but that will break in. Now im thinking i should replace the cheek pads as well :-) will the c3 pro cheek pads also fit? The finishing and quality of the c3 pro liner is much better than the stock one! ( and looks nicer too)

Thx! Apr 28, 2015
Hans M: I can't answer your question. I replaced the liner in my L C3 helmet with the L S2/C3 liner. That liner seems to give me a bit more room, but probably not enough if the stock M C3 feels too tight. Mine only started being uncomfortable after wearing it for a couple of hours. Apr 14, 2015

Luis T: Hello Bastiaan. Did you try M on your L helmet? How does it feel? Apr 28, 2015

Bastiaan K: Hi Luis, see my answer to Colin, fits perfect! Nice and tight, no room to wiggle my head anymore. A bit tight at the forehead but that will break in. Good to know that my headsize is exactly 58 cm.

I purchased the c3 pro liner ( from what i've read the same as S2 liner). Instead of the stock black liner colour on the c3 its dark blue, looks and feels nicer too.

Good luck! Apr 28, 2015
A shopper asked: Does Schuberth S2 Helmet Liner fit on a C3 Helmet? Sep 20, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
yellowbirdrs: According to Schuberth Costumer Service yes! the S2 liners fit iin the C3 shell. Also they give you some extra mm @ the forehead area.

"I’m assuming you went to dealer to try to C3 Liners instead? If so, the only other option we have is the S2 Liner. The C3 Liner should have been a little better than the C3w Pads."

I need to fix the fit of my wife's helmet. Famous forehead mark/pain.

Sylvain S: To Revzilla: Maybe because I still get the famous "Schuberth Mark" like if someone put his "dic$%/" on my forehead for hours! I know about the C3 liner, just want to make sure that S2 will also fit since I have been told that the design was different, therefore, maybe I wont have this lovely mark anymore!

Just try one n the shop and come back will real feedback.

A shopper asked: I have a BMW 4 Elite Carbon Helmet. The liner is falling apart. I think Schubert makes BMW helmets? Will this liner fit my helmet? Jun 24, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Stefan J: I have purchased this liner for my C3, which it fits but it does make the helmet fit a little more snug than before. I doubt that it will fit a BMW helmet. It is true that Schuberth manufactures their helmets, but they are a complete proprietory design by BMW and built to their specifications. They do not just put a different badge on it. Jun 24, 2015

Eric S: I don't know if BMW helmets are made by Schuberth. But if they are the same as the C3/S2 it should work. From the pictures of the BMW helmet online they do not appear to be the same. Jun 24, 2015

Bill F: To be safe, I would contact Schuberth about this question. The helmet liner fits my C3 perfectly, but I would be afraid to say how it might fit something else. Jun 24, 2015

Michael M asked: I have an XL large S2 and would like to put the large liner in it. I know the large liner is for the smaller sized shell, but has anyone done this/will it work? XL fit perfect for a short period of time, but now it's not as snug as before, just want t tighten it up very slightly Jul 24, 2015
