Designed to coordinate with Olympia’s MotoQuest and Nomad jackets, the MotoQuest Pants can be worn as standalone riding pants or as a full over pant. It offers Olympia’s unique “Two Layer Systems Design” for enhanced function and versatility.

Layer Two - Offers a fully functional hi-viz rain pant that's sized to fit over or under the out shell. Generous leg openings with an adjustable VELCRO® brand closures closure system at the bottom makes standing boot entry a breeze. Jacket Size Guidelines
We suggest you use these size charts as a general guide. Variables in weight distribution and height may alter the appropriate size range indicated. As a general rule Olympia Jackets are designed in America, with an "American" body in mind. As such, you will find that Olympia tend to fit more generously than European brands (such as REV'IT!, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spidi). If you are in between sizes, we recommend to you to err on the smaller side.

Pant Sizing Guidelines
Olympia pants fit true to size. If you intend on using them as over pants, please go one size up.

Inseam Lengths
Olympia pants are cut with generous inseams to accommodate various riding positions. Olympia EZ hem bottoms (can be hemmed up to six inches) and adjustable knee armor help riders achieve a custom fit

Olympia MotoQuest Pants 4.3 5 34 34
Bought pants for winter riding, preform above expectations. You need to take boots off before putting on or off. Initially I wanted pants with a thermal layer. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not needed while riding in 38-45˚. My legs were the warmest part of my body during that 2 hour ride. Product must be hemmed for shorter riders. Overall a good pant, Knee protection could be better. I would say overall I am satisfied with these pants. My only complaint is the knee protection. I crashed at about 55mph and the knee pad shifted because it is just a loose fitting piece of armor. The front/side of my knee took a pretty substantial impact. The pad took the initial hit which saved my kneecap, but immediately after it shifted to the side leaving my knee unprotected. Luckily I will make a full recovery, just wish the padding had provided more protection. After the crash I noticed a tiny tear in the pants, where they first made contact with the road, other than that you can't tell they were in a crash. The other padding in the pants performed very well. Overall good pair of pants, however for the price I wish they were just a little bit better. October 15, 2015
Full length zipper is a lie The full length zipper is only on the main layer. This makes wearing them as overpants no better than just buying oversized pants, unless you take the liner out. It also has velcro at the very bottom, which will likely get caught on your socks. (Not sure whether the velcro is common in overpants, as I haven't purchased a pair in the past) The liner has no zippers at all. Not even at the top of the crotch. So if you need to go to the bathroom, you have to take your pants off completely. Really, this defeats the entire point of buying overpants. I don't have any idea how they could have overlooked this in the design. As a final design note, I wasn't impressed with the armor. The design was kind of cool, since it was flexible, but it didn't feel like it would last long in a skid. October 5, 2015
Great Buy So this purchase took a while- I had my jacket for a while. Since I am a fair weather rider, I really wanted to kill two birds with a stone. These pants do allow for air movement with the two flaps but also keeps you quite warm. Today 9-14-15 I went to work at 9 degrees Celsius. I was very comfortable must I say. I had purchased these as over pants but my size is 36 and I bought 38- a bit big and needs belt but not terrible- I am 5-10 ish and the pants did not need hemming they fit perfect. I also last week took a chance withy the weather and the added rain pants worked well- the only problem is you need straps to hold down the bottoms- no under foot strap. I really couldn't be happier September 14, 2015
Great Pant if you are not looking for Max Airflow. Rider 6'4" / Weight 220 Bike BMW GS1200 Adventure. I was looking for a 3/4 Season pant that offered rain protection as well as rider protection. As with anything designed to multi task, you usually get OK performance across the board and nothing where it excels. That was the case with this pant. The pant fits great. Is comfortable to wear all day and the rain protection is perfect...at temps up to 80* Fahrenheit. I haven't had an opportunity to try it in the winter with a heated liner, but I plan to. One drawback I see with this pant as well as all others with vents, is that the vents are on top of the thigh and it does not do anything for moving air as no air washes up over the top of our thighs when riding. Wearing this pant in temps under 80* was fine and by its design, should be perfect for Winter rides too since there isn't any air flow through the pant even with the vents fully open. When I'm riding standing up on the pegs (off road) the airflow is great, just not so when sitting down. I would buy this pant again, but I might also be looking for a full Summer Pant in the future. Best riding pants I've ever owned! Got these about 2 months ago for a trip up to Deals Gap from Florida this past labor day weekend. I wore these the entire ride up there (10 hours of riding) plus the three days of 7-8 hrs of riding through Tennessee and North Carolina and then the 10 hour ride home yesterday, and these pants were absolutely worth every penny. I wore them with a pair of thin cargo shorts or athletic shorts underneath, and while riding in the 90 degree Florida heat and then the high 80 to low 90 Tennessee heat during the day, these pants kept me cool with the leg flaps open. Whenever we stopped for lunch, I quickly unzipped the full length leg zippers and took these off to walk around in my shorts. Everyone else I rode with were sweating their arses off in their jeans but I was comfortable. In the mornings with the weather in the upper 50's and low 60's, these pants were perfect with the leg vents closed. And in the rain, I was able to quickly slide the rain liner over these and get back on the bike in little time. The rain liner never made me feel too hot, and kept me bone dry! My wife orginally ordered these in my actual waist size (32) but when I got them they were pretty snug, so we returned them for the next size up. Now I have to wear them with a belt, but they are far more comfortable than they would have been in my actual size, plus I can wear these as overpants over shorts which I would not have been able to comfortably do in my actual size. As for some of the other reviewers saying that the knee pads were uncomfortable, I never had that issue. The pads are adjustable to sit higher or lower on your knee, and I had mine in the higher position. I never noticed any discomfort with these pants on. I also wore these with my older Olympia Airglide jacket and they matched almost perfectly! Bottom line: If your thinking about getting riding pants.. get these. And get them one size up if you intend to wear them as overpants. Riding a BMW K1200s September 8, 2015
This pant really rocks Has an amazing air flow, fit slightly large, loved how it stretches simply the most comfortable motorcycle pants I've ever had. Very happy with it. August 17, 2015
Surprisingly comfortable, well balanced pants. I purchased these pants to mate with the Expedition jacket. I find the fit to be dead on with the sizing chart, and comfortably wear these pants over boxers and a pair of shorts while riding. Air flow is decent. As there is only one vent panel per leg, I find that ventilation is limited to radiating off of my legs through the vents while seated, with some air flow noted while standing. The medial leg leather panels do a decent job of reducing transmitted heat from the engine case of my bike to my legs, keeping me comfortable even in stop and go traffic around town. The lateral leg zippers are quite handy, allowing me to easily step into, and out of, my pants while keeping footwear on. The seat pockets get a little tight when in the seated position. I find myself uncomfortable trying to keep my wallet in either seat pocket. The side pockets seem a bit flimsy in regards to the mesh interior, and I fear that my keys might eventually damage them. The rear 8" zipper mates perfectly with the Expedition jacket. The rain gear works very well. I keep the rain layer stowed on the bike, and don it over my pants as needed. I find that these pants perform as advertised. They are solidly built, use quality zips, and show almost no signs of wear after 3 months of regular use. August 4, 2015

Mark F asked: Are these pants roomy enough to fit over full length off road boots? I have Fox Comp 5 boots that go almost to my knees. The pant looks like it might be pretty tight with these? I am hoping with the full length zipper that there is enough space to be able to put these pants on without removing my Comp 5s.

Thanks for the help!

Douglas L: Hey Mark. I'm not familiar with the Fox Comp 5 boots, so I do not know what the circumference is of the upper portion of your boots at their "widest" part. However, we can probably figure this out. I unzipped the pant legs and laid out the pant leg flat on a surface. I then measured the width just below the knee from zipper tooth to zipper tooth. I came up with 23 inches. I did the same at the ankle and came up with 21 inches. Now, if you would take a tape measure and wrap it around your boot, you could determine if the pants will fit over your boots. Keep in mind that there is armor in the knees which is adjustable up and down. Additionally, there is some "stretchability" in the pant leg material. Hope this helps! -- Doug. Sep 8, 2015

Dave D: My boots are size 12.5 and 3/4 the height (just above mid-calf) you describe for your Fox boots and I haven't had a problem. There's a fair amount of adjustment in the pants but I don't know if they'll be tight(ish) with the Comp 5 boots going up a couple inches higher. Good luck. Sep 8, 2015

Martin D: I wear them over Alpinestars Toucans and they fit perfectly fine. The zipper goes all the way up to your pockets.

Overall really happy with them, they could be a bit longer for lower boots but it's not an issue with tall boots. They accept Klim hip protectors.

Philip S: Yes, I can put them on over my off-road boots that also go nearly to my knees. But depending on how your boots close if you're not careful you might risk ripping up the liner that's inside the pants. Sep 8, 2015

Douglas R: Definitely. The bottom part of the pants legs unvelcros to make a nice, wide super bell-bottom that you can get any size boot over. Sep 8, 2015

A shopper asked: I will be using this suit for commuting as well, how do these pants do over other clothes? Does the opening allow putting your boot through, or will I have to put the pants on first, then boots? Sep 25, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Clint A: Can't say how they would be as over pants. Didn't buy them for that. But as far as getting in or out of the pants with boots on, it's no problem at all. The zippers go all the way to the waist. I put my boots on 1st all the time. On real hot days I've stepped out of them and walked around in boots and riding shorts. Stepped back in zipped them up and was on my way.

A s: Side zippers go all the way up to the waist so it should be easy to put these on with boots already on. I almost always wear these as pants, but they also function as over pants. Legs aren't tight so plenty of room. They do run long, perfect as is for my long legs and this would also help cover regular pants underneath, keeping them clean for work. Sep 25, 2014
Reply to A Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Jason H: I mostly use them over a pair of shorts, but they should accommodate pants as long as you get the right size. The MotoQuest pants will zip all the way up to the waist, making boots no issue. However, you'll likely want to use the rain layer on the outside, if you're wearing clothes underneath. Sep 26, 2014

kevin m: The zippers on the sides go almost to the waist making it easy to put the pants on without taking your boots off. (They're really great pants and absolutely suitable for commuting.) Sep 25, 2014

Douglas L: I always put my boots on first, then the over pants. With the zippers running all the way up the leg to the waist, you will have no trouble slipping the pants on over your boots. Sep 25, 2014

A shopper asked: Is the rain liner in these pants a waterproof/breathable material (similar in concept to Goretex or Hydratex) or is it just a waterproof liner that would get clammy and hot in warmer weather? Jan 9, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
WAYNE C J: They are not breathable but are waterproof. Best worn on the outside of the pants as the pants are not waterproof. If worn inside it will stick to your skin. On the other hand, textile pants have a liner and very comfortable. I am very pleased with the pants and where them as over-pants in the winter. It literally only took a minute to put on and off as the temp changed during the day. As for summer, have not had the chance to wear yet. Recommendation, if not worn as an over-pant buy your pant size. If an over jeans consider 1 size larger. Jan 10, 2015

A S: I live in California so I have only used the rain liner once. It seemed like a regular rain liner to me. Not wicking. I use it on the outside of the jacket though for the extra visibility in dark, rainy conditions.
The included hood that goes over your head and under the helmet worked great. I had to water running down my back at all.

Takia R: I am not sure of fabric. I would not use the liner unless raining, and in that case I would put the liner over the pants, not inside. Both the jacket and pants liner can be worn this way. I love these pants and jacket
Be prepared to hem them. I had to cut 4" off. I am 5' 8" tall..

Rick W: I believe it's just waterproof... if it is something like Goretex it's not breathable enough that it won't be sweaty in hot weather. That said, worn as an outer layer they go on and off pretty easily at the side of the road. Jan 12, 2015

Christopher S: I've never worn the liner, but from the feel of it it's just the waterproof liner and will likely get hot if it's hot out. Jan 11, 2015

Charles Y asked: Are there molecular armor hip pads that can replace the included EVA foam pads? Jun 5, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Robert T: I was looking at these pants yesterday in a local store and decided to see what other armor would fit in the hip pockets being I don't think much of the supplied EVA foam. They happened to be located by the Klim pants and their D3O T5 EVO Pro and the D3O Xergo both fit in the pockets. The T5 EVO Pro was a little smaller than the pocket but the Xergo filled it out pretty well. I didn't try on the pants with either of those installed so I can't comment as to the placement of the different armor on your body or how comfortable they would be. Also, D3O makes sheets of their armor (not sure where you can buy it) that you could cut any way you'd like, so if you wanted to you could use the supplied EVA foam pads as a pattern and cut your own. Hope that helped and good luck. Oct 1, 2014

Evan L: Based on the spec sheet for the pants the hip pads are removable. I have not seen any documentation about what other types of pads can be put in the pants. The best thing to do is probably call Olympia inquiring about the addition of other pads. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Jun 6, 2014

Scott W: The pad pockets seem to be large enough to accommodate other hip pads, but I'm not certain they'll fit. Sorry I can't be more help. Jun 5, 2014

Jason H: The pads are certainly removable & replaceable, but I'm not sure what replacement options there are from the manufacturer. Jun 5, 2014

A shopper asked: I have the previous model suit (xmoto?) and don't like the way the knee pads sit. The Motoquest are supposed to be moveable....how so and by how much? Apr 4, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Douglas L: The knee pads go into a pocket, or sleeve, over the knee area. There is over 4 inches of adjustability in this pocket. Three "Velcro" strips sewn across the width of the pocket allow you to position the knee pad as high or as low as you like in the pocket.

I am 5'8" tall with a 31" inseam. I positioned my knee pads in the highest position. The knee pads feel a little low when I'm standing but they are perfect when I am seated on the bike with my feet on the floorboards. I feel it is more important that the pads are in the right position when I'm riding than when I'm walking.

Clint A: Yes they are movable by using Velcro strips closing off the bottom of the shin guard pocket. So you can have the guard sitting all the way down in the bottom of the pocket, or raise it up by 1 3/4" by closing the 1st Velcro strip. There's 2 more strips at 3" and 5 1/2" from the bottom of the pocket. The 5 1/2 " would be if your running just knee caps. Hope that helps. They've beeen great pants so far. Apr 4, 2015

Christopher M M: I have several pair of motorcycle armored pants. Most serve the purpose of providing protection while riding but are uncomfortable walking around in, primarily due to the knee armor. The Motoquest pants are the exception. Last summer we completed a 12,200 mile meandering coast to coast North American ride, Canada and the US, and I did quite a bit of hiking in these pants…they were great. The only issue I have with their entire set-up is the rain gear, which we used a lot. It worked fine but the pants especially are not holding up well, perhaps because they need to be hemmed. They work OK on the bike but have a tendency to drag and tear on the bottom when you're off the bike. Hope this helps. Overall…the best outfit I've purchased…well engineered and has been used from Tucson, AZ heat to Jasper Canada snow…well worth the investment. This year…Alaska! Apr 5, 2015
A shopper asked: Would the motoquest pants go with the airglider 4 jacket or would there be a fitting problem? How long does it take to ship these to Australia? Jun 17, 2014

LOUIS D: I do not have the airflider 4 jacket so I can not comment on that. As for the motoquest pants, they are excellent material, look great and fit to size. I am a 34 waist and I ordered 34 which fit me very well. Armor feels good in the knees and are flexible not rigid. I am 5ft 11 tall and had to get the pants, and the rain liner hemmed two inches. The piping down the side of the leg is great for more visibility by other motorists. Jun 17, 2014

Ken U: I can't say if the MotoQuest pants would go with the Airglider jacket, but I can say the MotoQuest jacket and pants I purchased are excellent. Quality and fit are perfect.

Revzilla were very prompt and my gear arrived in one week from placing the order.

All up I am very satisfied.

Gurushankar S asked: I tend to wear the pants higher up just under the navel. What waist diameter in inches will the size 44 correspond to? Jan 2, 2015

Jason H: I found that they run a little large, since they are an overpant. They do have belt loops, so a little large is a good thing. I'd recommend just measuring where you intend to wear the pants, and then get that size. Jan 9, 2015

Douglas L: I would assume that a size 44 would fit a 44 inch waist. I ordered mine one size larger than my waist size because I sometimes wear my pants as over pants. They still fit fine when worn as riding pants. Jan 3, 2015

A shopper asked: I bought an X Moto jacket a couple of months (shipped to India). It was on sale. No regrets and I absolutely love it. I didnt buy pants at the time because I was short on cash and I didn't realize they were going to discontinue the X Moto series. Can I buy the Motoquest pants instead? I mean, can I pair the Moto Quest pants with the X Moto jacket? Will it attach properly? Jun 5, 2014
