Olympia Women's Ranger Jacket

Olympia’s Women’s Vent Tech Ranger jacket functions year round in all weather conditions and offers unmatched levels of venting to deliver multi season riding comfort. Plenty of waterproof breathable jackets claim to function in a wide range of temperatures but their lack of adequate venting limits their use to cooler riding conditions. Equipped with Olympia’s “Two Layer System Design” this jacket offers the ultimate in multi season riding comfort.

Layer One - Wet and stormy rides are no match for Ranger's coated Cordura shell and waterproof breathable seam sealed membrane. For added protection from the elements, it also includes four zippered waterproof pockets and an oversized zippered waterproof back storage pocket. This jacket also offers a Women’s specific fit and flattering hourglass shape.

Layer Two - For maximum comfort during cold weather rides this jacket is also equipped with a stylish, sturdy wind and water resistant breathable stretch nylon soft shell liner with Thermolite insulation, mandarin style knit trim collar, two zipper pockets and oversized interior stash pocket.

AVS Venting System - For warm weather riding, Olympia’s women's Ranger jacket offers their exclusive AVS shoulder to forearm and torso venting system. Special water tight fold up chest pocket flaps and velcro lock down torso straps hold chest zipper vents open to create adjustable air flow. Shoulder to forearm venting plus vertical back vents with fold back vent covers create maximum airflow and offer protection from the elements when you need it.

This product offers great protection and is durable I really like this jacket. I would highly recommend it. June 9, 2014
Keeps me dry and warm. I bought this for the rainy weather here in Seattle. The inner liner that is a separate jacket is really ingenious. It adds that extra layer of warmth across my chest. With the liner out, the jacket is still fairly warm. I rode with it on a warm, sunny day (66 degrees). The jacket was stuck to my arms with sweat, so I recommend wearing a long sleeved t-shirt underneath. The fit is good except for the collar. It is either way too tall or I have an extremely short neck. I need to keep it open to fasten my helmet. The outside pockets are nice with waterproof zippers and snaps. I haven't tried the built-in rain hood, yet. Sizing - I bought an XL. I have a 42 inch chest, 38 inch waist, and 50 inch hips. The zippers on the side gave me the right amount of hip room. It fits perfectly around my chest and waist. April 16, 2014
My new go-to jacket for all seasons! The size chart was spot on, I'm 5'10, 165pds, 40" chest, 33" waist. I'm not busty but have broader shoulders and the XL fits me perfect. The American cut gives that freedom of movement I desire while riding, very adjustable, and flows with our curves. The grey/blk looks sharp and sporty. I compared the Ranger side by side with an AST2. Olympia has improved the Ranger with fit and just enough features that I chose to keep it over the AST2. Some pros: same quality material, stitching and zippers. They've improved the overall fit. It looks sleeker and fits with less bulk. The velcro along the arm vents is now one piece making it easier to open and re-seal. The neck roll hood is a handy new feature, easy to deploy and put away. Ranger has beefier front vent straps, larger reflective stripes on the arms, and a significantly larger rear waterproof pocket. The thermal lining is black and velvety to the touch, vs AST2 liner that is silver and silky to the touch. Both are still 80 grams of insulation. Ranger uses the same front button closure system that takes a bit to get into, but the seal it provides is worth it. It also has the same velcro adjusting points at the cuffs, waist, elbows and neck. Some cons: The front waterproof/hand-warmer pockets are smaller on the Ranger...by about an inch around. It's a tight fit to squeeze my hands in and forget about doing so with thicker gloves. There's less reflective piping on the back of the Ranger. Wish the neck was cut with a wider adjustment. Feels constrictive when sealed. Of course that helps keep the elements out but its borderline choke for me. How come the men get more color choices?! Function: Living in AZ I needed a jacket that can handle our erratic weather patterns and varying temperatures. I need waterproof, windproof, thermal insulation for the winter and good venting for summer. I have no doubt this jacket will vent in the summer, but the true test was whether it will keep me warm. Been riding to work on the interstate with temps ranging from 30s to mid 60s. So far its held up great and kept the chill out. Been through a major wind storm and can vouch its windproof! I'd recommend layering with a thermal fleece for rides below 30. Though the neck area is a bit tight on me, it provides an excellent wind block and seal with my full faced helmet. The jacket gets a lot of compliments and I love how it fits when I'm on and off the bike. I expect to get many years and thousands of miles out of this one! March 31, 2014

Jacket Size Guidelines
We suggest you use these size charts as a general guide. Variables in weight distribution and height may alter the appropriate size range indicated. As a general rule Olympia Jackets are designed in America, with an "American" body in mind. As such, you will find that Olympia tend to fit more generously then European brands (such as REV'IT!, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spidi). If you are in between sizes, we recommend to you to err on the smaller side.

Pant Sizing Guidelines
Olympia pants fit true to size. If you intend on using them as over pants, please go one size up.

Inseam Lengths
Olympia pants are cut with generous inseams to accommodate various riding positions. Olympia EZ hem bottoms (can be hemmed up to six inches) and adjustable knee armor help riders achieve a custom fit
