I have used this product for my T5 Gerbing gloves. I intended to use this as a bridge until I bought my heated coat liner. I can then use this for sock liners later if needed. The one thing I is this thing is hard to turn on with my gloves on. It does work just fine. I was told not to turn it above level 4 due to the T5 gloves draw more power. I have not needed it above 3 even in 25 degree range and wet. Gerbing does not warranty your gloves with this product.

I bought these to use with "Powerlet rapidFIRe Heated Glove Liner". The liners are perfect. Installation of this controller set is extremely easy. You have to install the harness directly to the battery and there is a female-lead at the end that fits the male-lead comes out of the 5 position controller. When you park your motorcycle and leave then you have to disengage these connection and the motorcycle battery won't be in use then. So there won't be any issue of battery discharging. It took me less than 10 minutes to install them. I used it at 30 F and 65 mph for 1 hour at controller setting of #3 and did not feeling any cold in my fingers or palm. I wear them under my winter gloves that goes till upper 30s F at 65 mph. This kit does not includes "Powerlet Heated Glove Y Cable" and I did not need them to use with the liners because the controller wires are sufficiently long to go through my sleeves and connect the liners and still I keep some length of the wires folded. I would definitely recommend this controller along with the "Powerlet rapidFIRe Heated Glove Liner". You won't need any accessory other than these two (and ofcourse a pair of gloves) to keep your hand warm during winter riding.
