Roland Sands Mission Gloves
Love these Gloves
Another Gem from RSD!
I purchased these gloves because I wanted a pair of leather gloves that didnt resemble something the Power Rangers wear. I wanted the safety features (padded sections, reinforced studs) I would need for daily riding, but I wanted them to be stylish to boot. Objective Achieved!
These gloves fit me perfectly in a large (I was right at the top end of the sizing for large - 9.5" or something...).
The aesthetic is great. I went with the Sand color, which is more of a dirty white, with brown accents. cant complain.
They're incredibly comfortable and have some substantial padding in the knuckles and palm, along with studs on the base of the palm and the side of the pinky for sliding on pavement...

Great Style, fits well, and tastes great!!!!
Fits well except the thumb seems to be a bit long (size large). After a week they began to work in and get more comfortable. Leather is also pretty soft for the thickness and gives good tactile feel....have had good luck using a smartphone with them on also...not perfect but doable.
Padding is good for what they are, i.e. a cruising glove.
As others pointed out there is a bit of an odor emanating from the gloves...kind of like the smell of gas/diesel. Not sure how long this will last but it is slowly reducing with use.
Style is great so no complaints there.
Lastly of course, they taste great but I always add some ketchup or Tabasco to bring out the flavor!!!

Just shy of perfection. New FAVORITE glove
Up front, I'm an RSD fan so this may be slightly biased but you can always count on this Cal-based brand to come through for you.
I went with the tobacco brown to change it up from the usual black glove - what can I say, I love this glove. The fit is absolutely spot on with some good airflow. I'd say prob a good pick for spring and summer seasons, but it would depend on your own personal warm temp tolerance. I dig the style for sure, but the feel is right on. Supple enough where you need it and has a great feel throughout with no unnecessary stiffness or excessive material.
I only have two gripes: 1) I personally prefer the Velcro strap to be underneath the wrist and not on the top. 2) I feel like the finger knuckles could use a little bit of protection (beefier leather or accordioned leather like you see on other RSD gloves). They seem a little exposed to me and would prob take a nasty impact if the unfortunate happens. I'm sure it's a tough balance to have a good amount of protection without compromising the intended style and look, but just pointing this out in case there is room for improvement. Comfort and style are all totally up to each individual rider when choosing gear, either way. Just my two cents, otherwise, this is an AMAZING glove and my current go-to. Strongly recommend.

More Fashionable than Protective
They fit based on US sizing. The leather is pretty thin but has an extra layer of protection over the little finger. The knuckle protection is pretty thin also. If you are looking for lots of protection look elsewhere.

Style plus fit
I bought the brown/black pair and really like the look. RSD has style. The fit is very good using soft leather and the velcro strap is easy to use. They provide good feel to the controls and are not bulky. I rated the air flow low because while there are holes in the leather they do not go through the liner material so venting is minimal.

Decent stylish gloves
Love the styling of the glove. I usually wear medium gloves and a medium in this glove fits perfectly.
I bought this glove in Tobacco / white color and it is pretty easy to get dirty / stain.

Great Design. Problems in the beginning though...
I love riding in these gloves. However, when I first got them, they were really uncomfortable. The stitching on the inside of the glove was rubbing on my knuckles and really irritating me. So I removed a lot of the stitching and fixed it myself. I have to say, RSD uses great materials but they aren't put together that well. A lot of the stitching is unravelling and wearing out.
The gloves could also use a little more beefing up on the heels of the palms. The rivets might help in place of sliders but if you go down wearing these, your hands will probably get tore up.
Great feel on the controls though. And they look really cool.

Its a well made glove
The glove by RSD is an excellent made product. It fits nice, wears well and is of better quality than the stock Harley gloves.
