O'Neal Element Boot 4.4 5 19 19
Great boot for the price This is a good boot at a great price. Fit and comfort is very good. Buckles are typical low-grade type usually found on boots in this price range - a little hard to get them set the way you want them but after that they work fine. April 16, 2013
Great boots and cool design This entry-leve boots work perfectly for me. They are comfortable and have a great design. March 5, 2013
This is an excellent product Its an excelent product and experince to buy in revzilla January 21, 2013
Great boot for trail riding in various conditions Bought two pair for my oldest two sons they said they are very comfortable and didn't impede rider controls at all. The boots look great too. December 31, 2012
Great Value Good boot, toe box is a bit bulky, so if you aren't used to thicker mx boots be prepared, very stiff and hard to break in, but offer good protection. Better than using sketcher boots or sneakers that's for sure. December 26, 2012
Very good price for entry level If you are a beginner and you don't want to spend too much moony this is the perfect product for you. I have found only one problem when I try to wear this boots with the Thor force knee guards I can't close the last clip. They feel very protective and lite Buy it !!! December 17, 2012
Great boot for the money Puss 'n boots. They feel very protective especially around the ankle where you want it, although surprisingly right out of the box they're not stiff like you would expect, plenty of flex and comfort for walking around off the bike. SIZES RUN BIG. I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on the shoe and i went with a 10 and it fits great with room for heavy socks. Only gripe is there isn't a really pronounced heel so sometimes the kicker might slip out if its wet out. Lay purchase to these boots and you shan't be disappointed. October 15, 2012
Very comfortable boot! The price of these boots drew me to them. I have worn them a few times and they are extremely comfortable. They were worn with the oneal mx socks in 80+ degree weather and i was very comfortable. July 23, 2012

Breaking them in, I washed my car with them on and my feet didn't get wet. Haven't tried them in the rain though. It doesn't rain here much.

I am wondering about the amount of ankle momevent that is possible when wearing this boot. I understand that mx boots are made stiff/rigid for a reason but I'm curious if these are flexible enough for street riding? Flexible enough for ankle movement for proper shifting on a street bike?

Answer:
These boots should be used for MX only. They will not provide the necessary flexibility or clearance to work with the shift and brake pedals of a streetbike. It would not be safe to use them other than for MX.

Answer:
I find the ankle flex of this boot to be adequate for street riding. I don't think I'd wear them on a sport bike but if you ride a dual sport or dirt bike, then they work great.

Answer:
I will not recommend this type of boots for street riding. I have this boots for off-road riding, they protect you of rocks or other hard obstacles and must of the time you are on a stand up position and your average speed is low. For street riding I have a totally different kind of boots and my advise is to search for a proper pair of street boots.

Answer:
NO! I have to move my shifter lever up because of the bulky toebox, and you need to really break them in before being able to flex your ankle at all. But that's a sacrifice for protection :)

Answer:
The boots are fairly flexible, but less flexible than a regular street boot. If your primary objective is street riding on a street bike, I would get a street boot. If you're a dual sport-rider with a bike like a DR650, KLR, etc, then I would say this are fine. I ride a DR650 and these are perfect for my purpose, but I would never use them on my Ducati Monster.

The Gaerne SG-12 boots are for motocross/off road use. Buy a pair of street boots for the street. Guess they would work on a drag bike with air shift. lol
