Olympia Nova 2 HiViz Safety Vest

The Nova takes the classification of hi-viz safety vest to a whole new level by combining enhanced visibility with rider specific function and fit. Cut in authentic Cordura® fabric with ballistic airflow mesh panels, the Nova offers maximum cooling with major abrasion resistance. Engineered to be worn over any motorcycle jacket, a custom fit can be achieved by utilizing adjuster straps located at the side body and waist panels. Safely stowing extra gear is no problem as the Nova offers two oversized zippered chest pockets, snap side entry pockets, a see through ID chest pocket and a zippered waterproof back pocket. Seven oversized 3M Scotchlite™ panels qualify this vest for use by US military personnel.

Good vest, fits a little large. The vest fits a bit large. I'm a pretty broad shouldered guy and ordered the xl-xxl size. I could have gone with the size lower just fine, although I'm not wearing it over a jacket. Also, the waterproof pocket in the back of the best is positioned to leave a giant sweat spot perfectly in the center of your back, as it provides no airflow and gets fairly hot. All things considered it is a nice vest, the price is about right, and it is definitely visible. Other than the few pints a ove, I'm very happy with it, and would not have been more satisfied if I had purchased another brand. May 20, 2013

Perfect solution I wnated a Vest to put all the Patriot Guard patches and some of my veteran patches on and sometimes we are required to have High Visibility gear, this was a perfect solution and after completing a mission I can take the vest off. Love it. January 7, 2013
Safety and Quality Every Motorcyclist should consider HI-Viz gear, in this age of distracted drivers (cell phone use, etc,). I decided to forsake my vanity for my attractive leather jackets, and protect my life against injury or death. After reading other reviews, I chose this vest. Very Pleased! Good adjustability, quality, and fit. I've already noticed, and been told by a driver at gas station that the Hi-Viz got his attention early. Enough said! December 17, 2012
Good Looking, Great Quality I chose this vest because when I wear it over my all black jacket, it looks like it's part of the jacket. When I get to my destination I can remove the vest, stow it in the seat and it looks like I am wearing a plain black jacket. I wear it every time I get on the bike. It goes on easy and once it is adjusted you don't have to re-adjust it unless you wear it over a different jacket or coat. It is almost 50/50 yellow/black and the contrast really makes it stand out. The waistband is both elastic and velcro so there is a little play in there for comfort. It has a pocket on the back and a cell phone pocket inside that I find inconvenient. There are 2 slash pockets near the waist that have snap closures. I wish they were zippers since they are difficult to snap with gloves on. I do like the 2 zip pockets on the chest. i keep my I.C.E. card in the clear one (medics are not going to stick their hands in your pockets to look for ID) and I keep my sunglasses in the other one. All the zippers have rubber pulls so you can use them with gloves. It's holding up well and it's very stable and does not flap around at speed. In the summer I wore it with a mesh jacket and the ventilation was very good. It's constructed like a garment with multiple layers of fabric, not like a flimsy safety vest. November 25, 2012
Quality build and materials. Stylish. Good sizing. As an old fat guy (250 lbs) who already owns a bmw rallye pro jacket I was looking for a hi-viz vest to add additional visibility, but hadn't been able to find anything locally that would fit over my big ol' gut and that big bulky jacket. I wear an XXL in most clothes and my jacket is a size 60 - I bought the largest size (3xl-4xl) in the vest and it does the trick over the jacket. The armholes are also well cut so that the vest lines up properly with the arms of my jacket, and with all the black accents on the vest, if you are using a black jacket underneath it makes it look from a distance like it is a a hi-viz jacket, not a jacket + vest combo which helps get away from the school-crossing guard vibe. Although at the top-end price-wise for vests, this one is very high-quality and more stylish than others I've seen with a lot of black in the color mix. November 5, 2012
Exactly what I was shopping for I looked at many, many vests before seeing this one. Was looking for a hi-vis vest to wear over my black BMW Comfortshell jacket. I wear an Olympia mesh jacket in warm weather and know the quality of their products. This vest is no exception. Great quality, hi-vis, fits perfectly. I considered ordering an XL over my size Large jacket (44R) but ordered a Large based on reviews and adjustability of the vest. The Large is a perfect fit without using expandable features. I love it. As usual, delivery from Revzilla was lightning fast. October 15, 2012
