O'Neal Element Boot 4.3 5 44 44
Nice Boots The only problem i had was that the toe area is really big, toke me a few adjustment with the shifter to get it working good other then that very good so far January 5, 2015
Well built for the price This is my first pair of off-road boots. They are reasonably well made and fit true to size. What is annoying is that 2nd buckle from the top can not be adjusted tight enough. I don't tuck my pants into the boots and it's not adjustable enough to actually tighten. November 24, 2014
Good protection regardless of thier price. Are my feet and ankles worth $450? Sure they are! but why spend $450 when you get the same protection (better in some cases!) for $125? Sure these are heavier and may have less features then some boots but the protection is there. I normally wear a size 10.5 (U.S.). They don't come in half sizes so I tried a 10, too small, so I bought these in 11 and they are a tiny bit big (as expected) so I would say they are sized correctly. I installed some aftermarket gel insoles and I normally wear thick boot socks when riding so they actually fit perfect now. They're a little stiff and take some time to break-in but overall they are comfortable, practical, good looking and most of all, protect you when you spill. November 1, 2014
O'Neal Boots These boots take a while to "break in" but once they do they wear nicely. They have grippy soles and provide great ankle support. October 28, 2014
Great Value for money It needs to be broken first as the material is somehow very hard compared to other brands... for the price you are paying, this is a very good deal. October 13, 2014
This is a great product. The boot fit exactly as I needed it to and it is quite comfortable, however, the second strap up is as tight as it will go and doesn't quite tighten up around my leg. September 15, 2014
Best protection for the lowest price Well I have put about 1k miles on these and its time to write a review. Sizing: I normally wear a size 10 US shoe with D width, and the size 10 boot is a perfect fit. Negatives: Only complaint is that I have the ratchets almost fully tightened. If you have really skinny calves / ankles these might be a bit loose. The buckles are plastic, but I expect that at this price point. If one were to ever break they seem very easy to replace. A bit heavy at around 4 lbs each. Positives: Doesn't get too hot, stays warm at night. Full protection. I even think these are more protective than Sidi Cobras. The ankle has no lateral movement, whereas the SIdi's can be bent left and right with your hand. Full steel shank through the soul. They are very comfortable and move well after a short break in period. I ride a dual sport and the souls have very little wear with lots of standing on my pegs. No ugly metal clip on the toe either which I really like. Keep in mind the red souls pictured do not come with these and they are not replaceable. They are a bit squeaky like a stiff rubber sound, but that really doesn't bother me. I tuck my AGV sport textile pants into these as well. Really happy with my purchase. September 3, 2014
Great Boot I bought these boots because other brands are extremely expensive. Ive worn these five times so far and they work great. Good protection and functionality. The only thing i did not like about this product was that one strap was a bit too long but that is because i have skinny legs. Great boot for the price. I would recommend this product. July 28, 2014

Cody B: I needed a first pair of boots pretty quickly. I read some reviews that were favorable about these and chose them largely based on price. I am definitely pleased with them, although I may be in between sizes. The toe box is bulky and I had to adjust my shifter up quite a bit. Oct 4, 2013
Dotan Z: i will not buy them again.
The sole is ripped after six month.

A shopper asked: I am wondering about the amount of ankle momevent that is possible when wearing this boot. I understand that mx boots are made stiff/rigid for a reason but I'm curious if these are flexible enough for street riding? Flexible enough for ankle movement for proper shifting on a street bike? Jan 31, 2012

Pyzon: The boots are fairly flexible, but less flexible than a regular street boot. If your primary objective is street riding on a street bike, I would get a street boot. If you're a dual sport-rider with a bike like a DR650, KLR, etc, then I would say this are fine. I ride a DR650 and these are perfect for my purpose, but I would never use them on my Ducati Monster. JuanG: I will not recommend this type of boots for street riding. I have this boots for off-road riding, they protect you of rocks or other hard obstacles and must of the time you are on a stand up position and your average speed is low. For street riding I have a totally different kind of boots and my advise is to search for a proper pair of street boots. Mar 5, 2013

RevZilla: These boots should be used for MX only. They will not provide the necessary flexibility or clearance to work with the shift and brake pedals of a streetbike. It would not be safe to use them other than for MX. May 3, 2012

Charlie76: NO! I have to move my shifter lever up because of the bulky toebox, and you need to really break them in before being able to flex your ankle at all. But that's a sacrifice for protection :) Dec 26, 2012
Reply to Charlie76 Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
bcliff: I find the ankle flex of this boot to be adequate for street riding. I don't think I'd wear them on a sport bike but if you ride a dual sport or dirt bike, then they work great. Mar 26, 2012

84swbchevy4x: The Gaerne SG-12 boots are for motocross/off road use. Buy a pair of street boots for the street. Guess they would work on a drag bike with air shift. lol Apr 20, 2012

A shopper asked: Are these boots primarily for motocross use or can you use them for street bike / sport bike use as well? May 24, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Daniel R: Pretty comfortable even for street. Regular jeans will fit over the tops so you won't have to tuck them into the boot and deal with the folds pressing into your ankle. Short answer; yes. May 24, 2014
Reply to Daniel Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Gary B: It's a matter of preference. These boots offer a great deal of protection and will likely feel a little heavy for street use. You aren't going to walk long distances in these. But the soles have enough traction to move around. Other options (both are costlier) are the Gaerne G-Adventure and the Sidi Adventure boots.

The O'Neal Element has 4 buckles, the Gaerne has 3, and the Sidi has 2. Fewer buckles up high allow for more flexibility and comfort but less protection.

gregory s: Because of the size (thickness) these boots would NOT be practical for normal street bike riding. If you were on a dual sport probably.

They are a great boot and give the protection needed even if only trail riding.

Barry C: if you are between sizes, I would go down a size. I'm usually an 8.5 and went with the 9 and it is big. I could have and should have gone with the 8. Jun 9, 2014

A shopper asked: i have a honda crf 250l dual sport and ride from home to the trails on the street (10 miles) and want ankle and shin protection with some flexibility, with that in mind, which boots would you recommend out of the following.

1. O'neal element $126.00
2.Fly racing Maverik $99.00
3.Fox racing comp Off road $190.00

Is there a huge difference between the $190.00 and $99.00 dollar boots??

A shopper asked: Can anyone tell me how big the calf of this is? I've got large calfs, and I want to know whether or not to get it.

My calf size is about 21 inches.
Jan 10, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Mike W: Looks like with the top latch adjusted all the way out it's right at 18 inches if you didn't latch that one you might get more space by using only the Velcro at the top, those measurements were from a size 12 boot. Hope this helps! Jan 24, 2014

AGNES J: Hard to say . my calf is 17 and the boots fit great.
there a lot room left on the belts for adjustments.
I would try if not Revzilla has great return policy.
