Olympia MotoQuest Pants 4.7 5 12 12
Excellent riding pants I just got back from a 7.000 mile road trip from MI to CA. I wore the pants about 90% of the time. It got so hot in the desert I did remove them and just wore jeans. That said they were very comfortable and offered great protection. When I first ordered them I got my waist size. However I found they would not fit over my jeans. I returned them and got the next size up. That way I could wear them with or without jeans. On the very hot occasions, +110, I would just slip them off and go jeans only which I had on as the mornings were cool in the desert. On most days putting on 400+ miles I would just wear the pants, no jeans, which were very comfortable. August 4, 2014
Great for tall guys Love the features! I ride a Honda ST1300 and they do throw a good amount of heat at a riders lower legs so full mesh pants do work so good on this bike. These pants have wonderful airflow upper half of legs but have good heat shielding in the lower half. Great for hot days opened up and closed if it's cool. I have the hi Viz stripes and like the visibility. The rain liners ability to go over or under is a great idea. The length is perfect for my long legs, very rare and hard to find in many motorcycle pants..my Revit Sands were always just a little too short. And I can not express enough how much I appreciate the real belt loops, so I can wear a real belt and don't need suspenders to hold these up. Very pleased and have already recommended to others in my group. July 28, 2014
heavy duty protection except for back of legs I got these primarily for the 500 and 2000D Cordura; too many other pants have fabric that I don't trust. Good pads at knees, very flimsy and thin foam hip pads, which I replaced easily enough with nice Klim pads which fit well. Nice heavy leather reinforcement on inside of legs. 2000D at knees and seat are confidence inspiring, as is the 500D elsewhere. The surprise is the large area in back of legs, from mid hamstring to mid calf, made with very thin fabric that feels like a light knit polo shirt. Not a little stretch zone, but a rectangle maybe 6" by 15" on my size 32. Scary, considering the heavy stuff elsewhere. Venting is not great on my upright Triumph Bonneville, in spite of very long zippered vent panels. Seems like the venting only starts happening at the fully open position, at the area above the knees, but nothing really vents up near the waist, where you need to pull the zipper down. So now you have this very large open area, no longer protected by the heavy Cordura, just to get at a couple of inches at the bottom of the vent which are effective. I'd say the zippers are either upside down or just way too long. Small vent closer to knees would be much better. July 24, 2014
One of the best all-round pants you can buy! I purchased the Motoquest Pants to accompany my Olympia Airglide 4 Jacket. I ordered these per suggestion of ordering based on actual pant size. I had to do the average since some pants fit as a 40 and others as a 38. I ordered the 38. When I received them, the rain pant was installed inside the pants. In this setup, I didn't think I'd be able to wear them because it was pretty tight - and they were. However, a just a few rides, they got broken in and stretched where I can now wear them comfortably. You can also get into them easily with boot on so long as the rain pant isn't in place (the sides unzip allowing you to "walk into them". The rain pant can also be worn over the shell, too, which is nice to say the least. Excellent construction and finish (as with any Olympia product). The only thing I'd like to see a bit more of is 1. pockets and 2. more mesh for breathing. There are only 4 pockets and located in the places as a regular pair of pants - it'd be nice to have some cargo pockets for a phone or whatnot. Also, the huge thigh mesh is nice, but that flap folds down into a pocket in the chins - I'd like to see another mesh area in the chin. Good thing is you can unzip the side of the pant to get some more airflow (but at the sacrifice of protection). Another small nitpick is that the adjustable knee armor is great as far as adjusting up and down, but I've noticed that the armor moves slightly inward (towards the bike) when sitting. It would be nice it it were more centered directly over the knee. Overall, its an excellent pant and well worth the price. It should offer years of service and excellent protection (from both the weather and cagers)! July 21, 2014
excellent spring/fall cold/rainy weather pant Great fit, water proof liner can be worn inside or outside of the pants. Great pockets and good ventilation options.nice fit for over pants buy one waist size larger if primary use is overpants July 14, 2014
Buy them. Pretty bombproof pants if you ask me. Material seems super tough and the leather inner is a cool addition. The armor is good and the adjustable knees actually work! The only weak point in these pants is the hip armor which I replaced with Bohn armor. The ventilation if freaking awesome! Can't say anything about durability because I've only had them a month, but they feel like they'll last a while. July 7, 2014
Nice Moto Pants Seem to be quite beefy and well made. Airflow is pretty good with the vents fully open. Knee armor stays put. Normally wear a 33-32 jeans and the size 32 Motoquest pant fits just right with just undershorts, would have to go up to the 34's to wear as overpants. A D3O hip armor upgrade would be a nice add-on but not available. I like that the waterproof layer can be used on the outside so you can just bring it along and throw it on if needed. Will probably get the MotoQuest jacket for late Fall/ early Spring riding. Wearing these pants with the Switchback mesh jacket for Hot Summer days. July 7, 2014
You get what you pay for Expensive, but met my expectations. I removed the water proof lining. Very comfortable even in 94F heat. I wear 39 so got size 40 and they fit well over shorts. Have not tried over jeans. I'm 5'11" on a good day and with boots, and on the mc, length is perfect. July 5, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
A S: Looking for something that does commuting, dual sport and enduro work all in one unit. This is it. Aug 21, 2014
Bruce G: The Revzilla Team really helped with this purchase. I am planning a trip around the world and couldn't afford the Klim gear. The gear geeks steered me in this direction for a jacket and pant combo. I am a big guy (6'3, 250) and I can't wait to get suited up in this stuff. A big shout out to Ethan and the team for their solid advice. Aug 21, 2014
johnny r: Revzilla reviews and I went to the Olympia web site and watched the owner do the review. You see a product that has been well thought out and that the company is proud to present. Aug 18, 2014
Aaron P: Matches my MotoQuest jacket which I absolutely love. Aug 14, 2014
David M: Why to match the jacket, of course. Jul 31, 2014
Matt H: Olympia products are top notch, quality products. And this pant is a 4 season pant that met my needs and desires. Jul 28, 2014
Scott W: I needed to replace my 20-year old suit, and the MotoQuest jacket and pants looked like the best option for me; mostly four-season ability, durable, and reasonably priced. Jun 27, 2014
Carl D: To go with my Olympia MotoQuest jacket Jun 18, 2014
Charles Y: Previous purchase of Olympia jacket that I am quite satisfied with. Super service and fast shipping from Revzilla Jun 4, 2014
Jason H: I wanted all-weather pants, with high visibility, that I could use alone or as an over-pant. These really fit the bill. Mar 11, 2014
A shopper asked: Would the motoquest pants go with the airglider 4 jacket or would there be a fitting problem? How long does it take to ship these to Australia? Jun 17, 2014

LOUIS D: I do not have the airflider 4 jacket so I can not comment on that. As for the motoquest pants, they are excellent material, look great and fit to size. I am a 34 waist and I ordered 34 which fit me very well. Armor feels good in the knees and are flexible not rigid. I am 5ft 11 tall and had to get the pants, and the rain liner hemmed two inches. The piping down the side of the leg is great for more visibility by other motorists. Jun 17, 2014

Ken U: I can't say if the MotoQuest pants would go with the Airglider jacket, but I can say the MotoQuest jacket and pants I purchased are excellent. Quality and fit are perfect.

Revzilla were very prompt and my gear arrived in one week from placing the order.

All up I am very satisfied.

Charles Y asked: Are there molecular armor hip pads that can replace the included EVA foam pads? Jun 5, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Evan L: Based on the spec sheet for the pants the hip pads are removable. I have not seen any documentation about what other types of pads can be put in the pants. The best thing to do is probably call Olympia inquiring about the addition of other pads. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Jun 6, 2014

Scott W: The pad pockets seem to be large enough to accommodate other hip pads, but I'm not certain they'll fit. Sorry I can't be more help. Jun 5, 2014

Jason H: The pads are certainly removable & replaceable, but I'm not sure what replacement options there are from the manufacturer. Jun 5, 2014

A shopper asked: I bought an X Moto jacket a couple of months (shipped to India). It was on sale. No regrets and I absolutely love it. I didnt buy pants at the time because I was short on cash and I didn't realize they were going to discontinue the X Moto series. Can I buy the Motoquest pants instead? I mean, can I pair the Moto Quest pants with the X Moto jacket? Will it attach properly? Jun 5, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jason H: I believe that all the Olympia products are made to attached together in the same way. Jun 5, 2014

Jacket Size Guidelines
We suggest you use these size charts as a general guide. Variables in weight distribution and height may alter the appropriate size range indicated. As a general rule Olympia Jackets are designed in America, with an "American" body in mind. As such, you will find that Olympia tend to fit more generously then European brands (such as REV'IT!, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spidi). If you are in between sizes, we recommend to you to err on the smaller side.

Pant Sizing Guidelines
Olympia pants fit true to size. If you intend on using them as over pants, please go one size up.

Inseam Lengths
Olympia pants are cut with generous inseams to accommodate various riding positions. Olympia EZ hem bottoms (can be hemmed up to six inches) and adjustable knee armor help riders achieve a custom fit
