Awesome!
I just got mine today its awesome.First time buyer here and im pretty impress with the service it was fast and free. The helmet looks good. I like the styling and its not heavy at all. you can see everything whats besides you feels like im not wearing helmet at all. LOL

Great air flow even at low speed
I use this helmet mainly for off road. It's constructed well visor is not flimsy at all. It does get a bit noisy at speed but head checks were fine even with the visor. The amazing thing about this helmet is the view I can use almost my entire peripheral vision thing is huge! Fit my head shape well more of an oval fit and a bit snug

Excellent for the price
Excellent helmet for the price. Vision is very wide almost like open face. Good ventilation.
Only problem is fit around the ears. Can't put headsets like my other helmets.

Excellent helmet, amazing price!
I bought this helmet to replace my 3 yr old size lg Shoei Hornet that was getting beat up and fit sloppy. My head measurement is 58cm so I purchased the lg MSR Xpedition on the advise of the Revzilla staff. They were right on! The liner is not as plush as the Hornet but overall It fits my head better. I like that the chin bar fits a bit closer to the face, and the eye port offers excellent peripheral view. My Oakley goggles fit under the shield just as advertised so that too is a plus. The Shoei Hornet chin curtain fits on the MSR and helps reduce minor turbulance. I tried it up to 80 mph on my Sertao and it worked great. With foam earplugs the noise level was very acceptable. This is a great helmet and competes well with helmets that are much more expensive. BTW the free shipping got it to my door in 24hours, very impressive service! I highly recommend this one!

AWESOME HELMET FOR THE $$$$$
I'd been looking for several months at replacing the skid lid with a new dual-sport helmet. The idea was appealing since I do truly dual sport my XR650L. I looked at the Fly Trekker, and the AFX 39 as well as the newest MSR X-Pedition helmets. All three are of the same basic mold. The major differences being that eth AFX has a ratchet type closure vs the traditional "D" ring of the others. I wear an XL in most brands. The AFX XL seemed to be quite tight on my head. The Fly and MSR fit nicely in the same sizing.
I chose the MSX because the fit and finish seemed to be of a little more quality than the Fly.
Riding with the MSR was great. On the highway the helmet feels light on the head and done NOT give the sail effect with the visor. You do feel it slightly if looking far left and right. The vision through the face shield is clear with very minor peripheral distortion. Tested up to 90MPH on the XR650L without a windscreen. Noise was better than average, ventilation is great and ease of closing the vents while riding is superb. Off-road this helmet provides a unique ability to wear goggles under the built in face shield or ride with the face shield up and expose only the goggles. Tried both SPY and OAKLEY goggles and the face shield will close with both models. I did have fear that the face shield would be in the way or fall while off road and it did not.
For $130.00 I can EASILY recommend this helmet. The only down side is the lack of available colors.

Best Bang For The Buck Out There
I needed a dual sport helmet, bought this one, and could not be happier. Little noisy above 40mph but I haven't worn a helmet that isn't.

Fantastic value dual-sport helmet
This helmet is basically the same as a couple other differently-branded entry-level DS helmets, aside from small differences in each design. For the money, this helmet offers a fantastic value. Fit and finish are slightly lacking, and it is a bit on the heavy and noisy side, but it's certainly tolerable, and would probably require more than doubling the price of the helmet to resolve. Minimal visor distortion, great ventilation, fit is spot-on. The visor's detents could be a little firmer as well, but it's something small that shouldn't matter on a helmet at this price point. Overall, highly recommended.
I did have to make one modification to the helmet, the breath guard kept hitting my nose, so I pulled it out (it also is one of the layers of the front intake filter, so that all comes out with it) - I'm sure once the helmet breaks in, it'll be fine, and I think I can slip the breath guard back into place without too much difficulty. For now, I just have a little more ventilation.
