I bought this because I already have a lighter installed on my bike. It works fine. I have no complaints.

Perfect Item
I have always used Gerbings heated clothing while riding. I just realized I needed extra warmth while in my open air jeep. This 12 volt adaptor fits the need perfectly, it even has a indicator light and on/off switch built in if you don't have the Gerbings rheostat to control heat.
Great versatile product and less than 20 bucks to your door.

How long is the cord on the 12 Volt DC Plug Adaptor?

I'm considering Gerbings heated gear, but the power port (cig lighter) is on the lower right hand side of my batwing fairing. If this 12 Volt DC Plug Adaptor is not long enough, would a marine quality extension fit the bill?
