Powerlet Basic Luggage Electrix Tankbag & Saddlebag Power Kit

Mounts conveniently into any tankbag or saddlebag (soft or hard sided luggage). Easy to install, this waterproof connector permits power to be passed through the luggage wall. Includes Luggage. Electrix connector, PAC-026 Cigarette, SAE connector and 48" battery harness. Patented.

Power Anything!

Ideal for powering cell phones, GPS units, radar detectors, satellite radios, air compressors and other electrical gadgets. The connector can be installed into tankbags, top cases (tourpacks) or saddlebags. Power can come from an SAE battery lead, a Powerlet outlet or from a battery charger SAE lead. Patented.

Manage Excess Cords

Built with touring riders and commuters in mind, Powerlet simplifies what to do with excess cords around the handlebars. For example, the excess GPS power cord can stay inside your tankbag while the GPS is mounted to your handlebars. Inside the luggage there is a Powerlet cable to fit your needs. If not just call us toll free and we will custom build your cable; we are the factory.

Quickly Hide Your Electronic Device

The Luggage Electrix system is designed to help quickly hide expensive electronics when we step away from our bikes. Since the GPS or Radar Detector is plugged in inside the luggage there is no need to unplug it every time you stop for gas, food or to stretch. Remove the electronics from its mount and place it inside the luggage, there is no need to unplug the gadget every time you stop.

Easy to install. Installed in about 20 mins. Works great. Use for battery tender also. April 29, 2013
Ease of use and functionality Obviously bought this to charge my phone on the go. Hardest part was finding a soldering iron here in Italy amongst my friends. Install from the battery to the tank bag mount took less then 10 minutes and now I never have to worry about a dead phone. It has made it through an extremely wet Italian spring and I have no regrets Thanks for the online videos and great service. April 27, 2013
Fantastic solution for powering hard luggage. Very clean install, fit & finish, solid connectors. Installation was fairly quick - it took longer for me to decide how I wanted to route the wires than it did to actually install the pieces. The SAE style connectors fit very snug - a good thing. Clean design. Not really a "bang for the buck" item as there are limited solutions available to compare with...unless you fabricate your own solution. Much cleaner solution than any home-job I could have done. April 1, 2013
Easily adaptable to any bag Having found the detachable Chase-Harper small pouch from my new soft saddlebags fitted perfectly on the cross-bar of my XT600, I decided to power it up with the Powerlet unit. Being compact itself, it easily fits in the pouch leaving room for i-phone and can even view in map function by leaving the zip partially open. Very simple to install, clear practical instructions and a very well made product. February 25, 2013
will provide power in my trunk As others have done on the www.ST-Owners.com forum, I will be using this kit to bring power to the Pan topbox on my ST1300. It will provide a safe, secure and dry location to recharge various electronics while on a trip. Cell phone, Kindle, even the Garmin Zumo if the on bike mount should loose power for some reason (happened to a friend on a recent trip, so he just recharged the gps at every stop). Revzilla is a good place to buy this product and their customer service is top knotch. March 6, 2012

All I see is a cigarette lighter plug. In order to charge my Kindle and iPhone I will need to buy additional adaptors from Powerlet?

Answer:
No need for a Powerlet adaptor. I'm using a generic cigarette lighter plug with USB inlet and a standard i-phone charging cord. I've wrapped mine into a small bundle and taped with electrical tape into a very convenient, small unit.
