31MM was perfect for my Large Helmet Stock check pads in my Large RF1200 were too big and I could not open/close my mouth without biting the inside of my cheeks. Went down to the 31MM and the fit is perfect! November 3, 2014
easy installation! I bought the extra large Shoei FR1200 and felt that the cheek pads were a little too thick for my liking so I replaced them with these which seemed to fine tune the helmet fit just where i wanted it. July 28, 2014
Shoei excellence I ordered these cheek pads as the ones in my RF-1200 were too large for my face. These replacement cheek pads work well and give me a much more comfortable fit. June 3, 2014
Great way to adjust fit I replaced the standard 35mm pads with 31mm pads on my Shoei RF1200 to loosen up the fit a little. These replacement pads were an exact fit, easy to install, and looked just like the ones that came with the helmet. May 26, 2014
Excellent fit adjustment. Easy to install. The thinner 31mm cheek pads were easy to change and provided the necessary adjustment to allow my new RF 1200 to really fit properly. May 12, 2014
OEM Shoei Cheek pads great quality What can I say they are OEM Shoei cheek pads. Great quality! I'm writing this review for those that have a extremely narrow and thin face. I have a size medium RF-1200 with stock cheek pads and they just didnt hug by face. That being said if your in the same boat, go straight for the option 43mm! Now my helmet is snug and secure on my noggin. February 10, 2014

Dan M asked: Just got my helmet. The medium is a perfect fit for my head. I tried this on at a local store and liked the size. However, after wearing it for a while, the cheek pads are a little tight for comfort. Also, its starting to hurt to get it on and off. My ears are getting scraped too much. Would you suggest a smaller cheek pad or will they loosen with time? Mar 31, 2014

Bob L: Hey Dan, I also just bought a new rf1200 (L) and it was a bit too tight in the cheeks. I ordered the 31mm cheek pad set from Revzilla. They did the trick. Still snug but not uncomfortable and they will loosen up a bit.
I'd suggest the thinner pads - I think that will solve the problem. Worked for me.

Matt J: Dan,

I hope I can help. Here is how I size my helmets, maybe it will help you. I wear a 7 and a 1/2 fitted hat. So naturally on the size chart I fit a large, I ordered the large and because I have a skinny face I always order XS small cheek pads and the fit is bang on. You should order a larger cheek pad and give that a try, but your liner will break in over time and by time I mean a good season of summer riding will help break it in.

Jeremy L: Absolutely! I had the same problems you're experiencing. I installed cheek pads that were 4mm smaller than stock, problems gone. Also the helmet will break in quite a bit after you wear it (the cheek pads never break in). Apr 1, 2014

Stephane D: Dan I haven't riden with the Helmet yet, but as with past helmets they don't loosen up that much, change them you will feel the difference, especially if you are presently hurting :-). Apr 3, 2014
