Jacket Size Guidelines
We suggest you use these size charts as a general guide. Variables in weight distribution and height may alter the appropriate size range indicated. As a general rule Olympia Jackets are designed in America, with an "American" body in mind. As such, you will find that Olympia tend to fit more generously than European brands (such as REV'IT!, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spidi). If you are in between sizes, we recommend to you to err on the smaller side.

Pant Sizing Guidelines
Olympia pants fit true to size. If you intend on using them as over pants, please go one size up.

Inseam Lengths
Olympia pants are cut with generous inseams to accommodate various riding positions. Olympia EZ hem bottoms (can be hemmed up to six inches) and adjustable knee armor help riders achieve a custom fit

Tight and Warm Bought these to use as over pants on top of jeans. They're a little tight fitting considering, but they are great if you just use them as regular riding pants. Air flow is poor because these are waterproof, although I have yet to test out that quality. There are two layers, a thermal and an outer layer. I find that having the thermal in makes the ride too warm in mid-50's riding because the outer layer does an excellent job of blocking wind chill. If you would like to use these as over pants, I would recommend getting a size larger for a more comfortable fit, although the right size would work also, just a little tighter. May 13, 2014
Tickled (NOT pink)! Spent 2 months researching pants. HATE being cold, but do not want to look like Yeti either! I wanted waterproof, with liner, adjustable knee padding, and most of all...pants that fit. Nothing met ALL my requirements, until I found the Olympia pants. I am 5'4", weigh 120, but all the pants I tried were just too short. (Sizes: waist=28, hips=37, inseam to FLOOR=32). Bought a size 6. Obviously, I am not a tall woman, but for an overpant, I wanted the pants to go OVER the boots. The extra six inches made ALL the difference. Could probably hem an inch, but won't bother. Full zip (on liner and pant) is FABULOUS! Last ride temp started at 60 (liner with jeans), ended at 75 (switched out the jeans for shorts). I will wear these all summer (without liner), in Georgia...I will be safe and warm. And...they are NOT PINK! May 9, 2014
Very happy with my purchase These are my second pair of armored pants. I got to put them to the test this weekend riding down to the Catskills, doing some rough off-road in them, then riding home in the rain. The fit is really great - the 18 is a true 18 - not just a size 4 blown up. They were a few inches too short, so Olympia sent me extra waterproof fabric (for free) so I could have them lengthened. They were very comfortable both on and off road, and stayed waterproof in heavy rain. I really like the extra heavy duty Cordura on the butt and knees - I don't have to worry about damaging the fabric when I kneel on the ground while wearing the pants. My only ding against these pants is that they have no vents or two way zippers on the side I could use to let a little air in. It isn't important enough to make me look elsewhere for pants though. These just can't be beat for the quality and functionality at that price point. October 8, 2013
Excellent value and features for the price. I buy a lot of Olympia sports wear for its fit and function. March 25, 2013
Great fit everywhere but the bagginess of the leg. Once again great fit by the length and waist. The stretch in the side panels help make this very comfortable ridding. I do wish that there was some vents to allow air flow on warmer days. The full zipper is great at allowing removal of pants without taking off my boots. I found that putting slick athletic pants make the knee armor stay where it should be and eliminates clinging effects of the pants interior liner. Have not tried the winter liner yet but they look like they will be great. The end of the pant has a separate velcro from the zipper. This makes easy adjustments on the pant length allowing it to stop dragging the ground when I am not on the bike, and I do not have to do it every time I zip on or off the pants. Love the armor pads positions. I feel safer and have seen the results of low speed bike drops that make me a firm believer in always wearing my gear... September 25, 2012
very comfortable I just bought these pants and have not had the opportunity to use them in really hot or cold conditions but have wore them for 800 miles now and they are very comfortable. I am happy with my purchase. April 23, 2012

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Pimwadee L: I needed a pair of overpants for commuting to/fro work. These are the most protective I could find at the moment. Nov 19, 2015
Donald R: Wife already has a pair of Olympia Airglide 3s and loves them. This was a no brainer! Oct 23, 2014
Gregg G: Expected better breathability associated with waterproofness compared to BILT. Not disappointed. Jun 23, 2014
Bobby S: waterproof and thermal liner - photo of model made the pant look good - decent price Apr 29, 2014
Pimwadee L asked: What do you think of the protection scheme? I am very conscious about being well-protected. That being said, the reinforced knees and seat seem extremely obvious in the pictures. Are they so for you? Nov 18, 2015

Melissa H: I have found them quite protective. I crossed the continental divide on a trail in Colorado and well as toured Costa Rica in them. They performed quite well in both situations. Best pants around for the money. Nov 19, 2015

Stephen Y: The knee and hip protection in these pants is good. The material is also very heavy. I think they are too warm for summer riding. Nov 19, 2015

A shopper asked: Are there any vents in these pants? I would use them for Spring thru Fall riding. Oct 13, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Lori K: There are NO vents in these pants (bummer). I use them for fall & cold weather commuting in the desert southwest. With the liners they are good down to freezing temps.

For summer and warm weather I have pair of Olympia Airglide vented pants which do very well at higher temps (65 and above).

Rachel S: There are no vents.
The zippers are on the sides of the pants - but not really made for venting. For warm weather riding - you would definitely need a lighter pair of pants.
But for all other seasons - these are quality pants and great gear.

A shopper asked: Is the waterproof membrane fused to the outer Cordura fabric, or is it a separate layer? Jan 30, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Elizabeth K: It is part of the Cordura, no separate liner.
I've ridden in bad rain, no issues with leaking.

Chris F: The outer layer is water proof, the inner removable layer is just for insulation. Jan 30, 2014

A shopper asked: When sizing as an over pant, would you order one size higher than your normal pants size? for example regularly wear a 18 in pants, order an 20 for over pants? Oct 29, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Rachelle: I would say try to match the size as close as possible. I bought pants that were a size larger with this same thought — that I may want to wear pants under etc, but in the end, I felt they looked baggy and I wish I had something more stylish;)

You can always buy heated pant liners too, which are fairly thin, so you don't need to wear bulky clothing underneath.

Stevan P: You do not need to size up for overpants. They are designed to fit over standard sizing. Nov 9, 2011

A shopper asked: What are the differences between the Pro Max Over Pants and the new Pro Max 2 Over Pants? May 4, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chris K: These are the bullet points that Olympia provided on the new features for the Pro Max 2. Trust me, this is a direct quote! :-)

• Changed fitment on front and back rise so they sit lower, less like 1970s pants
• 3M scotchlite piping added all the way down front of the legs

Clouddust: I think it is weather or not you will be ridding in colder weather. One is more vented and allows air flow for the hotter weather. Sep 25, 2012

A shopper asked: How large are the pockets on the women's pants versus the men's pants? I would like to put my tri-fold wallet in one of the front pocket of the pants. Are the pockets big enough to accommodate a 4 1/2" x 3" x 1" wallet? Also, are the pants pockets waterproof? Jun 15, 2015
